Here in Winchester the weather got pretty wicked this morning around 7:30! Had my wipers on max, the wind was going crazy, quite a few traffic lights were out and I’ve never seen lightning strike so close to me so many times as I did this morning!
Love that GoPro. I think I have the GoPro Hero 7. You can definitely store a lot more footage on them. Glad to see your leg is getting better that was a close call. New sub! I’m enjoying your channel and adventures as a new trucker. I live near Chicago. I’ve been communicating with Roehl and am going to apply when I finish CDL school in a couple of weeks. If you could go back to the beginning of trucking career, is there anything you would do differently?
it's so weird to me that these companies don't have a software navigation system that they update every time a driver learns that they were routed to the wrong parking lot. I can't think of any reason why these big shipping companies couldn't have figured out a way to provide accurate notes for each receiver.
Well it's also the drivers responsibility to do the due diligence to study his/her route. You cant trust gps 100% just like you can't always take Pops directions from the Wrigley stop and shop. When I train I have my students trip plan the first two weeks of loads with an atlas. Then we would look at Google to see what everything looks like. This is not a digg at Bluegrass. He is doing a great job.
I’m just getting a feel for it but I’m definitely disappointed with how this week has went. I plan to do my year to get experience and see where it goes from there. If we get a good leader in the United States again and our economy gets better it will help everything, including trucking.
