Yep. I played this game for years not knowing about the supers until when I was playing against my brother one day and as button mashing goes, accidentally discovered these supers. FYI Cyclopsis is the number one badass of all. Nearly foamed at the mouth when I saw that super saiyan animation and freaking out like "whhaaaaaaaa??!!"
One of Dragonzord's regular attacks, done by holding Strong Attack for 2 seconds and then releasing, is to quickly combine with the others, attack with his drill staff, and then go back to normal. His super move incorporates that animation.
LOL I just decided to search this today for some unknown reason... And I'm glad to see your vid. This game and these hidden supers were good memories. Finding them out and wondering if anybody else out there knew about them.
Bro, I hve done every single move. U can get evil Green Ranger by doing the same motion at the beginning of the game. I thought i had imagined these also b/c i never ever found any documentation. Good shit!
I discovered the command for many (maybe all) of this attacks. The command is (at least for the Power Rangers super gun) Half Cercle (Back-Down-Forward) 6 times and a button, is a very stupid command, no surprise that this attacks only appeared in button mashing years ago.

Dude I used to be amazing at this game, I always loved being cyclopisis because you can use his super move at the beginning of the match before it starts and you can TKO an opponent with out them being able to move. Madam Woe's ability is also a bitch because it's so hard to block. I did't have any idea about dragonzords ability - but that looked b.s. Also, that gun thing the green ranger does... I believe you can do it with any ranger.
i can vouch for that because i had fun using these hidden powers..only if you was a game freak at a young age you tried all types of tactic..kinda like eternal champion moves or holding buttons for seconds..i pretty had the mindset merging moves

Well today's your lucky day (I guess). I'll just cut right to it. To do the Super Moves in this video you have to do: 1xHCF, 1xHCB, 1xHCF, 1xHCB, 1xHCF, 1xHCB, 1xHCF Then A or B HCF is Half Circle Forward and HCB is Half Circle Back. Pretty much you just roll your fingers over the d-pad forward then back. You don't have to do it too fast either. Though it HAS to be a half circle. I couldn't make the move happen by just pressing Back,Down,Forward,Down,Back and so on. I tested this many AND many times and from my knowledge this could very well be the actual command of the move since it always works! How did I figure this out? Well I took the details of the desription and pretty much did 1Pv2P for about 10 minutes until I figured it out. I might make a longplay of this game using that broken move Dragon Zord has.
HCF is Half-circle Forward. You pretty much start by pressing back and then rolling your finger to down and then to forward. It is what it is. A half circle really. HCB is Half-circle Backward. The same thing but backwards pretty much. You start from pressing forward and then leading to down and then to back. This is assuming your character is on the left side by the way. You press A OR B right after doing the last half circle forward motion. If you don't play fighting games often or don't know basic fighting game move motions then its gonna be really hard to do (not that HCF is a common term, just an abbreviation).
I've just sat and mashed out the Dragon Zord's and Minotaur's hidden move by removing 'up' from my controller to try and narrow the inputs. There's definitely some sort of hcf / hcb motion involved. The game's leniency for inputting moves is high so the actual input becomes even more of a mystery. You can literally press forward down back and a button to bring out a special move. I truly doubt the devs would make the move so difficult though.
I just popped this onto my Wii homebrew and remembered that I had discovered some secret blaster move with one of the rangers back when I was a kid, and never could figure out how to do it consistently. Funny timing, since you were interested in this same subject just 2 months ago :)
Ok yeah, I just sat and rotated the d-pad 360 degrees repeatedly while constantly pressing the Fierce button, and got it to work with Dragonzord pretty quickly. Once the crazy animation starts, all you have to do is keep pressing Fierce (or Normal, it worked with both) quickly to keep the attack going. It will go forever. I was also able to get it to work with Cyclops and Green Ranger. It's much harder with them because they don't have charging moves. Can't do it consistently with anyone, and can't figure out what the actual combo is. I think repeatedly pressing the attack button has something to do with it.
I made a video covering the gameplay and mechanics of the game and have some footage of me mashing the move out. It's still a bloody mystery though. No one knows how to perform them properly. I can keep mashing a hcb motion only to get a hcf special move out of it. That's why I say the input leniency is so forgiving making figuring out inputs that much harder. Ah well. That's a quirk of the game. Still wish I was able to perform it on command.
I gotta think about the health of my d-pad so I'll have to bow out in the mean time. Next time I get a new controllervI'll give it another whirl. Surely someone must know. We need a bloody team.
Bro, no AR cheats. I discovered these back in the day on my Genesis while playing against a cousin. I did use an emulator to record this video, as this was a spur of the moment video reply to a topic about cheap moves in fighting games.

Man, I've only ACCIDENTALLY pulled off Megazord's and Cyclopsis' moves. I have no idea how to do these attacks, I got to this video trying to find how to do them, lol. I had already tried doing the 360 rotation as you say in the description, just tried it again (I still have the cartridge and genesis XD) but I just can't get it right :|. Even spamming 360 rotations with turbo on, I can't make it happen.
okay, Im losing my mind, after seeing this, I totally tried the dragonzord trick, pulled it off, but look closely, he turns into another megazord entirely, and its the mega dragonzord, why does he do that? someone please explain that to me?

I remember pulling it off with a Pre Program Controller back in the days. The power ranger can all do it too. They pull out their blaster and shoot this huge blast that can 1-2 shot kill anyone. It's to bad there isn't an official way of pulling off the move without going ape crazy on the control. =\

I'm mashing. The only character I've tried is Dragon Zord. Don't need full meter and it favours a 360 motion towards your opponent. Doesn't matter which button is pressed either. However, you gotta spam the attack button to keep it going. Help me figure them out too!

I found them out when button mashing as a kid then narrowed it down to a rotation of the D pad

Green Ranger's power blaster super is OP, it takes full screen and the radius of the shot as well. This game was fun as fuck!

These werent cheats, I've done some of these moves back in the day by accident but still have no idea how to do them

after further research, these were done using pro action replay cheats, most likely in a pc emulator. uploader is still pathetic for lying though.
