Yeah that "50 let pobedy" ship is old but sturdy , I didn't know they launched a new cruise ship to the north pole, definitely an improvement over the older ship. Great video, well done.
Aww. The moment Kara was outside in her robe waving to the Russian ship and feeling emotional about the connection to the tourists on that vessel. ❣️ Can't wait for Part 3!
Aww so sweet. About Russia, Fun Fact: "Ukrainian civilians have paid a heavy price: 5,587 are confirmed dead, and the true number is believed to be in the tens of thousands. The number of refugees has surpassed 6.6 million."
I suspect that played a huge part in why they did not pick the Russian vessel. Although the people on the Russian ship could be from anywhere. I got the feeling that the Russian vessel was the budget equivalent of the North Pole trip. I venture to guess that the people on that boat, were regular tourists from all over the world. But who knows? It is horrific what is happening in that part of the world.
@@carolineindacityphx Actually it is quite expensive to be a passenger "Each participant pays up to US$45,000 for a cruise lasting two weeks." I just think it is not a good time to call attention to anything positive about Russia. Too many innocents are being murdered by that country.
@@JohnCarolina870 I agree. I am surprised that the Russian vessel is even still able to go to the north pole! $45K? 😮😮😮 Whoa! Clearly for the rich. Way out of my league.

While that is very peaceful I can imagen how happy feeling it brings for to see more life and that big majestetic russian icebreakers with loads of scientist omboard and the whole lot is just so good. I am loving your trip. Thank you so much for showing us this ship and the journey to the North Pole. Loved the 'two ship passing in the night'.
So glad you’re enjoying it Glenna 😁
The way Kara said “Bonjour” at 20:02 put a smile on my face
So i hope that at this point u guys from Europe and everywhere understand that its not Russians who wants a war. Its Russian, European and US government.
It's so nice to see both ships together
I'm thinking it was deliberate, either way, it's awesome
I got emotional when the two ships were greeting each other. With so much turmoil & uncertainty I know I felt a sense of Peace & Love. Thank you. Safe Travels.
Same here.
When you crossed paths with the Russian icebreaker, I started crying. Our governments are hateful but we, the people, still have love for one another. ❤️ I’ve only been watching for a few months, but this has been my favorite by far! The snowball fight was fantastic. 😂 you two are just so adorable together.
Dear, as a Russian woman forced to flee the country with her family, I can say that most Russians do not treat Americans with "warmth" at all. It is the Americans who are under the illusion that the common people of Russia do not support the war, on the contrary, 60 percent are in favor, at least ....
Thank you for your comment! I cried too! It's so cool just to meet like that in the water, say hi, we all are just living our lives, experiencing things. Government is not all people. People just want peace ❤
@@zlatamaslova9063 …and I’m talking about the 40% that do.
@@zlatamaslova9063 Unfortunately, years of poverty, fear of the government, apathy and brainwashing did this to our people - they became evil and now many people are delighted that our country sends idiots to other countries to kill and rob. ((

I haven’t been able to watch in awhile (career change) and I am SO HAPPY I’m back. You both are such a joy and blessing. My heart is full this Saturday morning.
It’s so wonderful to see the joy between the two ships. There’s so much more that connects us, than divides us
Sure!!! Killing and torturing Ukrainians is definitely a thing that brings us together! Thank u my friend for that. Now I know the country I’m living is not worthy of existence as there’s so much more that connect u and Russians. Sorry that we Ukrainians are in the way of ur beautiful friendship.
Yes. Especially when the Russian ship said "Bonjour" to the French ship. Made me realize we sometimes link countries with their politics and not their people.
@@rockology564 but people dont't realize it .I am russian i never support war in ukraine and russian politics.i am sure My generation 20+ years has same thoughts
Now more people are gonna want to visit North Pole, causing further melting of the polar ice caps🥲
until you're fighting for resources for survival....
So excited when I see these videos come up. Absolutely stunning!! Kara crying when she saw the other people is absolutely priceless but that’s just her. Can’t wait to see the polar bears.
I love how your questions show the difference of depth your conversations have been also.
Nate’s giggling during the snowball fight had me cracking up 😂 You guys are like big kids, in the best way possible.
Kara's giggles during the snowball fight took me over the edge....
The way the other boat's passengers coordinated yelling greetings at your ship was so heartwarming!
Just saw you guys in a video of a russian youtuber who was on the other ship! i’ve been watching both yours and his channels for years what a surprise!!
Hello. I Love watching you 2. I'm unable to travel due to Health issues so I LOVEEEE watching you 2 cuz it's like I'm able to travel along with you guys to all the beautiful and exciting places I'd LOVE to go too but cant. I LOVE how welcoming, inviting, informative, detailed and friendly you 2 are in all ur amazing videos so Thank you for all ur weekly videos they enhance my life.
Seriously, you guys make my day. I've said this before but thank you so much for sharing your adventures. They are all so inspiring and I love how you connect with all of us. 🙂
20:10 HELLO FROM TOPLES (he was making video on 50 years victory)
Nate laughing while obliterating Kara with snow was hysterical. The Russian ship passing was my favorite part
This is one of my favorite series so far. Thank you for taking us along with you! This is weird but I cried when you guys were waving to the passengers on the other boat. I imagined that it was me,not seeing other human being for days in the middle of nowhere (aside from the passengers on your boat) and then all of sudden there’s this other boat with people waving enthusiastically at you. Like what Kara said, she felt connected to them. 😁

the guy at 5:47 is wonderful. look how he jumps into action! all for the cap.
I love how you used the water and ice as transitions between scenes :) Looks so satisfying to watch!
This video is SO chaotic - never seen Kara and Nate quite like this and I LOVE it! 😍
Love seeing you two some how open up more and more and more, and continuously grow. Such beautiful humans.
Love you guys. 💖💖
The two ships meeting was so awesome and must’ve been so special
This episode was so joyful. You get me leaning in to watch and not miss anything.
🦭 Great eyes finding the seal.
🚢 What fun seeing the other only ship and everyone out on deck and waving with the horns blowing. A beautiful memory forever.
Thank you.
This series is up there with the Antartica series! Love this content!
I love the crew member sprinting to get the olive oil cap before Kara can. What a great crew team.
Whenever Kara cried for some reason it made me tear up too, love seeing other people so happy it is contagious 💗
When Kara tried to pull the push door in the snow room makes my heart pound. That is giving final destination vibe. Please don't make me panic like that 😭😭😭😭
Ya'll are too cute!! The impromptu snowball fight after sauna was wholesome af and made me LOL.. I really have come to enjoy every video, relatively new subscriber still binging my way thru!! Love you both and wish you nothing but the absolute best!!
So happy to see this! Currently "forcing" my husband to watch all your videos from the beginning! My 3rd time and his first!
Hahaha love it guys! Enjoy!🌎❤️
I know that your life is one continuous working vacation but this feels like a real one. Super comforting to watch.👌
Yeah that "50 let pobedy" ship is old but sturdy , I didn't know they launched a new cruise ship to the north pole, definitely an improvement over the older ship. Great video, well done.
Thank you guys for taking us to see something that we probably won’t get to do ourselves and also keeping it so fun and spending time so well!!!
Hello Liang
I love your loving dynamic which you two have--especially shown in the Snow Room where you guys had a snow fight! You both have lots of fun all of the time on your adventures! 👏💓
Growing up north of 60, it has always been a dream of mine to experience the North Pole. What a transformative and inspiring place on this planet. Thank you for the fun idea of how to make that happen. I’m excited that I finally caught up with all of your videos and am able to watch as they come now. Keep adventuring and having a great time, it’s been such a joy to follow and laugh along(and inspiring for future travels). **check out Yellowknife (and the surrounding area)NWT sometime(my home town). Lots of fun adventures and a very artistic community. ❤️
Omg a fellow Yellowknifer in the wild! Such a beautiful place to live and be, we moved up a year and a bit ago and its been such an amazing adventure
@@shaiyu6343 I’m always happy to hear that people enjoy and love a space and place I love. Keep adventuring in the North.
@@jolanmagnan449 Thanks so much!!
Kara and Nate, in fact, our meeting near the North Pole can really be considered historical. We, the passengers of the ship, were just as insanely pleased to meet you. (By the way, there were 66 most talented children from all over Russia on board the ship, and I am one of them 🙃🙃🙃) Thank you for the incredible videos, they allow me to plunge into those incredible days again and again and realize that the cold Arctic left the most heartwarming memories in my life, which are unlikely to ever be forgotten
Are you all part of the "homo science Rosatom" program? I noticed all your shirts were advocating for science, so fantastic to see! Bless your young minds!
@@s0steezy yep, Homo Science (created by Rosatom) is a platform for everyone who is interested in science.
And this expedition was created to broaden the horizons of the participants (we talked a lot about Arctic and its problems, 'peaceful' atom, ways to popularise science) and allow them to know themselves more deeply.

i was watching with my little cousin and she has asked me to let you know to say hi to santa for her 😂❤
Kara, I absolutely love you! You seem like such a genuine person and I love how positive you are in every situation. You and Nate are both really cool people.... But Kara is just an inspiration to other women!!! Love both y'all! Keep making videos 😊❤️
Hello Anja
I love you guys so much!! Thank you so much for everything you do. You’ve helped me so much with Covid and feeling stuck during those years.
it's incomprehensible that this video has so many dislikes ... to be honest ? you guys are representing the kind of relationship that I envy a lot nowadays. wish you all the best
Loved the interaction between the two boats. We are social beings, let's keep it that way, shall we?.
I so wanna watch this episode in slow mo just so I could make the most of the 22 minutes I am OBSESSED with this new series 😍
🥳❤️🫶🏻
It must been the real good feeling to see another ship in the place like the North Pole where all you see when you look out is the ice . While that is very peaceful I can imagen how happy feeling it brings for to see more life and that big majestetic russian icebreakers with loads of scientist omboard and the whole lot is just so good.
I seen a couple of icebreakers when I lived in Sweden and they are or were big. Some of them is now retired .
You get a feeling of respect them and happyness over what they do and can do...
Gives you such a security feeling and proundess over their work and courage it did to me.
Kara is such an empath I love it!
I love the North Pole series! Excited to see the rest of your journey.
You two also have reignited the travel bug in me, and I’m planning a crazy trip around the world. I blame and thank you both! 😉
You are welcome 😬🌎
Y’all are the best!
I really enjoyed seeing you two smiling, relaxed and happy through the video 😄
So exited to watch this!! Love your content it always cheers me up when I get a notification that you posted 💗
Currently trying to reach 1k this year! You guys inspire me to make better content! Amazing I would love to do something like this just back from a 2 week trip to Poland and about to start editing my last video! You guys are incredible and I would love to have content as good as yours one day
5:45 the server in the background ran to pick up that dropped cap, bless his heart 🙃
The excitement when a Kara and Nate video comes out 🤩
Experts: The ice room spa cools your heated muscles, stimulates and revitalizes your skin cells.
Kara and Nate: Snowball fight!!! 😂
He needs a cooler head wearing the habitual cap--lose it, it doesn't make you look younger, even and it's bad manners at meals.
@@amandareiche9083 he said he understood not to do it. But he was in a rush. Calm down a bit…
@@amandareiche9083 I think part of why he wears it all the time is the skin cancer he had on his head. Always wearing means his head is always protected.

I rewatch your vids and these north pole ones are some of my favorites. You two are so funny that whole wind part was classic. "Nature" hahahah
You have taken cold weather travel to the next level! You guys are so much fun to watch! Such a luxurious excursion….the snowball fight was the BEST! 😂
Looks like an amazing trip! I mean, it would cool to say you'd been the North Pole but that amazing ship is what is giving me vacation envy. I'd be in that sauna every day! Plus, the two of you always are such cheerful travelers, I enjoy watching you enjoy the trip. 🙂
It seems much more fun on a Soviet icebreaker!
