I remember watching my dad play this in 2006. Now after all these years, i have watched akira and ghost in the shell movies, the soundtrack and action remind me a lot of ghost in the shell. And music/horror is obviously that japanese horror movie style, though i have not watched even a singe the ring movie. I would absolutely love a ghost in the shell game done with utmost respect to source material, manga and the first movie(though i do love sac and 2nd gig also). And with accompaning gameplay with action and possibly cyberpunk noire crime solving.
Whenever I hear those grenade toss queues, I'd immediately tap into my Enhanced Reflexes just so I could shoot them mid-air like David did in Edgerunners.
F.e.a.r 2 brought me here but I vaguely remember hearing this in fear 1, also in fear 2 all I can hear Is "MISSILES ARMED." F.E.A.R had better ai than present day fps games

No problem, yeah the audience prefers Call of Duty, Minecraft, Battlefield, and sports games. But you're absolutely right, the majority do play multiplayer games. But the minority like me and you deserve the love as well like with Cuphead, Evil Within 2, Resident Evil 7 and Wolfenstein for this year. I just find it so hard to believe that Overwatch would have a GOTY over Uncharted 4 it blows my mind because that game has a full package and it's amazing it is the best visually game ever made so far and that's no joke I wish the game was on PC it would be so fucking beautiful. I think Overwatch just got the praise because it was a Blizzard title and was marketed very well and to me their newer games are shit compared to the older games they've made.
To be fair I never enjoyed this battle too much. This game's combat only works really well in close to medium range with lots of cover and walls around so that you can be mobile. It's not for when you're stuck behind a single piece of cover and it's not good for long distances, which is how I would describe the garage battle. On Extreme difficulty that is anyways. The music is a good choice thematically, it's just that the environment doesn't suit the gameplay much.
The music screams "move!" and that's what you need to do, it is a sprint into the surface with no stop behind any cover. using the cars, the woods, the trucks, anything all while moving towards the enemy. I always played that section in this form and only died because of my own stupidity. Besides if you kind of know how to handle it, it can be done within minutes due to the enemy having a worse position than you because they are taken completely by surprise.
Kinda random but those Replica helicopter pilots are probably some of the best positions in the entire game since they don't have to deal with whatever is taking place on the ground specifically having to deal with Point Man and Alma lmao. For Extraction Points case they don't get shredded by Alma's shades. I'm assuming the helicopter has auto pilot in the event they shut down though.

It's ironic that this game primarily tried to sell itself on being a horror game, and not a normal FPS, which it actually had some of the best enemy AI in FPS history, but very little actual horror in it.
