Hate to break it to you but Germany used methamphetamine even before the war so they can work more. hilarious but the use of meth on the german side has been highly exaggerated, yes they issued em early in the war but the use was highly restricted as it was aware that it only gave temporary benefits after which the troops that used it became combat ineffective for some time
