I'm loving Witch Hat Atelier so far! I got stuck on the cliffhanger at the end of volume 2 for so long because I couldn't find volume 3 until recently, but now that I have it I can't wait to dive back into this story. :)
Loved the second angle! Your pick ups are always so fun to see especially the mystery quality used book packages. Also no shame in loving reverse harems, they're *chef's kiss*
I am actually super excited that more of the manga volumes are doing colored spines (or that's what it seems to me) because one of the things that annoys me about some manga is how same they look next to each other. When the font of the title/spine color is different, it is a good affect.
Great haul as always! I like picking up secondhand volumes but I feel like American libraries and UK libraries are quite different. Mine always arrive with lots of stickers and are quite battered. And we don't have that removable plastic cover. But I'm not too bothered as long as I can read them! I picked up yotsuba, arslan, and Dragonball volumes secondhand recently and they're all pretty battered. Hahaha oh well.
I just finished High-Rise invasion!! Enjoyed it and can attest that the horror aspect does not last for long once the world gets more developed. Cant wait to hear your thoughts :)))
Not sure if I'd call Your Lie in April 'sad'. It will definitely make you cry, sure. (Especially if you also decide to watch the anime which has amazing music) But anyways, I feel like Your Lie in April is more bittersweet than sad, and it also has many happy moments that will make you just smile.
I’ve had similar problems with wob however customer service is usually quite good so you can get a refund or a different volume of similar value if they can’t send a replacement
You should check The anime for Mars Red. I heard that is very different from the manga (so different that i didnt knew it had A manga), but i most tell you that is very good.
