Hi Georgie , I am going to email you next week about meeting up for some Hunting and Lunch. Thank you for always sharing your amazing knowledge with us. I finally put my first video up. It's not good ,fingers crossed they get better. Lol
I think the figurines, which are Rococo in style, are copies of 18th century Chelsea soft paste china. It was a high end precursor to Statfordshire wares. The green and gold tv lamp was great.
Another informative video, George. Thank you SO much. I learned alot from this one as I always do from all of your videos. I loved that you mentioned Arabia Of Finland Co. Today I learned how to pronounce it properly. 😁...I just sold a 3 Piece set of Child size dishes today. They were purchased by an International buyer. 🌈
I had to be taught as well, the Finnish language is interesting (apparently it shares a lot of aspects with Japanese!). Arabia is great stuff and always sells for me
Hi George! Nice items there. I like that folk furniture. Loved the Comtoise open case clock! That Korean dragon cabinet is fantastic! That French metal smoking stand was unusual. Never seen one like that. That seemed cheap on the "thunder jar". There are some really pretty ones floating about, too. WOW!, that ornate hall tree was beautiful. I would've paid that for it in a heartbeat! The monk's chair was a really good buy. That's something not commonly run across. Super nice items in there! Thanks for the tour!!!
I thought you'd see things you'd appreciate! I haven't had a Comtoise clock in a few years now, they're so cool. I was surprised by the Monk's chair in this location as well, it clearly was under-appreciated
Thank you George, I'm encouraged to shop at an antique mall now such as Weil Antique which is here in Allentown, PA. Thanks again for sharing & have a great day.
Every time I watch one of your videos I end up watching like 5 hahaha! Always appreciate your videos, so much fun, informative and gets me excited to go out and hunt treasures! I actually still have the lamp and I’m working on restoring it. The one you showed was awesome because I’ve never seen one with delphite pieces mixed in! Hope all is well brother!
Hi there! I'm so glad you saw that, I wanted to give you a mention because you and Josie have such enthusiasm for good glass especially and I've wanted that lamp ever since you got it. I should've probably bought the one in this video!
I saw today 2 original 1949 Charles & Ray Eames Molded yellow chairs (not rocking) on Antique Roadshow valued at $1,500 the pair. If they would have been in perfect condition valued to $2,000 the pair. (Yours at 2:20)
Lovely video with lots of Information and knowledge...... I love that brass candles holder ...... is that lamp made of copper .... Awesome Enjoy From tonight ( night lockdown started) With Love from SAM Guwahati Assam INDIA
You can ship through two bags or boxes up to 50 lbs and 62" total (w X h x L) plus take a carry on and personal item at no extra charge! I think Southwest is a great airline personally
Well my tablet doesn't understand English what I meant to say was George not Tricia LOL my tablet and phone speaks and some other language that might be from Aliens I don't know
Glad it was helpful! I thought that was a good tip...I wouldn't break up a complete set, but if it's already short, then why not help someone complete theirs?
Hello my friend. I was in jail for twenty days. That's right they got me. Violated probation, but I did not. I did not fight the law, but still I lost. Missed you.
Shipping would cost $12-15 in all likelihood and it's only a $35-45 retail item. Because shipping takes such a chunk of sales dollars when you're selling lower end items, you can't really pay anything for them
Loved the "Swedish monk's chair" and its triangular seat and carved back.
Interesting piece, yes!
George your show is better than the antique roadshow. Thank you 😊
Wow, thanks! I love their show but mine is more about what we see day to day
Dragon cabinet wow, peacock that’s hand painted is beautiful.

Cool! I hope you find great things there, I haven't been able to stop in Allentown but hope to my next trip North
Allentown! The Billy Joel song, influenced by Bethlehem Steel, by the same name, released in 1982, my sophomore year in high school.

As usual George you did another great job. Are you thinking of doing Petoskey this year?
Possibly! It's so much fun but so far...I'm considering shows in Southern Michigan as well
That was fun George !
thank you and I"m glad it was!
I wish I could come to one of your sales.
I do travel! If you hear of anyone needing an estate sale near you, I've done them in 7 states so far
Id wax that tile table up with black bison
Agreed! I usually use Briwax but Black Bison looks like a good product too
@@TheAntiqueNomad both good. Love your videos. Keep up the good work
Hi there
👍😎🌻
What was a metal smoking stand used for?
It would be to keep the tobacco fresh and have storage for related smoking accoutrements that would get dirty otherwise
@@TheAntiqueNomad Thank you.
Why did I throw away my grandmothers pole lamp??? *banging head on table*
Well yes, that's why they're valuable now...darn it...
Wait!! Southwest airline ships stuff for free?

Why would you be unable to make a profit online with that elephant? Fees?
