Where did you put it in your pedal board lineup mine is the first one than wah then distortion and so on and it gets all weird sounding do I need a separate amp to plug it into by itself please help 😢
@@rockman49er I read it should be the last pedal on your board. So that's where I put mine. But sold it and replaced it with a drum pedal/looper. The Beat Buddy was a great pedal. I needed to make space on my board.
Antón MCR , the midi sync is only available on the X4. Without it, it is near impossible to synchronise the loop and the beat, they always go out of sync eventually. Seems like only the £250+ loopers have midi sync.
Hey there, we recommend plugging the BeatBuddy direct into a PA, mixer, or full-range speaker. A full-range speaker can include a bass amp, keyboard amp, acoustic/vocal amp, etc. It's best to omit the BeatBuddy in your pedal chain to reduce unwanted noise. Also, make sure not to plug your BeatBuddy into your guitar amp as the tone from the amp can dampen the drum sounds, and it may blow out your speaker.
Hello, tell me please. Is it possible to download the finished drum track for the whole song in wav format. ??? and play a concert without a drummer, only through this pedal. thanks
I got one and i LOVE IT. It was a toss up between this and the TRIO this one won why??????? The drum sounds way better. I did like the added bass function on the trio but in the end it just feels much better to have these nice sounding drums with the fills and transitions. Top Notch oh and the foot switch is worth getting for pause function and crashes.
Snooze00 I have the beatbud, trio, and sdrum. The sdrum sounds the best in the mix and is far more intuitive and creative in my opinion. The beat buddy could of been great but the software sucks as s. I have spent house on a drum track only to have it glitch freeze and erase my drum loops. They really didn’t know what they were doing with the software and the whole thing riders on the software the way it is setup
They have produced a top-of-the-range main pedal but why such a poor additional footswitch? If you are thinking of live performance in semi-loud situations the footswitch is fine. However, be warned, the switches make an awful noise. I would not take them into the studio for recording. Their tech man checked out my video and said that the level of noise was 'normal' for them. You can hear the clunk of the switch as well as the squeak of the spring, all amplified by the enclosure.
Do you have your guitar going through the Bear buddy? Would you get distortion, reverb, delay, or what every on the beat? This makes not sense to me -- need info on how you have this connected.
2000SkyView you have the beatbuddy at the end of your chain (or 2nd from end if you’re using a looper). That way no additional effects will be added to the drums
I have a Beat Buddy, BB footswitch360 looper, tube screamer, delay, wah, and tuner. There’s some ugly screeching going on ..how can. I line them up without all that racket?
If you decide to chain it, it should be at the end of the chain, otherwise your BB output signal would be effected by the other effects. I personally did not chain it. I dont use the input plug and the output goes directly into separat channel of a mixer.
Nice!!! Is that a fender telecaster or did you have it made customize your guitar by someone who does great guitars model look alike? The Drum machine pedals is Nice. Have a superb blessed time. Thank you for making this tutorial
Cool but man you are TOOO loud. I can't hear what the pedal's doing. Then again I did just sit in front of a cranked plexi this morning and may be a little deaf at the moment...
Love the beat buddy. Just made my first pedal board and the b.b. is on board.

@@lorettasiegrist9334 thanks
Love that Latin beat and the sweet riff you play over it!
Does the beat buddy play out of your amp you are using for your guitar? If so how do you control volume and distortion with the beat buddy?
Just check your B string! Sorry, I love your vids and vibe that, very helpful and inspiring
the beginning sounds like the music for P90x hahahah. great vid man, always an inspiration.
Awesome amazing
Great video! I’ve got a Beatbuddy and use it with a Ditto X4 looper, using a midi cable to sync the tempo... Both are great bits of gear 🤘🏼
Do you think it'd work with the first Ditto or the Ditto x2?
Antón MCR , the midi sync is only available on the X4. Without it, it is near impossible to synchronise the loop and the beat, they always go out of sync eventually. Seems like only the £250+ loopers have midi sync.
Thanks for referencing the X4 looper.. I have 2 of them. Beat Buddy is on my radar...
What a great guitar player…
Like ;you stuff, your having fun. I was looking to see where in the pedal chain the Beatbuddy goes. Or is it a separate amp into the effects channel?

That second chord progression reminds me a lot of RK's "Doin' What The Devil Says To Do" ;) Love that tune! Awesome video/playing as always Mike!
haha it is indeed, With that drum beat, it hit the nail on the head :)

Snooze00 I prefered it over the Trio for the exact same reasons.
The drums are way better in this one.

Awesome review!

Hopefully it's made you want to even more :)

The name 'Beatbuddy' makes me think something else than a guitar pedal...
haha disgusting mind! :)

can you use any other switching pedal instead of buying the beat buddy switch?
Yes you can.
How does this work with other pedals and where in the pedal chain would it go?

This is what I was looking for
How's it compare to a trio band creater?
Nice!!! Is that a fender telecaster or did you have it made customize your guitar by someone who does great guitars model look alike? The Drum machine pedals is Nice. Have a superb blessed time. Thank you for making this tutorial
It's a 60th anniversary Fender Tele, thank you for the kind words, means a lot.
Is the beat buddy pedal hooked up to your guitar amp? Doesn’t affect the sound of your other pedal?
Nice video! Does this play out of your amp or a separate speaker?
Can do both :)
pone los cuernos y sintoniza
it’s made to go FRFR and is not recommended to use with an amp. Per the manual.
