Thank you for the heads up, did not realize the vents were different from left to right. my luck I would have put them in the wrong side. when something is 50:50 I always seem to get it wrong
Great job your doing on Jade! It does make it so much easier to fit and put in the dash pad when the windshield is out! Keep the videos coming, Big Thumbs Up!
I thankful that your sharing your progress; it's exciting. I sold a '66 Coupe in the '90's to a father and son. They came back months later and pressured me to comb through every nook and cranny of my storage in search of trim-strips for the dash pad. They said the pad's trim was not available in the aftermarket and the bone-yards were picked clean. Unfortunately I didn't have those strips. I'm curious if the trim carried into later years.
Really appreciate the videos. I am working on a 71 Cougar convertible and what you are doing here helps me greatly. Would appreciate if you could tell me what specifically you did to "clean up" the center vent. Thanks again.
@Jo Daddy's Garage neither have I. But I am redoing the interior of my latest mustang. And I have to take it off. Just got to thinking, I've never seen a video on one of those. Lol
Since you’re using the vintage air system, did you reinstall a factory heater core and heater box setup? Or is a different one required that’s compatible with the VA system?
@@JoDaddysGarage upon further investigating, I found out that 1969 and later, all automakers put their vin numbers on the drivers side dash. Before then it was very random, steering columns, door posts etc...
Barry that interior is starting to shine I am happy for you your efforts are paying off
Had to double check and make sure I didn't miss the package shelf install. Looks amazing so far!
Wow looking better every time thumbs up 👍 👌
Yee Haw!!!! Coming along more and more!!!!

Nice to see the project progressing 😁
She is really coming along. Want be long before you are driving her.

I used Quick-Glo. And a microfiber cloth.
What about the knee pad. Or lower dash pad. There are no videos out there showing how to remove or replace them.
Haven’t had to do those

Barry, a little coffe an a couple of gobs an your dialed in. Carry on, Terry.
Looking good but you finished the AC install without me... :) Looks like you might need a hand when you get to installing the windshield.
I need to get a new windshield… mine is pretty rough
Thank you for your videos
hi barry jade is looking very good
Hey, thanks
@@JoDaddysGarage how have you been going well i hope .
Awesome video. Do the screws go through the dash trim and pad to the metal dash underneath, or just into the dashpad? Thanks
All the way into the metal underneath.
@@JoDaddysGarage thank you

Never mind. Just found Brooklyn Pony 46C, which clarifies a lot.
I have videos on the install of all the vintage air kit in this series.
Barry I still feel that your short videos are going to “set you free”.
Thats odd that your vin# is on the passenger side?? Must not of had a standard back then.
That was the standard. At least for the 67 and 68 Mustangs.
