- Khadgar (Ben Schnetzer) travels to meet the all powerful Alodi (Glenn Close), a half-elven mage, in hopes of saving the possessed Medivh (Ben Foster).

i love that their tune changes immediately, they are clearly arrogant and and scornful to him but as more serious info comes up thats all just forgotten. its also funny that the same actor playing the head of the mages is also durotan

I honestly don't understand why they chose to have Khadgar go to Dalaran and everything for literally an extremely short scene. It doesn't add to any of the world building because we spend so little time there. Figuring out Medivh is corrupted could definitely have been done at the tower.
