I read some of the comments below and many of them make me sad. I am a Captain in the military and I don't fight the front lines. My battlefield is in a medical tent healing those injured which is what I choose to do. My point to that is we all fight for something whether on a battlefield or in life in general. The point of this song and if you listen to the simple lyrics, "we stand shoulder to shoulder," is about erasing the hate, standing up... together..., and fighting that fight. It is the only way, no matter what battlefield, we can survive. I got the awesome chance to see him perform this live and he sent a great message conveying such. So I hope you guys stop looking too far into things creating controversy and accept the simple message that we all need to fight everyday together whether you are a soldier in the military or, as we all are, soldiers in life.
One more quick point... the very first images in this video state, "For the warriors who fight and die... so the rest of us may fight to live." Although, the video primarily focuses on the civilian side of the house, he definitely puts a shout out to my brothers and sisters-in-arms for what they do. He did that do I saw him as well. Good luck in your fight.
You're absolutely right; the message is fantastic and, while it definitely gives a well deserved shout out to the forces, it's also about fighting through trouble in all walks and areas of life. This shit stirring has to stop so we can enjoy the song for what it is!

My husband and I are both Army vets. We just had the pleasure to watch our son emerge out of the smoke this past week to this song. The most bad ass thing I can remember seeing !!
40 Rounds Indeed. Our daughter graduated Ft. Jackson Basic Training 8/16 and we have not been able to get this song out of our head since. I am a veteran myself and my wife is the daughter of a career soldier and watching these young men and women emerge from the smoke stirred up so much emotion and pride for all soldiers past and present.
My grandfather served in the Army ww2, I lost an uncle in Korea, my stepdad served in the Army during Vietnam & I served in the Navy. Thank you to all who served, & prayers for those who paid the ultimate price for their brothers and sisters.
I am a 74 year old grandmother and the first time I heard this song was last week during the boot camp graduation of my grandson who entered the Army as a chaplains assistant. It was an emotional and inspiring display and this song will forever be tied to strength, duty, and faith in my heart! Thank you for sharing your talents.
It's time to strap our boots on This is a perfect day to die Wipe the blood out of our eyes In this life there's no surrender There's nothing left for us to do Find the strength to see this through We are the ones who will never be broken With our final breath We'll fight to the death We are soldiers, we are soldiers Whoa, whoa-oh, whoa-oh, whoa-oh We are soldiers I stand here right beside you Tonight, we're fighting for our lives Let me hear your battle cry Your battle cry We are the ones who will never be broken With our final breath We'll fight to the death We are soldiers, we are soldiers Yeah! The song is literally an anthem for us. For people. The singer actually talks about it in the description. This is a song about being alive and fighting. This is a tribute to all of us.
exactly!! i love this song. it's even more amazing live. the energy that the crowd has when they play this song in particular is just out of this world!
This goes out to my husband that served his country!!!! He passed away on August 5th. 2019. RIP my love. On August 24th at his Memorial this Song will be heard to celebrate his life as he lived it.❤❤❤❤
I love how this video shows the everyday heroes that often get overlooked. Don't get me wrong. I'm all for supporting our military, our police, our firemen and our medics. But this song encompasses so much more than that. We are ALL soldiers. We are ALL capable of being heroes every single day. This should be everyone's anthem.
The artist even said as much. He originally wrote it about unknown artists trying to be heard and having to fight hard to express themselves, and he then realized that this was bigger than that. That it's about the little guy in general.
‘Some fight for freedom, some fight for family, and some out of love for their country. The wisest soldiers fight in the background, not all are remembered, some aren’t even known, but they did what they did and we thank them for it’
If anyone wants to see this I want to thank everyone who has served their city or country. For those who died or lived, you are hero's and be remembered as one. If one soldier dies the enemy will have to go through our entire military to face our wraith. When you die, soldier, cop, civilian, you death will not be in vain. You will all remembered. I want to give a huge thank you to our vets, active duty soldiers and police men(firefighters doctors and EMS) for your service and making MY country a safer place.
What the hell are they defending? Certainly can't protect or spread what you don't have at home? Cause US ain't a free republic any longer. Hasn't been so for decades.
My daughter just graduated BCT yesterday and at their grad they played this song as they was marching on to the field she is now at AIT to become a combat Medic
I am a retired soldier that was in Afghanistan and came home without others but you can't relate anything to what our battles go through there or should you! This song is AMAZING and can kindof say what we all think when we are there but there is no picture

As a Volunteer Firefighter, God Bless everyone who serves or served this country and God Bless everyone who laid down their life for this country too🙏🇺🇸
I remember joining the Army several years ago and life has been a rollar coaster ever since. I've had my good times and bad times, and admittedly, I've had moments in my life where I thought about how much I want to give up. I remember hitting a bad time in my life where I delved deep into drinking on a nightly bases and almost became reliant on alcohol so I can quit feeling the negative feelings that I went through. But I remember playing this song while drinking a beer and remembering what this song was to me. This was the song that played during my graduation ceremony from BCT, and we were holding the back of the uniforms of each other as we raced through the smoke. It was during the part "we stand shoulder to shoulder" that we all marched together in formation. Listening to this song and watching video of the individuals who must have also went through hard times in their lives, remembering the reasons why I'm serving, and knowing I'm not in this alone, I dedicated time to over come the pains I suffered through. I managed to quit drinking and found ways I can better myself as a person. To become stronger, not only physically, but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually as well. While I still struggle to be more social, especially in light of the world we're living in today, I just need to remember that everyone is going through a tough time and we all have inner demons we're facing daily. The battles are tough, but we're all in this life together, and I hope that maybe one day, we all can win our battles that we face. We stand shoulder to shoulder, brothers and sisters, and let no differences between us separate us.
Just graduated from fort Jackson yesterday and on family day when we came out of the woods and walking through the smoke while this song was playing it was the best moment of my life!
My brother is currently serving and this was played at his graduation from basic and i thank him and the others who risked their life for mine and everyone elses freedom
Graduated from Ft. Jackson a few weeks ago, and I cannot lie, marching out of the smoke WAS the most badass but emotional time of my life. The accomplishment of finishing, and simply having the opportunity to participate in doing something I love is astounding. I plan on attending RASP & Ranger School to truly do what I would like in this world. To defend who I truly love, and simply defend those who cannot defend themselves. “I am an American soldier”!- Soldiers Creed.
The choice of black and white and choosing ordinary people for this song is beautiful, each of us, in his world and with the pain and life of every day, is like a soldier and none of us can do it without the help of others. I only met this song now, in 2020 and it seems perfect with what's happening in the world because of the Covid.
I feel it would be appropriate to remake the video featuring the Heroes of the 20s: grocers, restaurant workers, delivery drivers, nurses, doctors, etc. the REAL soldiers of these times.
Sorry, but what? Going to Iraq, killing civilians, torturing them, commiting numerous war crimes, stories of soldiers going into civilian houses and beheading husbands infront of their families were for Freedom? This wasn't for Freedom this was pure evil to fill someones pocket that you elected, you funded, you endorsed.
I am a military mom. Thank you for all who serve in any way & for the wonderful messages shared here. You are all in my prayers. I love this song. Music speaks to people, motivates & unites. Thank you for this powerful song! I love it.
my girlfriends son just graduated out of army basic training. they played this song as all the platoons came out of the woods and onto the field. they came out thru smoke grenades. fucking awesome.
Anyone who puts on a uniform, be they a medic, field doctor, a soldier fighting or airforce or navy all deserve our respect. because they are the ones making the sacrifice so we civilians can have our freedom, and their families.
@Miu-JJJ thank you for your service too. One of my sons is army national guard. When he graduated boot camp, this is the song they played as they come from the trees across the field, in a cloud of green smoke to stand in place. It was so beautiful. Had this momma crying!
I first heard this during my graduation ceremony for basic training. This song is very close to my heart now. Almost two years in the army now. Keep rocking soldiers of war and soldiers of life! 🤘🏼🇺🇸
I serve 5 years 20 years, Was dispatched in various country from yougoslavia to Tchad. Still the best years of my life. RIP to all who have passed, and thanks to all who havé servez.
My old friend Tyler Stephen, sang this in 6th grade for the talent show, that was the year the song came out, I hope you’re doing well Tyler!! Thanks for showing me a great song!
People take their freedom for granted. Going to the beach on memorial day, without even thinking about those who lost their lives on a beach for us to have our day on the beach, people kneeling to the national anthem. I thank, support and stand for the brave men and woman to risk their lives. God bless America 🇺🇸
About 10 years ago I believe maybe a little more I was at your concert In Jackson Michigan you guys had me on stage with my hands in the air only 12 years old 💪🏽🖤🤘🏽🤘🏽🙂
They played this song at my sons basic training family day celebration the day before graduation. Most intense and emotional day full of pride and patriotism. This song just made the experience and ceremony so much better!!!!!
For those who served this country in its most dire hours, from the birth to the present day, I raise my hand in salute and honor those who gave their lives for this country so that we may go on living ours. God bless our troops.
R.i.p Michael Sean Chapman who died in Afghanistan fighting for all of us to have the freedom that we have just like other who wanted us to be free and not have to fight they were man and woman enough to step up and serve. Thank you to all who have served and to all that are still serving..
I love this band. The messages that are portrayed in their music is fantastic. Awesome song for our soldiers who continue to fight and defend our freedoms.
The song isn't about the ones serving in the army, navy, etc. it's about everyday people being fighters, whether they've gone through depression, suicide, loss of job, etc. it's about us being the soldiers, fighting through pain & hardship.
CJ Reeder Its not. Is is About the Armed Forces that fight everyday so the CIVILIANS can fight to live on. It said even in the beginning. Learn what the song is about before you start spreading things around that is not true. Semper fi 89B: This we will defend and hold true!
How about its about anything you want to apply it to? :) if you want to apply it to the brave men and women protecting and serving our country, then it is for that. If it is for people struggling with depression, suicide or any of the things you mentioned, then it's perfect for that as well :)
Actually that is false, the actual song is talking about real solders and giving them thanks for fighting and risking their lives to allow the people back in the US to fight their own battles back home. It is not equating military service (A.K.A. real soldiers) to civilians fighting to live on.
Being in the military, when I am greeted by a civilian and thanked for my service, I immediately thank them for their support. I tell them, though I have taken an oath to defend our country, they can do their part by being a citizen soldier in their community. Ultimately, it takes every American doing their part, to make our country the greatest hope for freedom and prosperity. We the People, must not allow our government to dictate what is or is not in our best interest. We must take back our voice and stand united against tyranny and oppression. We are Soldiers.
this is one reason I became a firefighter/first responder. I always wanted to be one since I was a kid and I always wanted to help people and then when I got older I wanted to join the coast guard but dad said he did his time some and my brother didn't have too plus I couldn't pass the test. huge thank you and salute to the men and women that have fought or are fighting for our country so that we may be able to so the things we love to do in this great country even if things are messed up at the moment. your services will never be forgotten and this country will get fixed soon!
+NEW_WORLD_BRANDON, I have 10yrs Active Duty service and just re-enlisted for more 4yrs. Deployed? Yes, NWB, I have been combat deployed multiple times.
They played this song at my brother’s Military Graduation introduction, Fort Jackson. I can only speak for myself in the crowd. It gave me chills, I wanted to go there and march with them. 🫡
I also remember seeing my brother emerge out of the woods also! Gave me chills because he was just an 18 year old serving the country. I was changing his diapers and now he's protecting us in this country 💙
That was the first time I heard this song - when my son graduated BCT at Fort Jackson this past April. It gave me chills. It was awesome seeing the soldiers march through the smoke to this song. Now every time I listen to it, it makes me think of graduation.
This is the song that was played as my daughters battalion marched across Fort Jackson's Hilton field for graduation from basic combat training. I hadn't seen her for 10 weeks, and can say this was one of the proudest moments a parent can experience. The song made me very emotional then and everytime since. Thank you Otherwise for creating such a great song, thank you United States Army for creating soldiers that America can be so proud of, thank everyone of you soldiers out there who put your lives on the line everyday so we can live in the greatest country in the world.
Once a Solider always a Soldier. We move on to the Civilian life and a part of us still connected to our past. God Bless the Troops past, present and future. We are Brothers and Sisters, Soldiers till death. Reach out if you need help.
My baby brother graduated yesterday from the army. I loved how they walked out the smoke. Made me cry with this song playing. My family are all military❤️
I miss this song, I used to hear it all the time when I was being driven to school during my elementary and half of my middle school year, then it just stopped being put on the radio
I am a Army Girlfriend. My boyfriend just graduated from Basic Training and they played this song i am so grateful that he is fighting for our freedom and for our country's freedom so that both mine and his family is safe and that in the future our kids will be safe and i love him for that
I'm a combat vet, and battle was terrible and trying, but sometimes fighting through the struggle in life feels harder than the war. Years upon years, it never ends, and you keep fighting through until it works out.
Everyday you leave the house you go to war not the same as a soldier but you do you're at war with yourself with others compromises you choose to make and the ones you don't only when you hit that step walk through that door home you get to look forward to tomorrow you didn't win the war won the battle for today keep struggling die doing what you love
My Papaw Gary once served in the Vietnam War. Even though it was not in the best of interests to fight, Papaw still did a civic duty to fight for his country. And he went & served his country twice. My Papaw was in the Strawberry Lightning/25th Infantry Division, and though he didn’t like to talk too much about the war given his PTSD soon after, he still served America well. He’s dead now, has been for almost 10 years now, but I still thank him for his service & keeping America safe.
This song was played on our son now soldier's family day made the tears come out, seeing the companies come out from the woods in the yellow and green smoke, no words, awesome song
I just enlisted in the Army, and my cousin (who is also in the Army) was telling me how they blasted this song while they marched out of Basic. I'm incredibly nervous and I don't know what this decision will being, but this is just one of the many songs that reminds me why I did it
Thank you soldiers for fighting for my freedom, you have my highest respect, and i will follow in your footsteps. Like you did for your country I will do for mine.
My dad was in the Marines as a gunner and this was his ringtone when I was little and is now one of my most favorite songs. I think about it constantly, and now that I'm older I realize what it means and I want to thank you guys for making a song that I grew up with. (He is alive btw. Sorry that was unclear)
Thanks to the bulgarian soldiers who had fought for our country and still fight for it! This song describes what they did and what they still do... Thanks soldiers!...
I'm a soldier for the national guard and this song reminds me of what I do and what I'm fighting for I've been severing my country for 10 plus years and this song is so amazing I salute to this song stay safe everyone
Dj Umbreon It's nice what you did to your Grandpa,But hey,one thing,i don't want to look like the "bad guy" but did USA Save your life in Vietnamese war ?
This was played at the place I met my best friend, my battle, my brother, and it was played the last time I ever saw him, just before he went 6 feet under, he will be remembered. He lived his life expecting to die in Afghanistan just to come home and be killed by a drunk driver, he had a little girl to, she has lived with me ever sense, this songs meaning is not just words, it is made to remind everyone, all of the other people on this earth that you can not fuck with us with out consequences, this is American and we are not going anywhere anytime soon.
Having listened to this song countless times back when it came out, and after looking for it for the past month, only vaguely remembering about it, I still remember every word to it like I just listened it to it yesterday
What does it mean to you today? To Me? It means we better stand up and fight for the woman and children before they take us all away from each other and there is no way out.
Super motivational song I feel broken my self but heared this song in arrow version I feel better and stronger . Thank you for the song lyricist & composer ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I deployed literally weeks after this came out. We were Infantryman and it was a point to blast this song everytime we left the wire... Believe it or not this song motivated me and my brothers to fight with complete motivation and fearlessness. One time during a fire fight al of a sudden this was being blasted on a Bose wireless speaker everyone got out of cover and returned fire. It was amazing and something we all talk about to this day 10 years later.
I am in the Army and I love this. Thank you for giving us acknowledgment and support through this badass song. I listen to it when I workout so I can be the best soldier I can be and defend my family, friends, neighbors, state, and country as well as protect our freedoms and way of life. It is much appreciated!🇺🇸
This song reminds me that for every military service member out there, there are more of us behind the scenes willing to start a fight on their behalf. Only the stupid or arrogant wake a sleeping giant!
Today, Sept. 21. 2023, one of my grandson's graduated from Basic. Yesterday, they had a ceremony for Family Day and a demonstration of camouflage skills and attack tactics. His training company was screened behind some trees across the parade field and under a small earthen bern. The DIs threw out some smoke and the PA started playing this song. The company came marching the bern through the smoke appearing to just materialize. It was very moving.

Wipe the blood out of our eyes
In this life there's no surrender
There's nothing left for us to do

Whoa, whoa-oh, whoa-oh, whoa-oh
We are soldiers

Tonight, we're fighting for our lives
Let me hear your battle cry
Your battle cry
We are the ones who will never be broken

The army played this song at my basic training graduation last month and i immediately loved this song!
Fort Jackson? I liked how the beat was used so that our steps would be in synced. Plus, marching out of the smoke was so badass.

I know that feeling Brother and know that you your not alone 🤙🤙🤙
@@darkwatcher7676 I thank you for this. I greatly appreciate the support.
This song was released right before the death of my father and grandfather. This song gives me strength, thank you.
Just graduated from fort Jackson yesterday and on family day when we came out of the woods and walking through the smoke while this song was playing it was the best moment of my life!
Congratulations. Love & respect to you and all your brothers & sisters that serve our country.
My cousin graduated from there two months ago as well, and my brother yesterday, congrats to you and all the soldiers who have made it
Yay
Thank you for your service sir and madam
Hooah brother! I ship to Fort Jackson on May 12th!
My nephew Robert graduates today from basic training . I’m so proud.
Army?
Yes, Army National Guard.
@@connieguevara8305 nice! Congrats to him and to you
Congrats I hope he's doing you proud
Not just cowid
Covid Isn't that bad
I thought the same thing watching the video. I am new to the song and thought it was very fitting for current times.
I feel it would be appropriate to remake the video featuring the Heroes of the 20s: grocers, restaurant workers, delivery drivers, nurses, doctors, etc. the REAL soldiers of these times.
@sturzkampfflugzueg looser
Freedom is not Free. Thank you for your service.
You're welcome
Sorry, but what? Going to Iraq, killing civilians, torturing them, commiting numerous war crimes, stories of soldiers going into civilian houses and beheading husbands infront of their families were for Freedom?
This wasn't for Freedom this was pure evil to fill someones pocket that you elected, you funded, you endorsed.
I am a military mom. Thank you for all who serve in any way & for the wonderful messages shared here. You are all in my prayers. I love this song. Music speaks to people, motivates & unites. Thank you for this powerful song! I love it.
We stand shoulder to shoulder
my girlfriends son just graduated out of army basic training. they played this song as all the platoons came out of the woods and onto the field. they came out thru smoke grenades. fucking awesome.
shea vertwot that sounds badass as hell
I was there was it in south carolina
Peyton Thompson yeah. ft Jackson a few months ago
Yep
shea vertwot my brother just graduated in the same way in ft Jackson wish him good luck in Fort Gordon HOOAH
Anyone who puts on a uniform, be they a medic, field doctor, a soldier fighting or airforce or navy all deserve our respect. because they are the ones making the sacrifice so we civilians can have our freedom, and their families.
@wilddddll1220you have my respect, 9 months in still going strong
@Miu-JJJ thank you for your service too. One of my sons is army national guard. When he graduated boot camp, this is the song they played as they come from the trees across the field, in a cloud of green smoke to stand in place. It was so beautiful. Had this momma crying!
There heros. We still believe in you. We are not sheep
But they can also abuse that authority. Maybe today we can say no more we stand to be heros for god. Cus God is my boss. No one else.
A team
I first heard this during my graduation ceremony for basic training. This song is very close to my heart now. Almost two years in the army now. Keep rocking soldiers of war and soldiers of life! 🤘🏼🇺🇸

as a Soldier in the U.S Army I proudly play this song and with everything I go through i think of this song in my head and it gets me through.
My nephew and his fellow soldiers walked through the smoke of fort Jackson as he completed basic combat training to this song! Very proud
My old friend Tyler Stephen, sang this in 6th grade for the talent show, that was the year the song came out, I hope you’re doing well Tyler!! Thanks for showing me a great song!
Thank you for all the soldiers who sacrafised there lives for ours.May your souls rest in peace
Deep respects and thanks for all military service. To the fallen May your souls Rest In Peace.
People take their freedom for granted. Going to the beach on memorial day, without even thinking about those who lost their lives on a beach for us to have our day on the beach, people kneeling to the national anthem.
I thank, support and stand for the brave men and woman to risk their lives. God bless America 🇺🇸
They played this at the soldiering ceremony after the Forge in Basic Combat Training and it's stuck with me since. Great song.
I love this song. My brother passed away in 2016. And when I hear this song I know that he wants me to be strong. Thank you for this song
About 10 years ago I believe maybe a little more I was at your concert In Jackson Michigan you guys had me on stage with my hands in the air only 12 years old 💪🏽🖤🤘🏽🤘🏽🙂
"We will not sleep. We are not sheep." Excellent words when you consider what's happening in the world today.
Marching out to this song with my fellow soldiers on family day was the most prideful day of my whole life.
For everyone that fights to protect us in war or even at home. Thank you.
This song is awesome.
"You can't erase us, you'll just have to face us"
Noelie Guerrero You Can't Erase Us! (The Clones)
Bet your asssssss
Patricia Saluti Steve he said a bad language word!
Atomic powers b like:
"Are you sure about that?"
That is literally the best line in the song
They played this song at my sons basic training family day celebration the day before graduation. Most intense and emotional day full of pride and patriotism. This song just made the experience and ceremony so much better!!!!!
I’ll be there on December 4th and December 5th for my graduation boy and family day! Can’t wait to see my baby
1:27 Life is full of disapointments. Just ask my parents.
Damn I love that shirt haha
For those who served this country in its most dire hours, from the birth to the present day, I raise my hand in salute and honor those who gave their lives for this country so that we may go on living ours. God bless our troops.
I'm sure my dad would appreciate this.
Um grande obrigado a todos os heróis brasileiros que lutam diariamente por nós! ⚔️🇧🇷
SELVA!
R.i.p Michael Sean Chapman who died in Afghanistan fighting for all of us to have the freedom that we have just like other who wanted us to be free and not have to fight they were man and woman enough to step up and serve. Thank you to all who have served and to all that are still serving..
Marched to this on my Family Day in BCT. Literally my anthem!
Rachel Nill saaame
I love this band. The messages that are portrayed in their music is fantastic. Awesome song for our soldiers who continue to fight and defend our freedoms.
I'm currently in my second term as a Us army m1 Abrams crewmen, it's rough but it's a honor to fight along side my brother's and sisters.
Thank you for your service.
My god be with you and your brothers and sisters
we are soldiers to do the right thing without recognition
The song isn't about the ones serving in the army, navy, etc. it's about everyday people being fighters, whether they've gone through depression, suicide, loss of job, etc. it's about us being the soldiers, fighting through pain & hardship.
No it's not
CJ Reeder Its not. Is is About the Armed Forces that fight everyday so the CIVILIANS can fight to live on. It said even in the beginning. Learn what the song is about before you start spreading things around that is not true.
Semper fi
89B: This we will defend and hold true!
It is not equating military service (A.K.A. real soldiers) to civilians fighting to live on.
viruteb That would be changing the whole message of the song and being disrespectful to the artist.
We are all soldiers, we may not conceive ourselves as being soldiers, but we all are. We all are fighting for ourselves, friends, family, everyone.
Brayton Ridenour Brilliant metaphor, but I assume you mean perceive? Kek
I always wanted to be one since I was a kid and I always wanted to help people and then when I got older I wanted to join the coast guard but dad said he did his time some and my brother didn't have too plus I couldn't pass the test. huge thank you and salute to the men and women that have fought or are fighting for our country so that we may be able to so the things we love to do in this great country even if things are messed up at the moment. your services will never be forgotten and this country will get fixed soon!
you got it
+JediTnkr74 so you get deployed yet or you still in reserve
+NEW_WORLD_BRANDON, I have 10yrs Active Duty service and just re-enlisted for more 4yrs. Deployed? Yes, NWB, I have been combat deployed multiple times.
+JediTnkr74 from the bottom of my heart, thank you for your service
They played this song at my brother’s Military Graduation introduction, Fort Jackson. I can only speak for myself in the crowd. It gave me chills, I wanted to go there and march with them. 🫡
I also remember seeing my brother emerge out of the woods also! Gave me chills because he was just an 18 year old serving the country. I was changing his diapers and now he's protecting us in this country 💙
Who else listening to this on Memorial Day weekend 2019? R.i.p to those who never made it out of their uniform.
All those who give life so others may live are the backbone of the human race, respect my friens.
R.I.P the true heros.
if found this song today before I went to do a pfa April 23 2020
I didn't find this song until after remembrance day of this year but I will listen to this song on Remembrance Day 2021
my brother is in the army and when we went to go see him graduate bootcamp they played this song
Ryan Wright at Fort Jackson? that's where my brother graduated recently
do you remember what his unit was
That was the first time I heard this song - when my son graduated BCT at Fort Jackson this past April. It gave me chills. It was awesome seeing the soldiers march through the smoke to this song. Now every time I listen to it, it makes me think of graduation.
Ryan Wright good for you guys.
Ryan Wright i graduated december 1st and they played it at fort jackson
ive always wanted to be a soldier, to make sure my home, my family is safe, listen to this with a group of friends, when your sad, i love this song.
Fort Jackson? 4th Platoon, River Raiders
Everyday you leave the house you go to war not the same as a soldier but you do you're at war with yourself with others compromises you choose to make and the ones you don't only when you hit that step walk through that door home you get to look forward to tomorrow you didn't win the war won the battle for today keep struggling die doing what you love
me and my mom love this song . cause my dad is a wounded warrior and we almost lost him
+Kat Rainbow yeah
My dad was also wounded in battle
At least he did it for a good cause, you should thank him
Respect, Son.
não entendi nada..
He’s dead now, has been for almost 10 years now, but I still thank him for his service & keeping America safe.
best song for soldiers
Who's listening in 2024?
This is my go to workout song before every top effort lift

Graduated at Fort Benning today... Infantryman fresh for my duty station. This song always inspires me.
This song was played on our son now soldier's family day made the tears come out, seeing the companies come out from the woods in the yellow and green smoke, no words, awesome song
I thank my dad as much as can! R.I.P to those who served
I just enlisted in the Army, and my cousin (who is also in the Army) was telling me how they blasted this song while they marched out of Basic. I'm incredibly nervous and I don't know what this decision will being, but this is just one of the many songs that reminds me why I did it
I was recently reintroduced to this song. After twenty years of service this hits in the feels.
Thank You For Your Service!
beautiful music .... I am from Brazil this music encourages me a lot when serving the special forces ....
To our brave medical teams and first responders pushing everyday to save who they can. I bow my head to you. Stay safe, stay strong, thank you.
Thank you soldiers for fighting for my freedom, you have my highest respect, and i will follow in your footsteps. Like you did for your country I will do for mine.
I will also go to the army and fight for the republic my country and for other people who need help
My buddy just started basic training recently and he said it's pretty tough on him. This song makes me think of him
I'm a soldier for the national guard and this song reminds me of what I do and what I'm fighting for I've been severing my country for 10 plus years and this song is so amazing I salute to this song stay safe everyone

Same with mine ^.^, thanks for your service.
thank you for everyone that gave their life for us today Michael Teague
Dj Umbreon It's nice what you did to your Grandpa,But hey,one thing,i don't want to look like the "bad guy" but did USA Save your life in Vietnamese war ?
Wotan cz Maybe he didn't, but hey at least he was nice enough to fight in the war to help our country become what it is today.
you're totally right... my grandpa was a medic... at least he helped save lives Michael Teague
As a soldier this song drives me to keep pushing when I want to give up.keep fighting my brothers and sisters💪🏾💪🏾
Rest In Peace Fallen
When i showed my dad this song after he got back from war he cried 😭
i like all the soldiers that protect us
It's hard to hear songs like this being a Combat Veteran. Tell your Dad that a Brother feels his pain.
"We stand shoulder to shoulder" my favorite part of the song
Red Rover REd Rover. Let Anthony Fauci come oVer. HAHA
Only the stupid or arrogant wake a sleeping giant!
love that love you. id go to the streets if needed. yes.
