you’re going to love tokyo ghoul! it can be quite gruesome, depending on what you see gruesome as, but wow the art is gorgeous and the story is magnificent! it’s in my top 5 of favourite manga series. i really do hope you enjoy it!

@@mgy2k6 the anime just does NOT do this series justice. you could call it an organised mess in some way?? it’s very jumpy and hard to follow though. it gets even worse with tokyo ghoul:re. my god, the anime is painful to watch but the manga is *chefs kiss.* it‘s a great example of when anime’s butcher the original manga series 😔 i’m never too picky about my anime but if they ruin a manga series i hold close to my heart, expect me to not like it. i could never hate it like how i hate yarichin, but it’s definitely not a favourite anime of mine. i could probably watch season 1 if i was really bored, but season 2.... yeah no (the op SLAPS though)

i lowkey thought it sucked i just wasnt interested in the story and didnt care about the characters imo it was my first manga with tpn i am glad that i got tpn on that day too cuz i would not have bought any more manga if i only got toky ghoul i do really love tpn (the promised neverland)
i can’t believe pierrot just butchered an amazing anime like that. i thought they were good, since they made Naruto. the manga is awesome and definitely worth reading.

This is completely random but like, on the barns and noble website if u go to the promised neverland vol 1 in the ratings someone said “great for kids bedtime stories!!!!!”
It even says one of her kids are crying after reading it but she says its “happy” crying- 😓
I mean, I’m not much better putting on Forensic Files so my little brother can fall asleep faster for his nap, then again I’ve never read the promised neverland so I don’t know what happens in that series 🤷
@ONG ZHI EN Moe the Promised Neverland is about orphans who live happily until one of the kids finds out they're being raised as demon food so they make a plan to escape! I heard the ending was bad but I think it's still worth reading.

I love TG so much. The story, its themes and the characters are amazing but the art is what sold me. Breathtaking imo. Sui Ishida is so talented. I'm not a huge fan of gore but TG's wasn't hard to "disgest" so I'd still recommend it to more sensitive people.

Vinland Saga is an amazing story. I'm currently reading the manga but the anime is so good. It's from wit studio and you can tell that by how good the animation and the ost are. I recommend watching s1 and also reading the manga. 🔥

The anime adaption for tokyo ghoul was awesome, it got confusing season 3, but it isn’t as bad as people are making it out to be.
Idk bro I had the same mind set when I watched it but in hindsight after finishing the whole series it was a cluster fuck overall and like I haven’t read the manga but the anime made no sense starting with season 3 part 2 and just had a gross edgy feel by the end for me
last year i bought the box set and....90% of what happened in season 2 didn't happen at all it's a complete mess

I finished Tokyo Ghoul anime before I started to collect manga and all I could get was old books that turned yellow :'( They were translated version from the publisher here in my country. That boxset looks very nice!! Maybe I should try to look for it on Amazon too.

it might be scary to start vinland saga considering it’s an “elitist manga” but it’s a fun ride. but don’t make the same mistake i did, which was only focusing on thorfinn (the mc). It’s one of those manga where the story is the main thing. and to top it off it has great artwork and it has a beautiful anime adaptation by the same studio that did aot.
