I love Pierogi's but all I can find out here in So. Cal. are the frozen kinds, we buy them occasionally and still enjoy them, but they are not nearly as good as fresh. My sister and brother in law stopped at a little Polish shop in Florida before Christmas and picked up some Cherry Pierogi, Fresh Kielbasa and Potato and Cheese Pierogi, I was pretty jealous when she told me about them. Oh mercy those look good Kathy. I like how you fried them in butter and they have some crunch. Most Folks around here don’t know what a pierogie is. They are usually called fried pies or filled dumplings. I’d like to try the potato ones cooked like that.
I am having their potato and sauerkraut pierogies right now. I get them at Thomson's Meat Market, and I have been eying the apple ones. Maybe they would be similar to apple dumplings if baked.

I don't think I have apple perogies where I live at but I know Amazon has everything. So I can buy a box of Apple pierogies off of Amazon and try this. And it looks so good
