That's the essence of blitzkrieg. Attack the enemy faster than he mobilizes the army. Only problem was that USSR did not need to mobilize the army, its citizens themselves did not want to give up, and wanted to fight as partisans without mobilization.

I don’t think USSR really cared about Siberia. If Japanese attacked at the same time as Germany, the time that Staline learns that he lost thousands hectares of desert h would have already won the war xD
Crk Crk maybe not before 1941, but after that, USSR moved the entirety of their industry to the Urals, in Siberia (okay granted its the western most zone of Siberia), to protect it from the Germans, an attack by Japan from the east would have threatened their new industrial base, and forced USSR to expend resources holding the Japanese back. Also, by NOT involving the Americans with the attack on Pearl Harbour, America can’t get directly involved in the war due to politics at the time (America was going through an Isolationist phase). Because of this, the most they can do is send supplies to the Allies and USSR, but ultimately, these lend leases may not have been enough to turn the tide, had the Axis been smart and coordinated properly.
And okay, yes, you can make the argument that USSR just puts a beat down on Japan before turning around to deal with Germany, but that wouldn’t work either. YES, they might beat the Japanese land forces especially if they got help from the Chinese, but Japan had the superior fleet (since they wouldn’t lose it against the Americans), so they’d never be able to take the Japanese archipelago. Meanwhile, Germany is making slow but sure progress against the Russian rearguard, towards Moscow.
Two front wars are almost ALWAYS a no win scenario for the nation on the receiving end, and you need only look at what ACTUALLY happened during WWII, to see the truth in that.
Japan had gotten punched pretty hard in the face by the soviet armored group and the red army infantry working together pretty early in the war iirc and Japan decided that they just wouldn't fight the soviets.

The Italian army was left with no orders, some decided to join the nazis, others the allies and a civil war started between the King and mussolini. Only then began to form antifasist partisan groups
