    Hi ,thanks for wonderful tutorial , canu have to use gel colous mixed with rejuvenator

    • @FiveTwoBaker
      @FiveTwoBaker  3 роки тому

      Hi! So I googled rejuvenator, but I’m not sure what it is. If it has a high alcohol content then it’ll work. I use vodka bc it evaporates off the cake and does so quickly. I hope this helps!

    Hi becky! Omg i love thisss ❤️❤️ anyway what is those green moss made of?

    • @FiveTwoBaker
      @FiveTwoBaker  3 роки тому +1

      Jess Im so glad! Thank you! ❤️ the green moss is simply a very thin sponge cake. The type you use to make roll cakes. Just careful! The first time I wrapped the cake in it it shrunk overnight! 🙈 i guess input it on too soon.

    Plz tell me can I use gel coilours mixed with rejuvenator ,or powder colours ? Thanks

    • @FiveTwoBaker
      @FiveTwoBaker  3 роки тому

      I’m not certain what rejuvenator is, but you can use powdered colors. Powdered colors will work with vodka, or with cocoa butter. Vodka dries quickly and evaporates. And cocoa butter will set quickly, however, for cocoa butter with powdered color, the cocoa has to be melted and stay over something warm so it doesn’t harden on your work palette. I hope this helps!

    Which brand did you use for the white please? I find it hard getting a lighter colour on top of a darker colour- especially a dark blue/ black/red ! 😫 xx

    • @FiveTwoBaker
      @FiveTwoBaker  3 роки тому +1

      I use americolor white. It’s a little funny bc it sort of separates when I mix with vodka, but it works. I do notice though I have to completely wait for my other color to dry before applying white if I want it to show well. I hope this helps!

    Are u using buttercream or fondant on cake ?

    • @FiveTwoBaker
      @FiveTwoBaker  3 роки тому +1

      This is fondant. I generally cover the entire cake in fondant, then paint, but you can also paint on fondant first, then cut out your painting with a sharp exacto knife and place only that on the cake if you prefer to not to cover your whole cake with it. Does that answer it? ❤️
