Right now, I'm even feeling sorry for the voice actresses of the US version of "BanG Dream!" for having suffered such a bad reputation for making the characters' voices sound more mature than the normal. This goes for the voices of Kaoru, Kokoro, Hagumi, Kanon, Rimi and Saya as well. They don't fit well with the characters we're used to hearing in the original version. Not to mention that Sentai not only cast well-known veteran voice actresses, but also brought in unknown actresses who came from an amateur talent agency - they've never been involved in dubbing before. This must be the main reason why the dub of "BanG Dream! 2nd Season" is such a huge failure; so much so that no one wants to touch this subject to this day, neither the fans nor the voice actresses. They could have done better. But at least the voice acting left the impression that they formed a funny interactivity in various parts of Episode 4. A bit cheesy, but it's worth it.

And then why the f*ck do half the characters switch pitch.. The high pitched Kokoro and Hagumi are now lower, and Kaoru sounds like a kid in comparison to her Hakanai voice.. Also, you can just say LITTLE KITTENS. Not Kitty Cats"!!
Kaoru and Misaki’s English voices are pretty darn good, but I wish the former’s English voice was slightly deeper and vice-versa for Kokoro (but in 4:49 she actually sounds more like her Japanese voice! And that giggle at 5:20 is adorable!🥰), Hagumi, and Kanon…🥲 At least the English scriptwriters pretty much directly translated the original Japanese transcript.🙂🙂↕️ (unlike 4Kid’s English transcripts) Most of the time, that is. And no hate for Juliet Simmons, aka JubyPhonic, at all!😄 I like Kasumi’s English voice better than Kokoro’s because it sounds closer to her Japanese voice. I could tell that JubyPhonic is one of the few cast members of Bandori’s English dub (along with veteran Houston-based Anime VAs Hilary Haag and Brittney Karbowski) who actually put an effort to sound similar to the original Japanese voice or like an actual teenager
