I would definitely rather replay it on a updated Xbox 360 version though, there's something about the 360 that made it simpler. Zoo, stadium, blackbird, drive in and the others were like breaks for me for the hazard golf map. Intensity rising *

all 3 game modes on this game were just perfected, master piece of a game. The only thing you could complain about coming from mw2, is sniping not being as good. But other than that, hands down my favorite cod bro.

Well we bought the DLC maps for the zombie maps let’s be honest but the multiplayer DLC maps were great in this game

I will never forget these DLCs. Every map was well thought out, and worked on pretty much any game mode unlike today were each map sorta suits one game mode and thats it. Miss playing Black Ops for 4 hours straight with the boys. Multiplayer then Zombies
My favorite cod of all time. Best weapon progression/level up system. Best perks/pro perk advancing system (minus second chance) and people complain about ghost but I never had an issue with it since people didn't know the ghost ninja meta yet. The streaks are some of my all time favorites. It was the game that introduced party games like gun game and one in the chamber, and you could wager cod points to get extra guns unlocked early on. Combat training was actually fun since you could level up in it, and zombies were incredible. Not to mention several of the maps are continuing returning favorites to multiple other cod games. It just had everything. Maybe if I had to complain about 1 thing is that the snipers were kinda poopy.
Sniping is fun in this game also easy af imo
@@danielzychniewicz2633 I'm not saying that I didn't rep the hell out of my L96A1, I'm just saying that there was 2 usable snipers and I prefer bolt action so I basically had 1 sniper. It was super fun though, especially once I learned to quick scope better.

Where NO map was bad. S&D for days. Everyone online, met new people in lobbies.. stunning stunning game. Campaign was ace! Multiplayer was just happy medium from and all the others, just so much fun to play. Then couch Zombies with the guys. Maaaan. Bring. Me. Back.
Side note: Kowloon, Discovery, Hotel, Berlin Wall, ahh do you know what I started typing and realising I like them all. I just love this game 🥺😊
Some of the best maps still. Kowloon, Stadium and Hazard were wicked with Firing range and Nuketown.

Bud you have to realize that the old CoD is not gonna come back. If they remade bo1 EXACTLY, it wouldn't play the same. The average player is just so much better than back then. There is too much information on UA-cam for best class setups. The game would be a sweatfast and everything broken about it would be amplified.

Man, I loved Black Ops DLC maps. Berlin Wall was my favorite, mainly cause I just loved running in the red area and getting killed by the turrets. I also like Hazard because while I've never played it, it was a remake of Cliffside, one of my favorite maps from World at War

This game had so many good maps! I remember coordinating with my friends on who could convince their parents to buy them the dlc then we would all download the maps from his account. Stadium and drive in we’re my favorite dlc maps! Wish I could go experience black ops 1 again for the first time
Yo Fortunate you should definitely get a group together to play the DLC maps like it’s a real lobby. Watching search and domination games on these maps with real people would be dope!

Living in the past is a sign of depression and I think a lot of people are depressed nowadays and are no longer moving forward. Just reliving times they were happy.
I absolutely loved Kowloon. There were so many cool areas to fight in with the height difference in all the buildings. Not to mention zip lining throughout the map was cool, even if I got absolutely destroyed most of the time. When it worked though, it was the best feeling.
When I saw the " drive in " map I have to admit I got hit by the nostalgia !!!!!!!!!
I’d do anything to go back to the MW2, Bo1 and mw3 era. That was some of the most fun I had with Cod and the people I played it with. Miss those times.

crazy to think that bo1 was released almost 15 years ago. Feels like it just came out a few years ago. God I remember bo1 being the few cods that I grinded the ever living shit out of and always got all the DLC day 1 and grinded those DLC maps for thousands of hours.

Black ops 1 on PS3 is poppin. I’ve been playing everyday this week and never have to wait for a TDM lobby. There was even domination, CTF, FFA, and ground war lobbies.

Berlin Wall, Drive-In, Hotel, Stadium, Convoy, Hangar 18, and Hazard for Snipes, were definitely my favorite DLC maps for BO1.

Black ops 1 was my second most played CODs with MW2 being number 1, man I really miss those days I had so much fucking fun.

This game was my childhood. I remember staying up till midnight (which seems very late at a young age) and then I would immediately get back on as soon as I would wake up. Good times man. I wish they mad call of duty as good as it used to be

My first CoD was the first Modern Warfare on Nintendo Wii. But my baby was Black Ops 1 on X360, I bought all the DLC for it and I LOVED the DLC maps, seeing Drive-In on the thumbnail reminded me of good memories, but I loved almost all of them, if not all of them. Black Ops 1 was such a great game, hope it comes back somehow

First CoD game I bought for myself and honestly, all the maps that came with the DLC all felt so unique and different, I actually felt I was getting my money's worth with every purchase. Whether they had any interactivity or not like Kowloon with the ziplines or was just a repaint of WaW's Cliffside in the form of Hazard (which made for an amusing and more lively coat of paint still), which made more traditional sniping fun once more, it was still all great. Some maps were outright goofy or too "non-serious", but they still were excellent.
I'm so glad the game still has enough life to be able to find matches in certain objectives helped along with how the current games have made people come back (even on PS3!), I hope it continues for as long as possible, I'm not ready to just leave any of these games behind yet.
Hotel, Kowloon, Berlin Wall, and Zoo are some of the best DLC maps. You should do those. Also, try the DLC maps for MW3. If you include the gunfight maps, there are a lot of them.
My favorite dlc maps from Bo1 are probably Kowloon, Hanger 18 or Berlin Wall. All the dlc maps in Bo1 were awesome. :)

I loved camping the spawn on Stadium in Hardcore Demolition. So much fun.
I remember the day I saw this game for the very first time. I was visiting one of her girlfriends with my mom. Her son played black ops 1 and I joined him playing splitscreen. At this time egoshooters were the absolute OG games for me. I think was 14 years old or something. Then I wanted this game so badly but my parents didnt let me because I was too young. Then I managed my four years older sister to buy me this game for christmas. That was the best day of my life so far. Finally I could play CALL OF DUTY OMG. I always needed to hide this game from my parents and everytime when my mom came in my room I had to pause so she doesnt see what I'm playing. Hahaha. Damn I miss this game.

I loved doing random shit in the maps like shooting the ice in discovery or using the elevator in hotel. it was the first time cod implemented that kind of stuff.

S&D is pretty active on Xbox. PS3 ofc almost everything is still active. The weird thing about S&D on Xbox is that it mixes servers, just finished a game where there were Brits & Americans at the same lobby while playing in Saudi.
I lovee the hit marker sounds and achievement sounds in this game. Its so much for satisfying.
Stadium was my personal favorite. I love how they brought it back in BO2

On pc you can get mod called Bot Warfare, that allowes you to play all the modes with bots, rank up and even prestiege in combat training. You can get it at moddb site. For black ops 2 you can just get PlutoniumT6 or ReactBo2 to play and even rank up with bots in custom games or in lobby.

My cousin and I would play on nuketown against veterans bot. We would just put on a ridiculously high amount of points to drag the game longer, and would camp the shit outta the two houses. We would pretty much do that for an hour or until we get tired. Man the nostalgic days.

Discovery, Kowloon, and Zoo were my favorites. Didn't get the last pack because of Hazard... that was the first remade map in CoD, that was in CoD4 or later.

You can play a couple with people, it depends what server is open as PC has server browsing instead of putting you into one randomly.

Hazard was my favorite Dlc map in BO1 though. G11 was made for that map! Run Napalm, Chopper Gunner and Hind Gunship! Air support was amazing on that map! Or you could trade out Napalm for Rolling Thunder or blackbird. 🙃🍯

I play it every other day on bo1 in the UK and can play all these maps on xbox, never have an issue and if I do just search the recent players. Try exiting out of search and rejoin until you find a lobby, usually these are at least a couple of pretty full lobbies that are active all the time. Try 12pm onwards uk time.
Am working first part of this week but by the end of the week I will post some of the best players names that are on every day so if you can search there names you should be able to join the lobby. Peace
