I was born in Guatemala and was adopted at 9 months I now live in England and watching this makes me want to go and find my birth parents. I have never been back since I was adopted. I feel like I’m missing a part of me.
You should definetely go back, whenever you live, whoever you are, it all started there it’s your heritage and i hope that see it and LIVE it would made you as proud and confident as i was after my first month in our land. Yep, adopted in Italy when i was 2 and i waited 32 years to came back, now i’m 40 but i retyrned almost every year. “Mi hermana Chapina” trust me, people can’t wait to meet, speak and show our beautiful country and make you feel like you belong but not as tourist, as Guatemalan!!!
