I love a good caustic trap cheese, but the Marvin is probably the best. And a part of me loves when the other players go along with it. I completely understand wanting to be competitive, but you gotta be able to have fun sometimes.
I can't tell you the number of times me or my friends are last man against a full squad. We will stand in the open, crouching and emoting. No one has ever joined us in ranked, the just rinse us to end the game😢

The funny thing is, even though basic bunker trolling is hard (no wraith portal) most players will STILL take just about any wraith portal they see if a knocked body goes into it.
the caustic traps used to be the best defense against sweats aping until they got nerfed like crazy now people just heal in it used be you had get outta there ASAP or you lost and im a mirage main but never see caustics anymore it was fun having to use strats rather then brute force back in season 7 and 8
I'm still a Caustic main, and yes, the traps are so weak now. People just take the like 20 damage and still push you. We can't even hold buildings as we used to because of the possibility of our traps getting destroyed once activated
Yeah besides blocking doors for an escape I almost never use them. The ult is still ALRIGHT for a room push to confuse them and add SOME damage. But imo he needs a rework or buffs with the new meta lately. Crypto can destroy his whole playstyle. So at least give the gas some damage when they are up and going off
I've been respawn beacon camping since day 1 of apex and my oh my the things that you can pull off. I had 2 of my friends with me and we played the biggest legends (Gibby, Newcastle, Caustic) , we all stood still on the same beacon, and it worked 9 times out of 10. by far the most fun I've had in apex. Also the chameleon skin for pathfinder was MADE for me.
Bunker trolling is just too hard these days. Too many teammates that don't want to participate, and too many sweaty, good-teamworky teams that come it and kill you. Back in the day, one person would come in frequently and not suspect a thing, while their team would do nothing. Those were the days.
Please tell me that Booms “Turn it off! Turn it off! Turn it off!” was inspired by Napoleon Dynamite’s same exclamation while using Uncle Rico’s time machine, because that’s all I can see/hear 😂 11:29

sad that the zipline rampart wall didn't work very well, but it's not surprising since pretty much everyone knows that taking a zipline is risky, for Wraith portal in the back your head you're thinking that if things go bad you'll just take the portal back but you can't do that with zipline. i think it could work if you had a full team of 3, though, if 2 people get knocked i think they'd feel comfortable taking a zip.
I had a longbow weapon mastery challenge and it involves killing a person looting a care package so I camped a care package got the kill and proceeded to run to the closest respawn beacon and stood on top of it and the teamate ran to respawn and I killed that person too
It's hilarious when you find enemy friends 😂😂. I found a group at one point we were goofing off behind the window and then we walked around without weapons and then just went our seperate ways 😆.😅
Next time use Alter’s ultimate with control legend traps, teams ALWAYS fall for it! just get knocked take nexus and they will follow it too their death every time even in diamond/master lobbies

Another fun 1v3 caustic trap in bunker is to wait on the door with my max lvl armor on the floor in the room, once they come in I put a trap center room, walk out of the room, trap the door and put another gas trap farther from me in the hallway, then if they retreat they hit more gas followed by my bullets or if they push I alt and shoot lol
Even though the zipline trap is supposed to be cheese, it might actually be a good way to disengage from fights without worrying about them closing distance too fast. Clearly nobody wanted to use the ziplines giving you plenty of time to get the revive and enough time for your teammate to heal.
When testing the portal you forgot the best trick which is setting a portal in a doorway and then placing it somewhere else and as you see them traveling through you close the door and it causes instant death
One that I did back in the day was, putting a path zip on the edge of the map, then I shot in the sky to 1v3 the enemy, when my shields cracked I took my zip and the whole squad followed me off the cliff but I grappled back onto the map 😅😂
Fps gamers aren't really getting more experienced rather than just gotten better at aiming and using the meta builds and strats. Logical and fast thinking is not really a necessity if you can kill your opponent in one mag
