Always keep a spare key zip tied somewhere on your firewall on the driver side. That way you’ll always have a way to get into your truck in case that happens again. Things happen in trucking. But you live & you learn what not to do & what to do. You have a great attitude about things. Keep on trucking brother. Most companies have the same keys for all of their trucks. So if someone is near by with your company. They can use their key to open your door as well.
My wife and I loved in east bernstadt ky,near London,loved it there,those ale 8 are the best ginger ale you can get ,love them,and I also want to thank you for taking us along on your journey,I'm about to get into roehl training in Atlanta hopefully in April,that's what my recruiter had said be safe God bless ,and thank you again

The miles from your house to the shipper our paid miles to the driver and empty (deadhead) miles are paid the same as loaded miles or they should be unless you are paid percentage but the way it sounds you are a mileage driver. Keep it up man!!
you should buy a lanyard that hangs around your neck and try to make a habit of it also and hook the keys once your done for the night or at a shipper you can quickly attach the key to the lanyard and go and do your thing or try to get copy of the key to at least to unlock the door . something to think about.
Kentuckiana area here as well, just did the initial application to roehl, 24 year master tech mechanic. Looking to change careers. Have pulled hotshot before as owner operator in my duality. Thanks for the honesty in your videos. Stay safe out there driver. ….keep up, out.

I went to Home Depot and got a lock box and hung it on my back grabber to get onto the catwalk with my spare key in it
