Persephone Hades No. All of the main series games took place around the same time. I think Oblivion takes place about 20 years after arena. Skyrim is the only one that doesn't take place around the time of the others. Skyrim is 200 years after the oblivion crises. Arena comes first, but the others come only a few years after one another. They all take place in the 3rd era except for skyrim.
I like how every hero starts off as the most pathetic form of existence in being a prisoner and rises to become one of the most legendary and respected heroes in their world.
Arena: **FANTASY PLOT** Daggerfall: Plan and Prepare Battlespire: Everyone dies! Redguard: **PIRATES** Morrowind: Wonder and Beauty Oblivion: Danger and Mystery Skyrim: *SKYRIM BELONGS TO THE NORDS!* ESO: **CHORUS**
First time hearing the Redguard theme and I've never played it. It really sounds like some pirate/corsair thing. That would have made an awesome game setting.
You know what I'd like to see out of Bethesda? Not ESVI, not a new Fallout. But a re-rendered and remastered Elder Scrolls Anthology. From Arena through Oblivion. I'd like to see all of them just remade with Skyrim quality graphics or better. Also, personally, I like the menus and equipping options from Skyrim, but the Oblivion and Morrowind classes, so they should have that setup now too.
They MUST focus the most on Morrowind, it is just a masterpiece. Imagine how much better it'll become with the new technology we have now in store. Better graphics, even though it is not very important, radiant AI in Morrowind, better and even new mechanics, remodeling from the ground up, more advance character creation as well as management, great voice acting, and maybe even a new DLC for the remastered version? PLEASE BETHESDA MAKE IT HAPPEN.
VikingPotatoes The only issue I see with essentially making a new game from mods is that there's only so much you can do. Regardless of how you retexture or remap faces and bodies, speaking on npc's specifically, you're still going to get the old-game feel from them. Their faces are going to be too round, the shading is going to be awkward, and so on. There are some people who can make it look darn aesthetic, but it still wouldn't look as "realistic" as I would personally like it to. On the other hand, if it was redesigned from the ground up, you would definitely see modders add 4k textures, advanced maps, better shading, and some beautiful ENBs as well as having the graphics system completely redone with more realistic looking npc's and characters. Then you may see a character creation overhaul mod that adds more depth to your personalization of your character. Point in case being, while you can make any Elder Scrolls game look beautiful thanks to a thousands-strong modding community and Bethesda's awesome foresight with leaving their games open ended, it just won't feel as real.
i wish i could play morrowind more easier. without questmarkers i usually have to watch a guide on how to do the quests, which makes it kind hard to enjoy it
Oblivion>Morrowind>Skyrim>Daggerfall>Arena>Battlespire>ES:O>Redguard People always think it's weird Oblivion is my favorite... but there are a lot of reasons for me. I'm surprised it isn't favorites for a lot more people.
That's because it is the same melody with variations between the versions. For instance - Oblivion's theme has a build-up style intro and Skyrim has a singing chorus.
Criomorph True. The choir in Dragonborn made the theme more viking-like. The orchestra in Reign of the Septims sound like there's a great adventure to save Tamriel as Uriel has depicted,
Oblivion was my first elderscrolls game but i went back and played all of them before skyrim all of them are amazing however morrowind/oblivion are definitly the best.
The first time, I really hear all the video, but in my mind was: -Arena -Daggerfall -BattleSpire -Redguard-Redguard-Redguard-Redguard-Redguard-Redguard-Redguard-Redguard... -MORROWIND obliSKYRIM i didn't feel oblivion's music :(
***** It is just not the same xD It is a really big difference if you are traveling through an MMO or a SingePlayer RPG ^^ The graphics are different and the map isn't as big as it could be ... not to say that you are not as linear in a SingePlayer Open World game as in a Open World MMO ^^
I still get chills every time i hear those first low notes of the Oblivion theme, been playing it for like 4 years, still get back into the game every so often
Redguard is where a lot of people think TES changed, with TES Adventure merging with TES of old to make Morrowind. So maybe not the song, but resentment is the foremost reason for that. Personally I think its generic as fuck :D But to each their own.
I agree. Redgaurd's theme is definitely my favorite of the ones Jeremy Soule didn't compose. Personally, I think battle spire is the most uninspired of them.
Music? Morrowind Peaks? Daggerfall - flying over wall at night, four daedric vampiric katanas on the cart, beautiful sound of snow under the feet, huuuge dungeons, Lich Morrowind - Foyada Mamaca, Mushroom-houses, Silt striders, lamp (all of them on my house in Balmora :)), Ogre, Jobasha rare books and, of course, one fool trying to reach the skies :D Oblivion - best voices, day routines and reactions of the folk, scenery, inside the painters picture Skyrim - fog lurking through the trees, pilgrimage to High Hrothgar, deer-headed folk, fauna-in-the-jar, elder tree
The theme you used for Skyrim isn't the Skyrim theme - otherwise known as 'Dragonborn' or 'Dovahkiin' - it's the interpretation of it used for the dragon combat theme: 'One they Fear'. Also, that is not the ESO theme. For those missing out, search up 'ESO Main theme' in UA-cam it'll come up with the real one. The epic one.
If you'd take 10 seconds to notice, this video was made 4 years ago. I provided a link to the real Skyrim theme, and as for the ESO theme, this video was made when ESO was barely heard of. The official trailer had just FIRST come out, so i used the trailer theme. Thanks for your input.
Morrowind sounds like it tell a sad story of a solider. Oblivion sound like an old solider telling a story of a very brutal WAR. and Skyrims theme tells a story of a Hero fighting and died in a War
Misty Derevage Hufford well it's kind of like that first you play with the reincarnation of nerevar that was a soldier and a leader, in oblivion you are the hero in one of the greatest crisis in tamriel, and you could say you are old since you end becoming a immortal God, in skyrim you do take part in a civil war but ultimately you don't really die in it, the end of the dragonborn is still a mystery.
When listening to Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim theme, I've always said, yeah, and I'm in the world of epic battles and epic story where anyone can be what he wants and where he wants to be, all in a breathtaking world of his time.
They reworked the ESO theme so often. He should not have put the theme in there anyway since the game was in a very early state of development back then
OneGamingLp Speaking as someone who generally despises MMOs and the like, I can say that TESO is actually really good as a game. It takes a bit to get past the initial bindings from the prison of MMO boredom. That being said, when you're past it, you're in a beautiful place.
I've played Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim and, while there are things I enjoy about each one, I think I like Skyrim the best. It's way too easy and it's pretty much impossible to fail anything, but the combat is definitely the best of the three and I just get more of a kick out of it overall. It's theme is my favorite too, the fast pace combined with the deep male vocals really do it for me. I like Morrowind's theme too, but it's just a little slow for my tastes. Such a great series regardless.
***** its called Dice Rolls....its part of the reason that morrowind was considered immersive because it actually put a use on the ingame skills instead of just being a useless part of the game that you grind to unlock trivial upgrades (skyrim)
i really cant enjoy skyrim's combat system, its so fucking clunky... i honestly believe Oblivion had the better combat system of the three, i prefer the old dice rolls of morrowind just for my old school nostalgic mind but oblivion had the best combat system in my opinion
I've never been a fan of dice rolls in video games, unless it's a turn based strat or some adaptation of a tabletop game. The thing that bothered me most about skyrim's combat was the floatiness of weapons, nothing had any weight and hitting a person 4 or 5 times with a sword with little effect is kind of immersion breaking for me. I'd love some kind of game where weapons impact realistically and cause actual harm. That way you could be killed by any opponent of any level, and your survival would be guaranteed by your own skill rather than stats and 'levels'. But I realise that that's kind of a pipe dream, hardware limitations being what they are. Some time in the future perhaps.
Battlespire is basically survival horror in a neutral realm of oblivion marons Dagon has invaded to take over the imperial battlespire that trains the empires elite force until you have to destroy it saving tamriel from Dagon which is the first time it happend elder scrolls style so bashing enemy heads in with a weapon and redgaurd is a small adventure game taking place on stros ma Kai (sorry if I miss spelt that) in the close end of the second era it has a famous battle which you can read a book about the battle in one of the games or just watch shoddy casts redgaurds lore video
I thought the ESO song was a disappointment until I got to 15:10. Very nice work on compiling these together! :D I heard another guy did this as well but his version of Redguard was actually a *LOT* shorter then this.... Glad you made this! Ty!
All I want is to visit all the places we can in Tamriel, even on other places on Nirn. Like the place where the Nords came from and so forth, and after all that which will take a LONG time, virtual reality will let us all come together in one massive VRMMORPG of all of Nirn where we all come together for one last epic adventure.
+Etrius Dragnox Where we all die irl while playing VR ESO :).....there is an episode of X-files where i think mulder see a hardcore NET-fan die IRL "dehydrated" while being in VR :)
Wouldn't be that big of a surprise honestly. John Williams has been accused many, many, many time of stealing music from others for songs in Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Jurassic Park and other movies.
Seeing the evolution of the themes, I can't wait for them to come out with a new game. If the epic-ness of it follows this trend, it would be guaranteed and Grammy.
It's so interesting seeing all the Elder Scrolls games and how they grew and evolved over time, looking at the side games as well as the main storyline, seeing how Morrowind became the flag ship for the much bigger, more streamlined games compared to the originals. I can't pick any one game as my favorite, the music is always amazing across all of them. I would LOVE to see more Elder Scrolls Legends and Adventures as well.
They had the same composer do the themes for TEO 3-5, and he did the same theme with different instruments and it tied the series together by having the games relate to eachother, even in the themes
Me favorites are Skyrim Morrowind possibly Daggerfall never played it but looks fun Oblivion is goodish I don't really like it to play it long anyway and maybe just maybe Redguard
Skyrim is a damn clever game, every other game you weren't 'unique' as such (As far as I know) just some random prisioner who saved a place... In skyrim however, you get to beat the shit out of people with your voice. It's like a baiting system I guess, you're made a normal guy/gal, then suddenly your the Dovehkiin of ledgend. Also, dragons... there are dragons...
The Battlespire theme is quite awesome. I also like how the Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim themes are the same, but each one changed slightly to fit the theme of the game.
Cody bolt-smith YOU IMPERIALS WITH YOUR FALSE PROMISES! WE KNOW AS SOON AS YOU GET ENOUGH STRENGTH TO STAND AGAINST THE THALMOR, YOU WILL TURN YOUR BACK ON SKYRIM.
Why do you think I was crossing the southern border? Way to clingy, and they all know magic too if you try to get away. Skyrim bitch's shun magic uses so it's a good trade off.
Jesus christ, the elder scrolls online theme is AWFUL. Like you listen to all the others and appreciate how beautiful, nostalgic and original they are but then the ESO theme plays and it doesnt even sound like it came from the elder scrolls it sounded like a mix of Skyrim's worst combat music and music from world of warcraft.
While I agree that it's not the best, saying it's worse than the first ones clearly shows you are blinded by nostalgia. Those sound really not great. I didn't like or remember even one before Morrowind. On the other hand, I have no idea what this is, I haven't heard it once in ESO XD
I remember hearing Morrowind's theme the first time during the installing screen. It just blew me away. I was in ah. I never had a greater feeling in my else.
Dhockedy Gaming ESO is an MMORPG that had some lore/story justification thrown together for the sake of having some sort of tale to tell. It is not, however, something that was ever mentioned or happened in the real/original pre-ESO timeline. It is, in other words, forced into the original timeline for the sake of the illusion of a story. As samuel said: ESO never happened, not in the world of Tamriel nor in the real world as far as I'm concerned. It wasn't even made by Bethesda entirely. It was made by Zenimax to mislead those who wanted a multiplayer Elder Scrolls and get some money off of it. Go ask actual Bethesda staff, the guys who created the other games. They don't even want to remember it exists. If you want to say it happened, I accept an alternate dimention where it did happen, but it does not belong and has no place in the real timeline.
***** I still stand by my statment dispite your argument, The problem is less with lore and more with feel. Both redguard and spire both felt like and elderscrolls game. ESO is just another MMO with a nice paint job. There are some great MMO,s like WoW but there are manny verry similar that it becomes hard to tell them arpart. They traded some of the es art style to go for a more MMO like one. It also abuses its position of being a spin off by leaving information out of its own lore as its already in the seirease. Overall I cant see its as an ES game that we have come to know and love. I also cant see it as a good MMO. Thats my reason for not liking it. Not to mesion the BULLSHIT pre order bonuses.
^NutcasE^ Nah, not complete. It's gotten twice as good in the last year but I won't lie it's got a lot of stupidly counter-intuitive design choices. But, like. The game is playable. I mostly use it for Roleplay, tbh.
Captain Lackwit Man, youre a noob. cant you tell that is 16-bit music? WHICH would have been the style at the time of the release of the matching game, Arena. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOB!
Damn, Areana theme is like other generic RPG of the same era D:. Daggerfall theme is simply beutiful. It's like some sort of stage play's theme. Screw battlespire. I will never get to play it now so I'm bitter. Redguard's theme sounds like older JRPG's lol. Final Fantasy or anime game. Morrowind's beautiful again. The song itself sounds like it's trying to tell us a grand, epic story or something, like something from fantasy war movies. Oblivion's is meh. -_- Really disappointing. What went wrong with this game soundtact. Even battlespire is more listenable than these. Skyrim's is EPIC. It's cleary about some kind of legendary, mythical, hero, direct to the theme.
leeux If I remember correctly, Battlespire is an MMORPG game that Bethesda open their server for people to play in for a short period of time, but since the server has long been closed, you can't really play it anymore, even through piracy and emulation software.
Ah, the network side of battlespire is dead... yeah, I understand that. But the single player side still works, I have it... In fact, I bought it recently on GOG and it works very well. And I think someone said that the network mode still works on a LAN with some tweaking to the DOSBOX config, but yeah, it doesn't work through internet without 3rd party software as you said.
It is, I remember raiding a bandit hideout and hearing the drums in the beginning, it scared the hell out of me at first, but the music gave me a sense of belonging in the game. The music in Morrowind is very immersing, as-well as the sound effects.
I like the fact that the theme songs are linked, it lets you know hey this is elder scrolls and each one has changed due to the time period the game takes place.. Morrowind is almost like the basis for the "new theme" and is more relaxed and just cool and builds up at the end. Oblivion is more chaotic because Tamriel is being invaded. Skyrim starts off with the manly nord chanting telling the story of the dragonborn and then ends with the beautiful slow bit that sounds like, well, Skyrim.
Just burst out laughing at the cover art of the first game shown. Dat bikini armor. +100000000 defense.
lol
+Metalks
Those days when Bethsoft made skimpy outfits for women...
Today the community makes the skimpy ones while the Vanillas are normal :P
+Metalks Well, the first game was technically (from what I can perceive) the very first era of Tamriel. Think of it as a tribal outfit. :)
Oh, okay. Sorry for the misinformation!
I like how every hero starts off as the most pathetic form of existence in being a prisoner and rises to become one of the most legendary and respected heroes in their world.
Lmao true
It's called the Hero's Journey its used in most stories through the centuries and around the world
I like how every hero in their world seems to just sort of come from nowhere, its like they were litrally sent from the gods
SunnyNutQueerios
Who did you think sent them?
christian hlol The gods, lol... I just think its cool
Arena: **FANTASY PLOT**
Daggerfall: Plan and Prepare
Battlespire: Everyone dies!
Redguard: **PIRATES**
Morrowind: Wonder and Beauty
Oblivion: Danger and Mystery
Skyrim: *SKYRIM BELONGS TO THE NORDS!*
ESO: **CHORUS**
REDGUARD TAKES UP MORE THAN HALF LOL
they only had eight songs, gotta make them last
And they did not even show all of Daggerfall's theme. wtf
The redguard theme makes me want to go on an epic adventure
same
More like go be a swashbuckling pirate with a cutlass in your hand looking for treasure, raid ships, and pillage towns, while drinking rum.
When Daggerfall came out everyone that got it (me included) thought it looked like real life now I'm laughing at myself
Hell, I thought Skyrim had incredible graphics back in 2011. Things have gotten so much better over the past 6 years.
Really? Back then I would have said good graphics but real life?
the arena theme is incredibly underrated. I'm surprised nobody even made an extended version.
First time hearing the Redguard theme and I've never played it. It really sounds like some pirate/corsair thing. That would have made an awesome game setting.
Thats exactly what it is.
It was interesting. Though it was also infuriating how easily you could die.
chickenpsycho68
The Elder Scrolls: Windwaker?
***** indeed
Lol it is about pirates, you play as a Redgaurd. I forgot the storyline, I think it is like saving your sister or something?
The Elder Scrolls has to be the greatest gaming franchise of all time for me...
Jigsaw0097 Id say knight of the old republic beats it
Fallout 1-2-NV boi
I'd say Kingdom Hearts is the greatest games ever made
I know this comment is 6 years old but I wanted to say that I completely and utterly agree. To the point that I became a serious collector too.

Jcmaster0452 You can fix ALL OF THOSE with mods. Seriously the elder scrolls modding community are Gods.
Omg I know, have you tried SkyrimRedone and Frostfall? They are great mods and Skyrim Redone is HUGE!
Those weren't the best examples, there are literally tens of thousands of mods. I love PC gaming :)
VikingPotatoes The only issue I see with essentially making a new game from mods is that there's only so much you can do. Morrowind is still probably one of the best games I've ever played
And Elder Scrolls Online is the exact opposite I think Elder Scrolls Online is the worst Elder Scrolls game made
i wish i could play morrowind more easier. without questmarkers i usually have to watch a guide on how to do the quests, which makes it kind hard to enjoy it
daggerfall: prepare to experience your new obsession
Ebola It could be said about all of the Elder Scrolls games
Bethesda knew the franchise would become better
i don't even care that the Redguard theme takes up so much time. it is fucking beautiful. they all are. even the midi.
Morrowind>Skyrim>>ES:O>Oblivion>Daggerfall>Arena>Battlespire>Redguard
My favorite themes.
... That's all of them...
Hahaha
No shit Sherlock.
Oblivion>Morrowind>Skyrim>Daggerfall>Arena>Battlespire>ES:O>Redguard
People always think it's weird Oblivion is my favorite... but there are a lot of reasons for me. I'm surprised it isn't favorites for a lot more people.
honestly, I only thumbed you up for your absolutely insanely positively hilarious beyond all belief youtube name. Baaaaaallin, Jarl Ballin.......SWAG
John Salas Potato faces? How so?
Yeah ! I love The Elder Scrolls
I love the oblivion theme
Please, don't cry, please don't cry.
Shit, I cried.
attifiet I cried too... then ESO theme came on. >:(
The ESO theme was amazing
***** Hello No, Skyrim All Day
Satans Fetus Legs That name though.......................................................
Satans Fetus Legs you can't even buy slaves in arena, how can you say that.
Notice how Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim themes are similiar.
They share the same rhythm, just played in various ways and speed.
It's because Morrowind is the theme song of Elder Scrolls now.
Alpha agreed.
MrKatakatt and the best of them all as far as theme and arguably gameplay
That's because it is the same melody with variations between the versions. For instance - Oblivion's theme has a build-up style intro and Skyrim has a singing chorus.
Criomorph True. The choir in Dragonborn made the theme more viking-like.
The orchestra in Reign of the Septims sound like there's a great adventure to save Tamriel as Uriel has depicted,
all aboard the nostalgia bus, we are going on a feel trip
Who else want a morrowind remastered edition
me!!!!
whats morrowind like (still getting used to the series)
Morrowind is one of the most popular of all of the elder scrolls series, just go play yourself it's epic :)
I would like something crazy like black marsh or valenwood, something harsh, with an optional survival element.
Skywind should be pretty good!
9:20 So many memories
Same, this is my all-time favourite game.
11:08 for me
Dennis Visser yeah oblivion is were I Began
i like how its the theme builds at every game. like its progressing and getting better.
Redguard theme is looooooooooooooooong
Daggerfall: On the bottom- Prepare to experience your new obsession.
Its painfully correct.
Arena is addicting but Daggerfall is even more addicting!
I just got those games for PC today (except battlespire, redguard, and online) I have played skyrim and oblivion and beaten them
Why the hell does Redguards' theme take up half the damn video?
It just works~ Todd Howard
I was about to say that
Oblivion was my first elderscrolls game but i went back and played all of them before skyrim all of them are amazing however morrowind/oblivion are definitly the best.
Holy crap Redguard is so lonnnnnnnng
Yeah, but its pretty, so does that matter XD
Redguard. Still as good as they come.
Holy crap! Redguards theme song is wayyy too long!
Yeah it's really fat. They should short it down. It looks that the kept getting ideas about the song.
It's still very nice though.
I never heard "The Elder Scrolls Adventures Redguard"''s theme till now. And I think I fell in love
To me: arena, daggerfall, battle spire,REEEEEDDDDDDDGGGGUUUUUUAAARRRRRRDDDDDDDDDDD, *Morrowind*, oblivSKYRIM
The first time, I really hear all the video, but in my mind was:
-Arena
-Daggerfall
-BattleSpire
-Redguard-Redguard-Redguard-Redguard-Redguard-Redguard-Redguard-Redguard...
-MORROWIND obliSKYRIM i didn't feel oblivion's music
:(
You keep the entire damn red gaurs theme but you shorten skyrims's?!
Morrowind, the sound track to forgotten high school homework
I just noticed that the "Skyrim" theme you used is when you fight the Dragon, it's not the actual theme.
Yep, you and the 3,000 other people that noticed it in the last two years lol. That's why I added a link at that point in the video to the full theme.
That dragon is the Word Eater, Alduin. Pfft, the dragon. This one is a god... That you kill with repeated slaps to the face.
+Kevin B Even so, the song you used it much more boombastic and better in every way!
+Stephen Connolly The Word Eater. Now that's a serious enemy to the grammar nazis.
Noble98 good catch, never even noticed!
Thank you for putting this up, I've been looking for something like this.
I'd want a remade TES Redguard or a new official TES game taking place in Hammerfell.
Same here. If the put in High Rock too.
Hunter Brown ALL of Hammerfell with ALL of High Rock and Stros M'Kai DLC :D
Mother of god...
***** It is just not the same xD
It is a really big difference if you are traveling through an MMO or a SingePlayer RPG ^^
The graphics are different and the map isn't as big as it could be ... not to say that you are not as linear in a SingePlayer Open World game as in a Open World MMO ^^
***** Not the entirety of High Rock yet.
I still get chills every time i hear those first low notes of the Oblivion theme, been playing it for like 4 years, still get back into the game every so often
Why don't people seem to like Redguard's theme. I think its really epic.

I agree. Redgaurd's theme is definitely my favorite of the ones Jeremy Soule didn't compose. Personally, I think battle spire is the most uninspired of them.
The Redguard is pretty nice - its like a 1980's fantasy movie soundtrack. :D
thanks dude this helps alot and cuts down on my effort having to switch between all the main songs
I'm not sure why, but Redguard's theme feels amazing. It feels lighthearted and fun, compared to the other themes.
Maybe because the box art and the music makes you feel like swashbuckling pirate.
All of these songs sound like they are telling a story
Music? Morrowind
Peaks?
Daggerfall - flying over wall at night, four daedric vampiric katanas on the cart, beautiful sound of snow under the feet, huuuge dungeons, Lich
Morrowind - Foyada Mamaca, Mushroom-houses, Silt striders, lamp (all of them on my house in Balmora :)), Ogre, Jobasha rare books and, of course, one fool trying to reach the skies :D
Oblivion - best voices, day routines and reactions of the folk, scenery, inside the painters picture
Skyrim - fog lurking through the trees, pilgrimage to High Hrothgar, deer-headed folk, fauna-in-the-jar, elder tree

Thunder Squeak yeah well who cares
I do. Because I'm a nerd. :P
Morrowind sounds like it tell a sad story of a solider. Oblivion sound like an old solider telling a story of a very brutal WAR. and Skyrims theme tells a story of a Hero fighting and died in a War
Love how hes kept the three themes connected!
"The Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall
Prepare to meet your new obsession!"
Bethesda said it, not me.
Someone needs to try and remake the older games in Skyrim.
Yes! I totally agree.
Someone already is.
When listening to Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim theme, I've always said, yeah, and I'm in the world of epic battles and epic story where anyone can be what he wants and where he wants to be, all in a breathtaking world of his time.
The ESO theme is incorrect. I feel you should know after the 2 year anniversary of this video...
They reworked the ESO theme so often. He should not have put the theme in there anyway since the game was in a very early state of development back then
OneGamingLp im so pumPed for eso
b@k0n w01f It comes out on April 4th. It's almost here. :)
Well im not.
A Fallout or singleplayer TES would have been better because thats what ESO fans want~
OneGamingLp Speaking as someone who generally despises MMOs and the like, I can say that TESO is actually really good as a game. It takes a bit to get past the initial bindings from the prison of MMO boredom. That being said, when you're past it, you're in a beautiful place.

gladly you can improve skyrims difficult with mods, you should defintily get into it, its a 2.0 experience.
PastryImplosion Play Dark Souls
Is it bad if I never heard of Battlespire or Redguard until I saw this video?
No
Not at all. Them two "games" weren't actual numbered ES games like ES:O so they don't really count as big ES games 😄
Sorry for my writing I don't write big stuff often I keep forgetting my punctuation and fullstops
No I think that Bethesda wants us to forget about them anyway
I thought the ESO song was a disappointment until I got to 15:10. Very nice work on compiling these together! :D I heard another guy did this as well but his version of Redguard was actually a *LOT* shorter then this.... Glad you made this! Ty!
All I want is to visit all the places we can in Tamriel, even on other places on Nirn. Like the place where the Nords came from and so forth, and after all that which will take a LONG time, virtual reality will let us all come together in one massive VRMMORPG of all of Nirn where we all come together for one last epic adventure.
So you are saying ESO but instead of only all tamriel you want all of nirn? That would be awesome and it would have a sh
ip exploration system to get to the different continents. Also your vrmmorpg idea is actually really easy to do in ESO as I have played ES
O in vr
+Etrius Dragnox Where we all die irl while playing VR ESO :).....there is an episode of X-files where i think mulder see a hardcore NET-fan die IRL "dehydrated" while being in VR :)
I guess it turns out that if you die in real life you die in the game too then. XD
I think that the redguard theme can break the world's longest game theme record!!!!
I love how you need to link the full skyrim theme, but you put the 10 minute redguard theme in.
I had no idea that BattleSpire or Radgaurd existed till watching this video!!! +2 TES Games. *Woop-Woop*
it really does sound like some of star wars ep. 2 music was stolen from daggerfall
Wouldn't be that big of a surprise honestly. John Williams has been accused many, many, many time of stealing music from others for songs in Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Jurassic Park and other movies.
Lion_Turtle And Jeremy Soule is known for being the "John Williams of Game Music".
9:21 My heart shuddered
Redguards is way too long.
But its amazing so...
Its not that good, its not as catchy as the latest elder scrolls games.
Yes, indeed!
Redguard was 2 songs.
it took up over half of this video. 8 minutes and 41 seconds! XD
I remember when I always went to my friends house, me and him would take turns playing Arena and Daggerfall. Good times :)
Wow, Redguard's theme is long.
I just finished my first play through of all five main Elder Scrolls in a row on PC wow a long journey. but, the most EPIC journey of them all!
Dovahkiin is just a remake of Regin of the septims. and Regin of the Septims is just a remake of Nerevar Rising. There all very similar songs.
Thank you for stating the obvious. How dare any game do that, such as Mario or Zelda
It felt like the redguard theme was completely refusing to end
So I want to know what your favorite elder scrolls theme song is
your addicted kadin
Shut up -I know XD-
hey its okay not
Tanner Boucher wow tanner XD
how do you do the line thing like this -hi-
thanks for posting these man 😀
Which game is the best?
strawpoll.me/978613
Depends on your taste...
Mazinkaiser Z Right. And I'm curious about people's tastes.
Jotak For me it's Battlespire....
Seeing the evolution of the themes, I can't wait for them to come out with a new game. If the epic-ness of it follows this trend, it would be guaranteed and Grammy.
What about Bloodmoon and Tribunal??!!!
They are DLC not standalone games
Weren't they just add-on/expansion type things?
DLCs. And yes they were
Daniel Jones I ain't a n00b anymore. I know about that.
I love redguard theme. it feels like you are in a whole different realm, one where assassin's creed 4 never took place.
I can't hear how Arena's theme is the Elder Scrolls theme. Is it not?
Edi: Nevermind, a lot of them don't share the theme. :(
What the heck, Redguard! Shut up!
Patrick Star No you racist! LONG LIVE REDGUARDS AND HAMMERFELL! FUCK THE ALDMERI DOMINION AND NORDS!
Patrick calm down go eat a crabby patty
WOOD ELVES WILL ALWAYS RULE!
and Khajiits, don´t forget the Khajiits! :3
Can't wait for ESO to come out!
Doesn't have Elder Scrolls Travels
Unsubscribed
Jason Fenton Do TES Travels even have a soundtrack?
No clue, I didn't even know they existed until a few weeks ago
Jason Fenton lol
Jason Fenton lol
EpicFantasyGamer lol?
Battlespire is fuckin sick
Holy crap the Redguard theme is long!
It's the worst video game theme ever.
I wouldn't say the worst but it isn't that great
Eddie Gruver right!!
Haha, Battlespire sounds like a crappy Bowser's Castle theme.
I thought it was pretty sick.
FlintSparked kinda right
So sad... I'm really in tears and down on my knees.... because of the arrow..
The Redguard theme its very long .-.
It's actually 2 songs.
If I one day play Daggerfall I'm gonna play Daggerxl
Tali'Zorah Vas Morrow Have fun waiting for it to come out.
soundtea
I think i will thanx
Shadow broker Daggerfall is freeware on bethesda's site. dont wait, just go download it its like 10mb
Has a foreboding gothic horror feel to it.
I hope Bethesda makes TES VI. I never got excited about ESO... didn't feel like Elders Scrolls game with those pre-rendered trailers and other crap.
they will dont worry
theres alote of things they havent covered upyet
btw the guys who made the eso game itself isnt bethesda
Mavericks® DCUO yeah, it was the money loving ZeniMax who made it
fuck zenimax
nope. fallout 4 first
Miss Elsweyr, Mr. Khajit?
you forgot the The Elder Scrolls Travels: Shadowkey for the Nokia N-Gage
Stormcloaks or
or imperial? LONG LIVE ULFRIC
TALOS IS ALL YOU NEED! TRUST IN HEIMSKR!
WE ONLY OPPOSE TALOS WORSHIP TILL WE HAVE ENOUGH STRENGTH TO LEVEL THE THALMOR! WE WILL RSTORE ORDER TO TAMRIEL!
Cody bolt-smith YOU IMPERIALS WITH YOUR FALSE PROMISES! WE KNOW AS SOON AS YOU GET ENOUGH STRENGTH TO STAND AGAINST THE THALMOR, YOU WILL TURN YOUR BACK ON SKYRIM.
Cody bolt-smith Fair point. Everybody loves the Skyrim bitches. I hear they don't look as well back in Cyrodil.
Why do you think I was crossing the southern border? Way to clingy, and they all know magic too if you try to get away. Skyrim bitch's shun magic uses so it's a good trade off.
We should colonise Akavir in the next game, it worked great the first time!
Jimmy but its not the theme.
I remember hearing Morrowind's theme the first time during the installing screen. It just blew me away. I was in ah. I never had a greater feeling in my else.
ESO never happend guys dont worry.
ESO is good you ass
Dhockedy Gaming never happend.
Dhockedy Gaming It's a good MMO but it will never be an elder scrolls game
I could listen to Arena's theme for days at a time.
WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT!!!
Ubisoft?
What?
Yep unfortunately...
It's because the European version was published by Ubisoft
Ahh, My favourite will always be Oblivion, and that's that! :P
That's not ESO's theme. Some of these themes aren't even correct. ESO's theme is SO much cooler than that poo-pile.
This was made back when ESO's trailer was barely released. Obviously it's developed since 3 years ago
Yeah. it got RADICAL.
Captain Lackwit Too bad the game itself is complete carbage.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOB!
i subscribed because of this vid, thanks dude
If you don't mind me asking, what do you mean "Never get to play it" in referring to Battlespire?
leeux
If I remember correctly, Battlespire is an MMORPG game that Bethesda open their server for people to play in for a short period of time, but since the server has long been closed, you can't really play it anymore, even through piracy and emulation software.
Ah, the network side of battlespire is dead... yeah, I understand that.
But the single player side still works, I have it... In fact, I bought it recently on GOG and it works very well.
And I think someone said that the network mode still works on a LAN with some tweaking to the DOSBOX config, but yeah, it doesn't work through internet without 3rd party software as you said.
leeux
Seriously ? Thx for the information. I'll look into it.
oblivion has the best music in all of the games.
It is, I remember raiding a bandit hideout and hearing the drums in the beginning, it scared the hell out of me at first, but the music gave me a sense of belonging in the game. The music in Morrowind is very immersing, as-well as the sound effects.
HOT GIRL ON ARENA!!!!
Why do kids like you always point out the obvious?
*****
Hehe
@PrineTF96 " It's not the destination that matters, it's the trip that takes you there, and what a long, strange, trip it's been."
Hail ulfric stormcloak!
LONG LIVE THE EMPIRE
i was an adventurer like you until i took an arrow in the knee
Omegacrafteris xD ahaha
LONG LIVE ULFRIC
ALL HAIL THE 6th HOUSE OF MORROWIND!!!!!
