Great Bus Biff. I bet you always dreamt of that status inn the early days of Coast, Sob etc and the Changes in Barnsley. Those non the less where great days and me and my mates sat and watched you there many times. I remember at one period you the band were using H&H amps with all their colourful dials on them and I one day dreamt of having those as well as the Cherry Red SG that the guitarist at that time has. I've got the SG but not the H&H [they went bust] so i have a couple of nice amps now a Marshall and a few Fenders Amps too. No bus though!
Great little video. I was at that show in St. Charles and did the meet and greet. That usually takes place on the bus but since they were running late (due to the filming of this video) and it was raining out, the meet and greet took place during the sound check which was just as cool. Nice to see the inside of bus finally.
We got to see soundchecks as part of the meet & greets on a regular basis this autumn. It was cool. First we attended the soundcheck, then went on stage to meet them and got group photos - everybody in the photo for the band's social media, then each and every one of us got a photo with a band, then we went to the bar/ any table-like thing around and they signed stuff and you could get more individual photos with each and every band member... I may have been the one who started this last thing when I got an individual photo with Biff. 🤔 All very relaxed, not rushed, not assembly line style, they even ask if anyone still wants anything else before leaving. At the show in Stuttgart, I brought them a box of truffles from a chocolate shop I first went into because I thought the name resembled "Lucifer". I told Biff about it and he took a closer look at the label - "oh, it does!" 😂 I was honestly expecting a "your head's screwed on the wrong way, kid..." kind of reaction... 😂 For anyone considering the meet & greet and still unsure: it's more than worth it! I only regret not going to more shows. They're such an exciting live band and such lovely humans!

Seems to be the exact same one that Queensryche had two years later, they also had Marilyn Monroe in the bathroom. Edit: I just watched the Uli Jon Roth video, and it seems like his band may have had this bus right before Saxon. Biff said that they switched buses, and Uli Jon Roth finished his US tour that spring March 18th, and Saxon started theirs March 9th. Some of my favorite artists on the same bus!

This video was filmed pretty early in the day. I don't believe this conflicted with the meet & greet. I believe we filmed this around 1pm that day.

It depends based on the bands budget and priorities. Some bands will get "day-rooms" at hotels so they can shower.
