Hi @@brandonlucas15 . You will only need to press the black switch in a second time if the brass peg doesn’t leave the channel at the same time as the side pods being released. Some mechanisms are a lot smoother than others and I have come across a few that need a second press to release the visor. Thank you for watching our video and thank you for leaving me a comment 👍
Hi Katharine. It is great to read that our video helped you. If there are any other video’s we could do that you think would be helpful then please let us know in a comment. Thank you
@@mymoto-uk Np. A guy at the clothing/parts shop showed me how the other day, but I needed to see it again when my new visor came in. This made it much simpler.
Hi Boa. The old system was very easy and quick, if you knew what you were doing. If you didn’t, it was very tricky. The big advantage to this mechanism is that it is now duel axis.
@@mymoto-uk I have the first RX7-XX where you only have to pull as you can see on old TT footage, and a Chaser-V that is a kind of mix between old and new system. To be sure I prefer to remove the covers like in the new system. So for me it's an improvement of previous system but the first RX7 is still my favourite. Ultra rapid and easy but it tends to crack the covers.
By far the best and simplest video on the visor change. Thank you!
It’s our pleasure Rohan. We’re glad it helped 👍

@@mymoto-uk Yes thank you again. It's straight forward, when you're shown. A very good, non-padded out tutorial.
Wonderful explanation ! Thanks a lot from France !
From one Philip to another, thank you for watching and especially thank you for leaving me a comment 👍
Came to check how tricky it is after Dunlop's visorgate
ahah same
Good video but you still have to press the black arrow tab while you were getting the brass pin in position for the red dot. That’s the key.

Now do a video about how to remove and put back the linings in the quantic!
On it's way. 👍
Hi AlcatrazMeow. Our new video about how to remove a Quantic lining is now on our channel. We hope you like it 👍
The old system was easier. You only had to pull the visor.
