Love it Andy. Please definitely do this before each major. We all go through the draw at home by ourselves but it's pretty cool seeing you guys as excited as any other tennis fan. It must become tradition!
Andy this is called on the Internet an "Unboxing". In real life it's called "The Big Reveal". Thanks for the Big Revealing, Unboxing. Much Love for your Davis Cup efforts!!!
Great show! Yes, more of the live draw unboxing! Your reaction to Nadal-Zverev was priceless! And I can't wait to see Jon's segment on Daria Kasatkina on CBS Sunday Morning. I just started watching the What The Vlog series and it's fantastic.
Everyone just loves to disregard innocent until proven otherwise in the court of law. What good was the Oresteia if everyone responds like Furies? May you never find yourself fending off allegations that threaten to defame. For the record, Serverev was the one who appealed for a trial & doesn't even have to appear in court during the court dates.
Always enjoyed watching you play and seeing your matches live in Mason & Miami! I have to admit though, enjoying your podcast just as much! You deliver clear, informative, and engaging commentary. You articulate so well and what a sense of humor. Keep up the great work!
Loved this live look at the draw. Great banter between JW and Andy. Producer Mike and Andy - you guys makes a great couple 😂 really fascinating to get Andy’s thoughts and approach to breaking down the draw and agree with JW, Andy’s reaction to Rafa v Zverez, GOLD!
Musetti and his gf had a baby like 4 days after he lost in Indian Wells... not at all surprised he's been absent on clay. Someone get Andy some social media cole's notes
Great show, truly entertaining! Yes, keep the format, it’s pretty exciting to see your first reactions and bets on the draw. Sending greetings from Germany - will be watching Zverevs trial closely too.
The best tennis draw commentary I've ever watched or read. Unwrapping the draw unseen was genius especially with the Rafa shock - proof positive that draws aren't rigged. Keep it up Andy and the team! The level of insight and humour shown here trumps any printed news media article I've read by a huge amount.
I completely with Jon at 45:33 on meritocracy and the Rafa x Sascha match. If we're going to be meritocracy then let's be totally consistent (which tennis is not). That matchup is tragic and benefits absolutely no one, neither the players nor the fans. BTW this is one of the best draw previews ever. Love how you guys did this, and Andy is the most entertaining commentator in tennis.
Andy, I'm with you on the Coors Banquet beer... Some Sensei Johnny Lawrence Cobra Kai moves there. The Roland Garros draw/picks are tuff...Vamos Rafa! I want to see some Conners moves by the Vamos Man! One last run!
thank god for the heads up about the women's breakdown 1st, skipped straight through it. This was great thanks a ton for this, hopefully there will be ones for Wimbledon and USO.
Sinner will struggle I think if he has to grind, round after round. I don't see him facing any opponent that will do that until potentially Jarry. Therefore he'll be fresh and only Jarry could stop him making the SF.
Andy's reaction to Nadal v. Zverev was priceless but his reaction to Murray v. Wawrinka was hilarious. They are definitely the stand out matches for Round 1.
I listened to the entire episode on Spotify, but I'm here again to watch Andy react to Rafa playing Zverev in R1, and it is the best thing I've seen in a while🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Andy is right, seedings have to be earned. Gifting Rafa a seeding would guarantee he would start with 2 easier matches. A wildcard, though also not fair, would at least have a tougher draw than a seed.
That's disappointing Andy. I expected at least you would mention that one of those last two losses Swiatek had vs. Rybakina on clay was in a retirement. Swiatek had to retire w/ an injury at 2-2 in the 3rd set. She was a tiebreak from winning it in 2 sets. We don't know how that would've ended if they were both healthy through the whole match. I just keep hearing ppl bring up their H2H and Rybakina winning the last 2 on clay, but it's not the same as winning outright vs. a healthy Swiatek.
Both Rafa and Zerev could view this as a terrible first round, Rafa's is way off his best but if he gets rolling and it turns into a siege .....and Zerev does have a history and strong tendency to fade in long 4 to 5 set matches . All of Zerev's big tournament wins have happened in best of 3 set matches, a different animal altogether.
The argument that "the draw sure opens" if Nadal wins is weird. It is Kachanov/Rune in the fourth round already, would be Djokovic in the semi's. Mpetschi just won Lyon (second round). Aside from the first round it is a tough draw all the way through.
I am watching served today Sunday June 2nd and Andy and the group are discussing the behavior of the fans and their disruption of the players while playing. What about the betting ( or gambling)? If people have money on the line is it possible that they are trying to affect the match for their own monetary benefit?
Love love love this format, Andy! Your reaction to Rafa's draw with Zverev is absolute GOLD! Oh thank you Jon for using a proper microphone! The content of your conversation with Andy is always gold. I just wished it wasn't delivered through your AirPods. Finally my wish came true!
I understand Roddick trying to apply a Balls & Strikes analysis to the draw. But that kind of stuff applies to the journeymen of the ATP Tour. When you deal with a legend like Nadal, that metric gets thrown out the window. During the clay tournaments this season, Nadal has struggled in practice matches, losing those to players like Seyboth, Caballes-Baena, and Lehechka. That translated into his losses in actual matches. Once he got to RG, all that changed. He's played practice matches vs. Korda, Wawrinka, Navone, Medvedev and Rune. He won all of them. That's a huge change for him. The movement is back, which makes his shots more lethal. I agree with Wertheim that Nadal will find a way to win that match vs. Zverev.
I don't get the Sinner/Alcaraz in F4...both haven't played in a bit, both banged up, regardless what their camps are saying....in this heat, 5 setters, the stress of the clay game...both drop in R16....either Djoker is playing possum (won 2nd set 6-0 in Geneva and said "OK, I'm good, time to go now"), and has one more trick in his bag of magic, or he's gone in R16 (or earlier) as well. We're going to see 3 seeds at 10-20 seeds in F4...tennis is in a new unclaimed gen!
Collins is the greatest thread to Iga, but................... Super that you go so close to who!s are favorits. I will be "cleand "to the WTA matches. Hope as a Dane C.Tauson will surprice me this time. Bedst from Denmark .
Love it Andy. Please definitely do this before each major. We all go through the draw at home by ourselves but it's pretty cool seeing you guys as excited as any other tennis fan. It must become tradition!
This is gold. This video is the best draw preview I have ever seen. Absolute gold. Thanks a million Andy.
Read this before watching! Hype is real🔥
Not platinum?
Andy is pure class
Andy's reaction to finding the Nadal-Zverev matchup made my day! 🤣
Andy Roddick 10 days before the start of the FO: "The Men's draw is wide open!"
Also Andy Roddick: predicting all top 4 seeded to go to the semis.
Brilliant analysis, I don't understand how come this channel doesn't have at least 200k subscribers... Amazing job Andy, love and respect from Spain.
The show is still brand new. They just got a corporate sponsor. They need better lighting for Andy & better audio for Werther's Original.
The way John predicted Tabilo in QF and Jarry in SF assumingly because of their success in Rome & they lose 1st round 😂
Hope the trend continues and Rafa beats Zverev.🤞
His reaction to Nadal-Zverev was the chef’s kiss on an already great episode. I’m such a huge fan of this podcast!
That was great Andy, it’d be nice to have this for every Grand Slam
Thanks guys. This was a very entertaining draw preview. I hope Rafa pulls it offagainst Zverev.
Finally! The video I’ve been waiting for! 🏆🎾🇫🇷
Best tennis pod right now!
Andy this is called on the Internet an "Unboxing". In real life it's called "The Big Reveal". Thanks for the Big Revealing, Unboxing. Much Love for your Davis Cup efforts!!!
Your gay
Unboxing is for when influencers literally open new purchases, fan gifts, & promo products.
Andy I love this for the majors. Please do live reactions to draws on Served for slams in the future as well!
Great show! Yes, more of the live draw unboxing! Your reaction to Nadal-Zverev was priceless! And I can't wait to see Jon's segment on Daria Kasatkina on CBS Sunday Morning. I just started watching the What The Vlog series and it's fantastic.
KUDOS to Wertheim from mention dverevs trial
Don't stop bringing it up

This was awesome !!! Again, again, again, again !!!
Man what a first round, Murray Wawrinka is a match I’m weirdly excited for
The hobbled and the wobbled.
6 GS together last match they were what they were before injuries. They killed each other body in RG 2016
I’ll be watching that one on Chatrier tomorrow.

Sir Misery vs Whalerinka. What in the clearance sale.
Best Tennis video, ever! Keep this format up. It's great!
You got me hooked on this show.
*to
It is far more respectful to Rafa to give him a worthy opponent than a 16-year-old everybody knows he’s going to destroy.
Always enjoyed watching you play and seeing your matches live in Mason & Miami! I have to admit though, enjoying your podcast just as much! You deliver clear, informative, and engaging commentary. You articulate so well and what a sense of humor. Keep up the great work!

Love Andy's perspective. Hes actually assessing things. Absolutely love it. Plus he's got the charisma. Keep going Andy!!!
Thanks Andy, we loved it! Please keep doing these draw previews before every major!
My son and I loved it! Would be awesome to see a video feed of your draw as you are filling it out.
I rarely bother looking at draws till each match, BUT I will watch any live draw you work through for the slams!
Loving this video format! Thanks team. Excellent stuff.
The best podcast ever, love the honesty and direct message, need more of that more more more
Enjoyed it TREMENDOUSLY.❤❤❤ As with all your podcasts. Thank you.❤❤❤
1:11:01 well he lost in the first round. Goes to show how tennis can be hard to predict.
I love this concept for preview episodes! Unique and engaging
Would bei grately appreciated to have this Format for every Slam now. Thank you Guys☺️

Social Media makes dumb
Sorry, Andy, you're going to have to do more of this because this was amazing!
I think Novak won't go deep this time.
I think you are absolutely correct!
Great show, truly entertaining! Yes, keep the format, it’s pretty exciting to see your first reactions and bets on the draw.
Sending greetings from Germany - will be watching Zverevs trial closely too.
This was amazing! Please do this for every GS
"I have not seen the draw yet"
Boy, are you in for a treat.
Edit: Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!
Both Tabilo and Jarry out in the first round, so much for that! But there was a decent call of Sonego upsetting Humbert
Andy picks are goat
Sonego he picked just won in 5 wow 🫡
Andy, great communicator, love watching his videos
Jarry played really bad against Moutet surprised John picked him to reach the semis . He is not great in best of 5 sets .
Loved this show! Best one SO far!!!! Keep it going guys! 😀

I'd absolutely love to see more draw-reactions/predictions like this, this was fantastic
Whoa! Sinner to win, Andy? Love Sinner but that hip! Excited to see what happens! Thank you and John for the picks!
I completely with Jon at 45:33 on meritocracy and the Rafa x Sascha match. If we're going to be meritocracy then let's be totally consistent (which tennis is not). That matchup is tragic and benefits absolutely no one, neither the players nor the fans.

The Reaction was the stuff of memes. Loving your podcast, Andy. I’ll be tuning in as a regular.
great episode!
Great stuff guys!
This was excellent 😂 what you have to remember though guys, is that the Tennis Gods are the most capricious gods there are 😂
thank god for the heads up about the women's breakdown 1st, skipped straight through it.
This was great thanks a ton for this, hopefully there will be ones for Wimbledon and USO.
If your health can take it, it is good value to see your first reactions to draws Andy 🙌✨️💪
I’ve been waiting for this video!
Gracias Andy!!
Loved the reactions. I am heartbroken for Rafa❤
Sinner will struggle I think if he has to grind, round after round. I don't see him facing any opponent that will do that until potentially Jarry.
Therefore he'll be fresh and only Jarry could stop him making the SF.
Iga was injured in Rome vs. Rybakina last year guys and Stuttgart is different.
Rybakina is Swiatek's nemesis!
that rybakina jcole kendrick joke was insane🤣
Damn, hope Jon is right about Rafa in the 1st round.
Andy's reaction to Nadal v. Zverev was priceless but his reaction to Murray v. Wawrinka was hilarious. They are definitely the stand out matches for Round 1.
@57:50 ohhh what a guess!
What happened to Chile???
Musetti is very young & is a new father. Who knows how that is derailing his tennis atm. Let's see.
Why isn’t there a new episode this week?
Andy, what is the promo code for tennisplus subscription?
I'm so used seeing Andy with Babolat... Will we eventually see Andy with a Wilson's racquet on court soon?
I listened to the entire episode on Spotify, but I'm here again to watch Andy react to Rafa playing Zverev in R1, and it is the best thing I've seen in a while🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
What is the story on Pierre Herbert they reference at 34:30?
Love the goddamn swearing. Real talk without holding back.
Andy is right, seedings have to be earned. Gifting Rafa a seeding would guarantee he would start with 2 easier matches. A wildcard, though also not fair, would at least have a tougher draw than a seed.
Honored to have been a part of Andy's first glance at this years draw 😂
Andy was right about Stan and Sonego winning. Wertheim was wrong about Tabillo and Jarry losing.
Really under estimating Machac. He will upset Med

Interesting to see how it has worked out thus far😂 John, how ya feeling about the Jarry prediction?😂
Jon has a point about meritocracy and ive never seen more criticism of any Grand Slam's wildcard decisions until this year's French Open.
Starting with Thiem. Weird…
No, Roddick had the point. One thing is dumb so add more dumb things?
Because they were stupid decisions. Thiem? No wildcard? Then some others. Ridiculous
Both Rafa and Zerev could view this as a terrible first round, Rafa's is way off his best but if he gets rolling and it turns into a siege .....and Zerev does have a history and strong tendency to fade in long 4 to 5 set matches . Hot predictions in a good show!
That moment when Andy found out about Rafa Zverev in round one...🤣😂😆comedy gold!😄
Sorry round two, lol, but still so funny all the same. 42.50 I think is the time stamp

Rafa could lose in R1 or Rafa could win the tournament won't be surprised it either happened.
Loved this. Hilarious analysis 😂
