This. This game was my introduction to Call of Duty. There is nothing greater, finer, with replayability than this game. The franchise has suffered so greatly in the last few years. A remaster of this game is needed.
Edit: a remaster with leaving the game how it was made. Just refined for new systems. No battle pass, no supply drops, no frills.

The way they remaster and ruin the legacy of old games by implementing crazy cosmetics and new mechanics, i wouldn't want them to remaster Black ops 1 because this was the greatest cod in my opinion and i know if activision did remaster bo1 it would ruin the good memories i had playing this and hurt its legacy.

They need to start caring a lot more about the fanbase than the money & start going back to making COD the classic traditional way again.
The fact that people still play this game over the new ones shows a lot how great this game was and still is. Call of duty as a whole needs to go back to its roots and listen the community to make a good COD game.
The problem is half the community doesn’t know what it wants! I’m not defending Call of Duty by any means, but the community has become toxic, and part of the problem nowadays as well. Nostalgia gets the best of us but the truth is if BO1 and BO2 got released today people would pick it apart because the community is never happy, and we have higher expectations today.
the main problem with that is the community that want old school cods again are only a slight fraction of the overall cod playerbase. all the old heads that played these games in their prime dont play cod anymore (if you dont count content creators) the cod community is made up of kids or people that started playing bo3 or after so they are happy with the new shit show we get now. MTX and messy games is all they know.

I love the lobby music in Black Ops 1 and just absolutely love the game itself. Best Call of Duty ever made IMO. I think I had several accounts on PS3 and Xbox all prestige 15 with all guns golden at least on Xbox. I would literally die happy of they just made the remastered version of this game, I think they wouldn’t even have to upgrade graphics too much, just make it run on PS4, PS5

Just turned 26, I remember picking up this game when I was around 16-17. Went all the way to 15th prestige basically playing free for all. Id play other game modes just to get my pro perks unlocked. This was also my first COD that I seriously grinded out and had over 90 days played 👑🔥Hands down still my favorite FPS and COD. This seriously need to remaster this game, but they won't..

This brings back so much nostalgia. Me and my mates all playing as a team, verbally abusing 10yr olds while we absolutely dominated match after match while laughing the whole way. Brilliant times. Best gaming experience of my life.
One cool thing that I loved in BO were the counters at the bottom of the home screen displaying strange informations... feeling old 😔

This will forever by my favorite COD, this era in general was the best for COD. Mw2-BO2 will forever be the era I enjoyed the most.
Maybe it's just the fact that this is being recorded, but I swear that despite the color palate, I can see enemies better here than on BOCW and MW19. I cannot speak for Vanguard, but something tells me that it's also a cluttered invisible mess.
It's better on all classic games...these days it's worse...
The BO1 AK-47 has to be the best iteration of it in a Call Of Duty game. Used to wreck lobbies with it back in the day.

dlc on bo1 has always been more populated than for example mw2 and mw3 because a lot of people bought the dlc for the zombies maps

Idea is WW3 broke out and the UN have a plan to get out of earth safely, securely, strongly. But you the protagonist who was working for Space X go through a multiple choice story with endings of the communist superpowers in control of the world and get to mars first or you get to mars but fail to make it habitable or you get to mars and make it habitable but you are not given any recognition and your whole life wanted fame “like shepherd” so you either tell the communist that your at mars and bla bla or you sit and wait until the next sequel. I can go more in depth if you want the next one would be about re taking earth and stuff

Waiting a minute for a match to start, when the lobby starts counting down, the host leaves, and have to wait another minute for the match to start. If they remastered the game, they could fix this and add new guns, and really Nerf, buff some other guns, they could definitely have another decent CoD

Make sure you don't have dlcs installed and check recent players if you still can't find lobbies
Tdm and s&d are the only populated game modes

This game is still very alive here in Brazil. You can find lobbies very easily, but not for dlc because dlc in general here never really made any success.
Ps3 has so many COD players on every COD , very easy to find games , Mw3 & Bo1 has the most player count imo and it's 2022 , amazing ! ❤️

I loved watching vids of the devs explaining the thought process through every DLC map… first time I went prestige 15 with 40+ in game days. I loved this game so much.
Mw2 is actually still loaded up. People are populating the older CODs Again for the nostalgia. MW2 is my favorite COD Then BO1 Then COD4 modern warfare . It’s ironic because even the newer games can’t top my top 3 of the older games. If I had to pick tho I would go with black ops 2 and 3 then modern warfare !! Not gonna lie, I was BEGGING to Treyarch to bring back "Kowloon" to Cold War, shame it didn't happen but at least "Zoo" returned.
Seeing Zoo in Black Ops 1 really highlights how much more atmosphere the game had compared to Cold War

I still remember being sick from middle school the day this came out and my mom woke me up in the middle of the night to show me she picked up the hardened edition for me at the launch ( love you Mom ) and despite how shitty I felt I popped it in and had so much fun I can’t even explain. Playing combat training, kino, reaching level 10 to play online omg I love this game
I remember looking forward to dlc map packs for MW2, BO1 & 2, that where amazing, and now a days youll be lucky if you get a new good map, pretty much a lot of remakes that dont feel or play the same as the originals, love your content your video's have brought back memories!
Bo1 and bo2 are legendary
BO1 is one of my top CODs ever, from a much simpler time with such unique setting and atmosphere.
If only M$ could enhance these old classics, fix the lobby issues, make DLC free and bring them to gamepass, that would be sweet.
The sadist thing is that if you create a new account to play these old COD games you can't save progress... only having the 3 starter classes forever ruins the game for me :(

I played COD as a kid starting with MW1 and ended with BO1. I’d say of all 4 COD’s between that time, BO1 was the best. MW2 multiplayer was slightly better IMO but black ops 1 had zombie mode which til this day is one of the best zombie modes of all time
The maps on black ops one, especially DLC are all time greats. So many nostalgic memories on this all time great game.
Zoo holds such a fond memory In my heart matching up with my 6 man against my old best friend from Floridas 6 man in and it went 7 rounds we won barely it was intense

Please change the setting so it displays their level next to their tag, I get ptsd when I see a tag without a level because of invisible god mode players back in the day

Black ops 1 I feel like had the best maps overall of any cod. MW2 had some good ones but BO1 I can't really think of a "bad" map. The dlc maps were amazing... Kowloon was so much fun for me back then.

They can have more than double. A knife will always be a 1 hit kill in any case but God. Same with dogs and ballistic knife.

Every time I see someone modding like that , I usually go for headshots on them, Body shots won’t kill them only knife , tomahawk, or headshot. Unless they are actually using god mode

@@dementionalpotato the only reason why i have 1 double health class is because i used to play free for all and get to 29 kills and trickshot last. im from Australia and i would be on 1 a or 2bar connection, i would use my modded classes to gain a lead cause the connections were actual dogs ass. id take it off once i got to 29 so people could get free kills on me once i started spinning in circles. quite a lot of people i talked to in game chat actually didnt mind it at all, as long as they got free kills on me and could possibly still win the game themselves it was fair for them. i dont do it anymore only cause the game is dead lol

Back when video games were made for the fans and legacy. Now they're only made for profit and no care at all for the game. Vanguard released not complete and very buggy with almost no features. A WW2 game with Snoop Dogg, Anime Characters, ect...
