I am curious why this person made a video and didn't include a step-by-step explanation of what he is doing? Fortunately, I have been doing prints for years but for those people watching, a detailed explanation of what and why would be great. At any rate, great video.
i mean, you wouldn't ask people who make asmr woodworking videos to explain each and every step haha. Some videos are meant to be educational, some are meant to be entertaining ;)
Do you have to keep the plate from oxidizing afterwards? Or do you do your run of prints and discard the plate. It seems like the green oxide would ruin a plate if it was left out too long over a period of years.

Mezzotint is a dedicated process. I remember rocking a plate for 40+ hours....the end result is impressive though!!
