But people, especially in America, think blood and guts are gross so they usually get tossed even though blood and hearts and stuff are delicious! I went to a slaughterhouse where they sold me a bucket of pig's blood on the side that would have normally just been disposed of, whether I made this video or not. If you don't want to eat animals, then fine, but don't get on my case for trying to cut down on waste and using every part of an animal I can! When ready to pour into substrate (wood/fiberglass/carbon fiber) add potassium silicate to the mix as a curing agent. Reptile or amphibian (or demon) blood works best due to larger cell structure than mammalian blood. Bird blood would probably be the easier to get in large quantities that would be in between reptile and mammalian cell sizes unless you happen to live by an alligator/turtle farm.
Because edta prevents coagulation and makes the blood cells evenly disperse and azide keeps biologicals from growing and causing the cells to rot. How else could you feasibly bathe in the blood of your enemies if you don't know how to keep the blood from becoming a stinky clumpy mess?

I think if you used Sea Salt it would have probably made the sword hold better because salt would cause the membranes of the blood cells to stick together... with a high salt content you would likely have gotten a much sturdier sword.
