      No problem! Hope the video helped you out! Was trying to show off what it could do - I honestly think it’s a great buy.

    I have the brushed version but that Allen wrench storing slot/hole is identical. It looked and felt secure but the first time out pruning branches it was lost. They must know it's less than perfect because it came with two. The spare stays in the tool bag when not needed.

    • @TheToughGuysTV
      @TheToughGuysTV  3 роки тому

      I don't think mine came with a spare. There is a smaller version of this saw out there - are you sure you have the same exact version? Thanks for the comment!

      @@TheToughGuysTV It's not the same exact version. It's the brushed version without orbital or gimmick cell phone battery pack and charger. But the Wrench: Allen Retaining Slot is the same. It may be smaller, it probably is but not the 12v one hand model.

    Diablo are best blades on the market they Make a sorry saw work decent

      This saw is well balanced, and the battery is strong. Grips / ergonomics are great as well. Yes the blades help, but isn’t that the case with any type of blade driven equipment? There can still be differences and preferences of the tools themselves. Thanks for watching!

    How is the vibration? I'm in the Dewalt ecosystem but their recip saws have pretty bad vibration from the reviews I've seen. I noticed this model has a vibration control kind of like the Milwaukee. I was wondering how effective it was. It didn't look like your hands were shaking much during the videos. Thanks for the review.

      Great question!! It does have some vibration but is managed well. The weight of the tool does help in my opinion. I’m not sure on the nuts and bolts behind the scenes, or how it works exactly but I can say it’s enjoyable to use. Thanks for reaching out!

    there is a hook shaped by the housing, you could hang the saw on the 2x

      Vibration is solid with this unit. I’ve only ever used Ridgid and Milwaukee so I can’t compare to other brands. It’s enjoyable to use and the battery power is amazing

      I love this reciprocating saw. Plus being bought into their battery lineup is a great choice in my opinion. Good luck w/ the Saw!! Make sure you grab some Diablo blades for it!

    I was using my sawzaw for the first time cutting down limbs that were like 3 inches in diameter. Sounded like a jammed and just stopped working. Don’t know what the problem is. Batter is full and it’s not overheated. I don’t know.

    I really think it should have some more RPM to it but I'll tell you what it's a damn good sawzall with the 4 amp hour battery you should try it with the five wow if they keep doing their tools like that they're going to beat the competition it figures skill was the people who invented the first cordless circular saw that's why they call it a skill saw

      I have consistently had amazing luck with these tools, only have ever had one small issue with a chuck not tightening and they replaced the drill for me under warranty. They always perform when I need them, and the batteries are tremendous!! Thanks for checking out the video!

      The hook feature is built into the frame of the saw. Just in front of the battery slot. The shape of the body and the small plastic protrusion. That's your hook. No it's not as nice as my Bosch RS20. No one really knows about that older 13 amp beast with it's beefy rafter hook and lack of a cord. Yeah, Bosch had a circular saw and a reciprocating saw. The CS20 and the RS20. Both use an extension cord as the tool cord. There is no built in cord on the tool. A very cool feature for a hard use tool in my opinion. I own both. Love the rafter hooks and they are still running.

    Battery makes a noise when it charging. Is it supposed to do it?

    • @TheToughGuysTV
      @TheToughGuysTV  2 роки тому

      Definitely not good!! Did you confirm if it’s the battery or the charger? The charger does make sound, it will kick on a fan inside of the charging base, and does make some noise.
      Assuming it is the battery and not the charger, Reach out to where you bought it from or direct to Skil for sure! Good luck on that, not heard of this issue before.

      I have this tool and I like it a lot. The tool has a lot of power and the batteries are 4ah so this is a huge factor in battery life. It's comfortabele to use in my opinion. One con after using it is the black rubber on the handle comes loose on top
