Honestly even most of the slice of life and romance isekais have some form of skill levelling up mentioned. Ascendance of a Bookworm might be a real oddity! I'll rack my Isekai brains though and see what I can do

Drifting dragons... I wanted to love it off the art style... but realized it is straight up Japanese whaling recruitment material. Even down to the “no one likes us poor drakers anymore” monologue in the beginning. Once I realized all the characters wear the uniforms of the modern Japanese whaling force I sold all my volumes... Only time I’ve ever done that. Overall awesome haul! Haven’t checked out fire force yet but man the perfect editions of soul eater have some WILD art in them! If you’re a really big Fairy Tale fan I’m sure you’re aware of Eden’s Zero, but the last few volumes of that have been fire. Also your collection is absolute goals holy hell! /sick sweater
Ah yes! I remember selling my copy of Yuuna, just cause I wasn’t gonna continue it anytime soon, but I do remember it was a good read haha ... I still have the first few volumes of Yokai Girls so I’ll likely continue that one lol Right? I was so suprised that TokyoPop started printing again - I mean I had heard they still printed in other languages/ countries, but it’s nice to see them come back as an English publisher Overall a really good haul! I enjoyed watching 😊

Tokyopop was such a surprise!! I too knew they still printing in a think Germany but this was quite lovely to see!! It turned into a fast paced read everything quickly so I can get to the next thing 😂
@@Caketinz Lmao I can totally see that, I’ll prolly be like that when my next set of volumes come in for June 🙌 - But yeah I recall Tokyo pop started with some Disney sorta collabs and as they were successful in selling some series I suppose started to produce more. I’ve noticed they are mostly doing Yaoi, Yuri, Disney (kids) and their speciality releases from woman writers around the world. I really hope they can eventually continue/ complete some of the series they had to drop before but we’ll see haha

From my understanding the anime has only recently started airing which likely plays a big part in it. And a number of people I know who enjoy Fairy Tail didn't get into it until it was well through publishing already whereas in comparison Eden's Zero isn't that far in. Maybe? 😅
