I was a soldier, I will never say I was sorry I was a soldier. I went thru some bad times, saw friends die, saw friends receive horrible wounds. I was a Soldier, and I am Proud that I was a Soldier.
Thank you for service & sacrifice. If I may, I would like to offer a small correction: in my humble opinion, no one who served with honor should ever say he/she WAS a soldier. You might not still be in, but you still ARE a "soldier" & you always will be. That is a title of honor, you've earned it, and I respect & envy you for it. God bless.
For all the future soldiers out there your about to make a bond that will last a lifetime and thank you for choosing the military you are the heros you are the people who will make the world right you just signed your life away to your country like me. That takes personal courage one of the army values
I listened to this exact clip when I was 23 years old right before I left for basic training to join the US Army. I could barely run and had no idea what I was made of. It has now been 6 years since that day, I currently just finished a run here in Australia. I am now an E6 looking at making E7 soon. This speech motivates me more than it did then. Keep fucking pushing, it’s the only way you’ll know. 💪🏻
It's been a dream of mine to join the military since I was a kid. I'm now 25 and I still want to join. I'm overweight and my family and friends always tell me I can't do it, that I'll quit. I recently started working out and sometimes I do feel like quitting but I remind myself this is something if always wanted to do, sometimes I do have my doubts but not only do I want to prove my family and friends but I also want to prove myself that i can accomplish my dreams. I will try my hardest and give it my all. One day I will be in the military

I'm 62 and never served in the military. I am proud to be an American and thankful beyond measure for the good people who serve our country and keep us free. I feel pain when I think of those who died or were injured in any way while protecting me from the evils of the world. I feel for their families and hope they know how much not only me but millions more like me appreciate what they have had to endure. I may not wear a uniform but I do have a flag. I've always been a troubled kid (never got in trouble with police) so I think the structure will help me fix that problem. I am so excited... I will be done with school by may '15 and I just can NOT wait! I have so many goals for myself, it's unreal.
Me too, I'm only 12 and a Cadet, but I will try my hardest to achieve my goals, I also want to be a Basketballer but it's Scotland so maybe. I'm joining when I'm 16.
I was a medic 68W for 7yrs, it's a tough school about half of your class will not make it through or atleast in my day they didnt but we also still had Drill Sergeants in AIT. It's a great field, awesome people, medics are known as a pretty wild bunch and promotions come slow unless you really put in the effort. You'll get the best duty assignments as a medic, I was in South Korea, Belgium, Texas (3x) Im from Texas so a plus, Afghanistan, Germany, and finished my career back where I started at the home of the medic Fort Sam Houston. I have stories for days and now most of my friends are military even though I'm out I stayin touch with all of my friends, actually my roomate was a buddy I served with, so you'll make strong loyal bonds. Goodluck, just remember a 68w is only a emt-b in the civi world, and now that i'm out i want nothing to do with medicine anymore, though I was good, trained by a special forces medic turned PA for a couple of years and through my deployment, Im a dude so I got lucky and got to deploy with the infantry as their medic, which is what all male medics should aspire too.
Thank you so much for giving me the insight and a lot of things to think about. It's nice hearing from medics themselves. I really hope I can get it. Sounds so exciting. I want a challenge too :)
The army is fun depending on your unit alot of 68w I know like there job but hate when they gotta go to the field and pull support when it's only 5 days long cause of all the stuff you gotta bring and set up
I'm 16 waiting to turn 17 to join the army infantry, army is the only thing that matters to me my grandfather served I wanna be like him and honor him I must and I will 🇺🇸💯
This is one of the greatest videos honoring the US Army, in fact everyone who has served our great nation. I formerly and proudly served with the 82nd Airborne Div. God bless America !
Honor, respect, love of country, god bless all that have served and are serving. May those that paid the price of our freedom to today never be forgotten. Honor their memories by treating people the way YOU want to be treated. God bless America.
If you are a fighting military person you should first be a warrior that knows no boundaries or limitations in a accomplishing the mission you have been assigned, when you have accomplished that mission then you are a champion. it is earned not awarded.
I think this is THE BEST motivational video for joining the army EVER! Weather your joining, deploying, or in the battlefield. Watching this makes me feel like I can run through a fucking wall! I cant wait until I ship to BCT!
I AM A UNITED STATES SOLDIER AND THOUGH I HAVE BEEN SENT TO TAKE MY PLACE AS A UNITED STATES VETERAN, I WILL NEVER LET MT OATH STOP!! WHO AM I??? I'M A UNITED STATES ARMY VETERAN AND I WILL NEVER LET MY OATH STOP!!! I LOVE MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN ARMS AND TOGETHER WE STAND TO PROTECT AND FIGHT!!!
I remembered I watched this video before and I enlisted. I'm glad I did because it helped carry me through BCT. Today I graduated BCT and here I am watching it again.
jared alves. Our victory cries are rather quiet until you hear a Butt Stomping B-52, B-1, B-2, A-10, F-22, etc.,etc.,etc, etc............. fly and roar overhead and you won't be able to hear a Oorah or whatever for a long time. Don't Jack with my United States "Chair" Force. Just us imagine tearing stuff up - all while we are sitting down - yeah while sitting down - we will blow your face clean off (terrorists that is) PERIOD. Remember we also do well standing up - crew dog aircraft maintenance, forces command, combat rescue, combat control, sere instructors, etc.,etc.,etc.,etc................. Also don't jack with my Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, and my Coast Guard. PERIOD. USAF Retired Master Sergeant - 24 years.
To the 174 people to dislike this video, how dare you have the guts to dislike the very people that protect YOUR ass daily? These men and women risk THEIR lives for US! We should show them the same damn respect. They fight for OUR freedom.
Zach, lest we NEVER forget that these 174 people who have for whatever reason disliked this video, can do so without fear of reprisal or imprisonment, torture and even death BECAUSE of our fighting men and women of the United States Armed Forces. FREEDOM GOES BOTH WAYS MY FELLOW BROTHER-IN-ARMS..........
I almost cried, when I hear these powerful words. I went to the dessert and loved it. I love my country, I would do anything to protect and defend against all enemies foreigner and domestic. I would love to go back. those dayssss waoo.
Daniel Simentales so what we are technically a middle person as we are USA's ally and simultaneously russias , we are Israel's ally and so is middle east our ally . Kindly go through defence pact of india and usa.
+madhav muralidharan HOOAH! Thank you sir from an U.S. Army Soldier. I love India. The UK screwed over India for a few hundred years. I'm blessed that the United States founding Fathers kicked them out of our country.
This is really true. The United States of America has the best military in the world. Now let us not seem weak in the hope for peace. There will be times where peace can only be achieved through violence. God bless the United States of America's military.
I met some of the best brothers I could ever wish for in the Infantry. Some of them died. Rest in peace my friends. I love all our military and vets. take care.
If I ever join, I will spend most of the 4 years trying and failing Ranger School, trying to get my tan tab and follow a Ranger tradition in my family. RANGERS LEAD THE WAY.
I was a soldier for 13 years and only had to stop because I a heart issue i didnt know I had, but if things go bad I am STILL a soldier and if things got bad I would pick up a weapon and stand next to my brothers and sisters! I will still fight for this great country and for my fellow soldier to my left and right!
+Alyssa A dont let people tell u that u cant do it and when they say u cant do it and prove them wrong. its my dream to join the army to and i will not tolerate people saying that i cant do it because they dont know me and they dont know u. all i cant say is work hard and keep moving forward an stay positive sister :)
+Alyssa A If you feel "the call to serve your country" then you will Not Fail:) Congratulations and GO FOR IT:) YES YOU CAN!!! YES, YOU WILL!!!!:) GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS!!!:)
This creed is something that will carry you for the rest of your life in all you do and who you are. God bless all those wearing the uniform of blood, sweat, tears, and freedom. God bless the United States of America.
Rangers are infantry. They’re just an elite force, but they still wear the CIB, and go to infantry school. And if they ever leave ranger batt, they go to an infantry platoon. I served with several of them.
hOORAH MILITARY I may only be 14 but this has inspired me. my father Maj. Allen Goode has served 21 years in the army I will continue in his boots when I can and I will serve as my father did. He also died in 2011 in Afghanistan by an I.E.D. I know I may die in service but at least I gave my life for my country.
I am not a fool to think that ideas such as honor, respect, dignity and virtue are imaginary. The cynical and pessimistic who only seek to acquire money and are not moved by inspiration can live in their 3 story mansions and keep to themselves and their prostitutes. I am another man, I believe in sacrifice and leadership. I believe in things outside of my self interest and accomplishing things for those around me.
Aye! Values, morals and character live beyond our lifetime, its the true legacy we leave our children. To provide them the mentorship, the pathway to justly build upon the right legacy that our grandchildren will rightly deserve also. Non Nobis Sed Patriae.....
This is what saddens me and makes me want to cry so many have died for this country and every day go to work you drive to school you walk to school or do whatever you usually do and to think you can't be there in less these men died for your freedom sometimes it's haunting and other times its pride and a lot of the time it's just plain old sad and depressing.May God help those who have served those who are currently serving and those who will serve.
As long as you're willing to defend and carry a rifle for this country, doesn't matter what branch you are or if you're reserves or guard. Every american warrior has my respect and gratitude.
What's funny is most active duty soldiers E-2 to E-5 even sometimes E-6 talk shit about the Guard, then they mature and get out and see that the DoD has shit bags on all sides in all branches both Officer and Enlisted. I served with active duty infantry guys from 4th ID that were too scared of direct contact engagements that they left a fallen soldier behind and refused to go back out and get what was left of him. Now where the fuck is the spine on that individual NCO and Officer who were in charge of that convoy? But the Guard unit there, just off a 32 hour combat op, ran back to their vehicles, no questions asked, to retrieve a fallen comrade regardless if he was active, guard or reservist. So to those whiny little bitches who talk shit about how the Guard is horrible, how can you talk shit when you can't back it up when it matters most????
Am in the guard, and am equally fucked, It doesnt matter what branch your in marines or airforce we ate in the same team. So stupid fights about what branch is better is a waste of time. All i know is when marines need rescuing the airforce moves in to help. So we all need each other.
Illuminatiricky I never did, I spent most of my time either in the field training or overseas. But, then again our Brigade Commander Col. Swift always had the article 15 ass hats or hot pisser short timers do that shit. He always said and I quote " Soldiers are warriors, they are trained to track, find, and kill the enemy. But we do not fight grass, and unless your spreading out in a wedge formation for a patrol then a police call is a weak enemy too." Sorry you guys got lame Duty Stations.
I love the video, love the music. The ONLY thing I do NOT care for is this is a recruitment video for the National Guard. Understand I am a disabled veteran medically retired from the Regular Army. As such hooah to all who answer the call of duty and honor and serve their country. The Army National Guard is a strong support force, but if you are looking to become a Ranger, Special Forces, or as I did Army infantry, you are NOT going to do any of those things in the National Guard. You won't go to jump school or get Airborne qualified in the Guard. Probably the most proud achievement of my life was graduating from Infantry School. Not far behind that was becoming Air Assault qualified and got my Air Assault badge. I made the 12 mile hump at 2:58 (IE...I graduated by the skin of my teeth when I popped my knew on a hollywood rappel) At 3 hours and 1 second you don't graduate. My best friend who joined the Army with me finished the hump in 2:38 He came back (with his ruck) and MADE me step it up. Without him, I would NOT have made it. Long story short, whilst being in any form of military service is honorable, if you want to do all the things you have dreamed of, you need to go into the regular Arm. Also, during boot camp, those of our brothers who were going National Guard got treated like shit by the training cadre') We all do Basic together, Regular Army, Army Reserve and National Guard
The National Guard is the fighting reserve of the active duty side. Everything active duty soldiers can do is available to Guardsmen. You can do airborne school, air assault school, and everything else. The deployment rate is roughly the same or lower, the only difference between the two is training time and the fact that active duty is a full-time job. Everything you can accomplish in the active duty side, you can accomplish in the Guard.
I said they do the same training... I said they don't have the same training time, because NG soldiers only have training once a month. I never said they can't be SF at all. I know several SF guys in the Guard. Shit, there's a TXARNG SF guy on UFC right now.
+Travis Harlev you say that but women should be welcomed too, arguably they have to work harder to get to the fitness level required to join the military. I'd also like to point out 6/10 of the top fighting forces in the world are introducing or already have women in their ranks including delta force,GIGN(France),SSG(Pakistan),sayerat Mektal(Israel),the shayetet 13(Israel) and the SAS.
I’m a female combat veteran from 1-17 (AIR) CAV, 82d (ABN) DIV. I busted my ass and buried many friends. I am INVISIBLE. When I finally came home from Fallujah in 2004, my husband organized for me to be acknowledged at this major event. When it happened, they made him stand up and everyone clapped for a ‘returning hero’...even when he tried to tell them it was me. I was pulled over for a speeding ticket. My license plate says ‘Bronze Star’. The officer asked me if my husband would be happy with me driving his car that fast. After many years, I’ve just given up. No one wants to know or even cares. I just get to try to feel connected to the service I loved so much by watching these videos, and get to read people shit on my service and mock it, despite not knowing a thing about me or what I’ve done. Being invisible is better than being acknowledged and then sneered at. I met the men’s 17-21 standard all 13 years, until a TBI ended my service. I still run marathons. Please try to acknowledge that we served and try to be respectful. It means so so so so much...one time it helped right at a moment when PTSD was about to take my life after my husband left me...I’ll always be grateful for his genuine gratuity to me. It came at a time where I might not have been around one more day without it. The worst is when I’m derided by people whose closest experience in combat is playing call of duty...or from fat asses sitting on your front porch with your Koran saying ‘if it ain’t broke don’t fix it Mr. ‘Bashar Al-Assad’. They give you more respect than me. What the actual fuck.
Not until you have served side by side with a brother in arms, in any service can you understand the sacrifice and commitment that is in our hearts. To family, god, country we would sacrifice anything, but most of all the men to your left and right. They are what matters when the shit hits the fan. I have lost so many, but I have never forgotten a single face or memory. I appreciate all those that took the oath to serve and those that will. Thank you from one beat up veteran to another, godspeed
big shout out to all yall brave heroes brothers out there that served n protect keep em up boys yall the best of the best,May God be with yall all the time,so be safe n God bless yall.
its a coach talking to his team before a very important game , they won the game . It may not be motivational to you but it helped those guys win there game and thats the meaning of the speech .
It is certain you Have never heard "The Gael", if you had, you would not have made the comment you did. But then again, I expect ignorance from most people these days
Anything is a failure here it is you. For failing to find the motivation in the words being spoken. And correcting someone's grammar is below insulting someone when it comes to arguing a position. Congrats loser.
My grandfather was an Army scout dog handler in Vietnam. He died December 17th, 2011 due to exposure to agent orange in the war. I have been inspired by him to join the military and when he passed, I had made up my mind that I WOULD go in the Army. RIP SSGT. Dennis Evans and his dog, King

Hoahh
I remembered I watched this video before and I enlisted. I'm glad I did because it helped carry me through BCT. Today I graduated BCT and here I am watching it again.
oorah= marines
hooah= army
hooyah= navy
they all originated from a victory cry
I think it's funny that the Air Force does not have one, unless they decide to acknowledge their origins as the Army Air Corps.
jared alves Aight, whatever.. When's lunch time? - Air Force
jared alves.
Air Force don't need one, they just keep on dropping ordnance on the enemy, when ever any US ground force needs CAS
You forgot one, the Air Force, theirs sound like this,
"Hey boys, over here, yoooooohooooooo"
I remember listening to this before I joined the army and now that I'm here I still listen to this almost everyday
+cody schroeder WE SALUTE YOU!!! ROCK ON and WE PATRIOTS ARE FOREVER GRATEFUL FOR YOUR SERVICE!!! GOD BLESS YOU and YOUR TEAM!!!:)
Robby Robinson HOOAH
Why are we being protected….who's trying to harm us

Respect from Israel. Our armies together make the strongest force on earth.
keirfree senior dirt nap all of ‘em, PA terror group, and every other lying POS coward
@keirfree senior or as long as america does not fight against vietnamese farmers😂😂😂😂
Marcel Kühn Meh. That war was unfortunately lost by politics. A real shame to be honest.
@@marcunnocello3092 for some reason lots of global super powers lose to farmers. For example, the British lost to American farmers in 18th century
Never forget USS liberty
I almost cried, when I hear these powerful words. I went to the dessert and loved it. I love my country, I would do anything to protect and defend against all enemies foreigner and domestic. I would love to go back. those dayssss waoo.

Lol you do know that Russia and India are long time allies the indo us alliance are strained dumb ass
+Daniel Simentales Wrong! India and USA have a greater trade than either has with Russia....
+madhav muralidharan India should have remained in the British Empire, at least for a few more generations.
Love ,respect and above all honor!! Great post! Thank you!
I love all our military and vets. take care.

leave it to the National Guard...
Former 1812, I had fun miss some of my brothers who are no longer here.. untill Valhalla brothers!
Rangers Lead The Way! HOOAH!
Hell yeah!!
Rangers are infantry. They’re just an elite force, but they still wear the CIB, and go to infantry school. And if they ever leave ranger batt, they go to an infantry platoon. I served with several of them.
Psst: Rangers don’t say ‘hooah’.
hOORAH MILITARY I may only be 14 but this has inspired me. my father Maj.
***** FUCK YEAH
***** hooraah my friend was ryan wood ok national guard and will remember forever.
Aye! Values, morals and character live beyond our lifetime, its the true legacy we leave our children. To provide them the mentorship, the pathway to justly build upon the right legacy that our grandchildren will rightly deserve also. Non Nobis Sed Patriae.....
too bad your fighting for rich old dudes
you should listen then
This is what saddens me and makes me want to cry so many have died for this country and every day go to work you drive to school you walk to school or do whatever you usually do and to think you can't be there in less these men died for your freedom sometimes it's haunting and other times its pride and a lot of the time it's just plain old sad and depressing.May God help those who have served those who are currently serving and those who will serve.
ARMY RANGERS LEAD THE WAY HOOAH!
Beast Hd no disrespect but Army Infantry leads the way, we are the people that brings it to those mother fuckers..
This the first positive video about the U.S ARMY I ever seen. Thank you
Outstanding job making an Army motivational video, then using a picture of a Marine in the very FIRST FRICKING SLIDE.
Oh shit, how did i not notice that?
Still motivational though
Peter McBride
California weekend warriors. Can't expect the best.
Lmfao
mmm chips 0311
Oohrah is what you say with a Seamen in you. Hooah isn't even a really a thing.
Am in the guard, and am equally fucked,
It doesnt matter what branch your in marines or airforce we ate in the same team.
So stupid fights about what branch is better is a waste of time.
All i know is when marines need rescuing the airforce moves in to help.
So we all need each other.
You my lost soul are a complete idiot...enough said.
Thank you Bob, you did the job not many would do.
And then you get there and pick up cigarette Butt's and cut grass.. Lmao
Lol I know right
Illuminatiricky I never did, I spent most of my time either in the field training or overseas.
Its cool so far, im doing combatives right now mrrossn
Cool have fun in the final test. That dude with boxing gloves
is going to beat the hell out of you. He did me.
mrrossn that's tomorrow for me, ill try and make it fun lol
army is strong this would not be possible without them because they fight for our freedom we are a champion
HOOAH
HOOAH!
The motivational cry is oorah, hooah just means yes.
Army is hooah marines say oorah and means anything but no
+overlord 6 Hooah
HOOAH SOLDIER
I listen to this every single day on the way to the gym.
You are wrong. The 19th and 20th Green Berets are National Guard. They go through the same exact training. Look it up if you do not believe me.
Ryan Tully I dont think you can be a Ranger in National Guard... Also COG(Delta) is not National Guard. You can however be SF.
I said they do the same training... I said they don't have the same training time, because NG soldiers only have training once a month. I never said they can't be SF at all. I know several SF guys in the Guard. Shit, there's a TXARNG SF guy on UFC right now.
And yes, you can be a Ranger
Now this is the real US Army Ad.
Notice it's all men? If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
Damn right!
Rasputin, crusher of hive Yeah great for them. Maybe if you haved served you would understand the anger many enlisted feel.
Bashar al-Assad you got that line from the old beauty and the beast
Awesome guys...Much respect from your Kiwi brothers in arms.
Kiwigrunt.
First to fight last to fall foxtrot warriors kill them all. Hooah!
Yikes. So much branch hostility. We're all brothers. Lets just do it the old fashioned way and start taking bets on who has the fattest wife.
excellent
Hooah!
Or husband
oohrah
Branch hostility or interservice rivalry is a very long standing tradition between the services.
big shout out to all yall brave heroes brothers out there that served n protect keep em up boys yall the best of the best,May God be with yall all the time,so be safe n God bless yall.
Don't you mean "I am a warrior?" Champions are for the playing field (no, football players are not warriors), while warriors are for the battlefield.
+Cory Comelio this was originally a motivation speech given by a football coach...
Yup
+Cory Comelio
Army bro. The warriors are found in the Marine Corps.
This is originally a video of either a college or a high school football team I forget which one
+Cory Comelio No, the Marines are warriors.
Just enlisted on Halloween, shipping to fort benning for infantry training in January then airborne school cant wait
this aint motivational
its a coach talking to his team before a very important game , they won the game . It may not be motivational to you but it helped those guys win there game and thats the meaning of the speech .
i get it thx by the way great use of words
I play this on loop while I workout getting ready in hopes of joining the navy
That music made it GAY. Im gonna go ahead and call this a FAIL
***** Ewww Good one... not...
I hate how you say that becuse you know that was mean and your a fail
Using "your" instead of "you're" is a FAIL! Try again Rebekah.
RIP
SSGT. Dennis Evans and his dog, King
Agent orange is real
