Best video I have seen with disassembled n assembled with no music just nature n how to love it. But here’s the kicker I have a 2017 850 highlifter. I have to change all four 🤦🏽♂️
Thanks great Video only one question why didn't you grease the bearing B4 reassembly?? Those bearing are notorious for not being greased very well from the factory.
I did, but I didn't film it. I have been looking into those grease packer attachments also to extend the bearing life, do you know anyone who has tried them?
I have the Tiger tool bearing greasers they work well. I like the fact that you don't have to completely remove the whole assembly to grease the bearings. Note there are two different tools one for front and one for rear bearings.
I think your supposed to grease the bearings and not put them in factory dry.. But I suppose at least you know how to do the next ones fairly easily now
6 years later and this is still a very good video to watch. Thank you so much.
Great video. I have two quads that need bearings, a sportsman 850 and a HighLifter 850. Thanks for the simple quick instructions
Best video I have seen. Love your dog. Thanks
Thank you

Do you know what mm is the bearing packer for the highlifter 850
@@bryanmartin1975 44mm
Is it the same process for the rear?
@@dr9931 no, it’s a lot easier in the rear, just axle nut and two bolts
Why did u impact on the axel nut !? Isn't there a torque spec !???

If you don't mind me asking what bearing brand did you replace with.
Not at all, they were OEM from the Polaris dealer.
What diameter in inches is your C clamp width to fit the hub housing?
6" mouth. 7" would be good too.
@@HandyGuy2016 thanks great video
What size socket did you use to knock out the bearing. Did your socket align with outer bearing race?
Quad Logic makes a bearing puller and installer but it $100 I don’t want to spend
@@stevefowler7319 I don't remember the size, I just found one the right size and slightly smaller than the outside diameter of the race.
and its a great video btw...it helps a guy like myself, and when it comes to fixing it
what size of socket did you use to finally punch the bearing out? as i will be doing mine a.s.a.p
2" I believe
@@HandyGuy2016 thank you very much for the quick reply

J's Crazy Cutz, LLC Thanks!

never EVER use a impact to tighten a bearing...it damages the bearing
