Just a point here. You mention that a max CL deck costs $500-$600. If someone wants to earn SPS, why would they go and spend $500 on cards, instead of just spending $500 on SPS? You would get MORE sps immediately, and if you DID want to play you could simply sell off a small portion of your staking rewards to rent cards. I hear a lot of content creators say "A deck only costs X dollars" but then they dont go and spend "only" that much on SPS. Take you for instance, youve mentioned wanting a million SPS for several years. Why don't you purchase SPS if you want SPS? I dont see the benefit to cards being "you can earn SPS" If I want SPS ill just buy it...
@untamedsarge the only way we support the team is by purchasing the current set from the store, the rebellion set. Buying SPS isn't supporting the team at all. Neither is Buying a max CL deck. Yes, it is showing belief in the project, but it doesn't support anything for the company...
There is easy way for you to check Bulldogs collection. Also you could show it to your audience. At least it would be decent before you say that people that posted comment got it wrong. There is one particular thing that constantly bother me and that is phrases they use such as: “You dont understand….” “There will be….” “You need to…” “Just a little push….” Meanwhile truth is labelled as “salt” and reality as “negativity”.
They made their dough and decided to go. All of those people you mentioned were good friends, great streamers, and very bullish about Splinterlands. Some people just want "immediate returns" and don't look at the LONG GAME. Those are called traders. Folks like myself and the producer of this video are looking at the long game. The problem child, Aggroed is gone. Matt has the rudder. I am confident in the young man. Smart and steady. That is who I want "steering my boat". Some people have "jumped ship". Many will be back. Assets move from weak hands into iron hands. That's all. And at some point the selling will be over. The wild cards I bought during the last weeks and months have already more than doubled in value.

Barron was on point with the problem of grain and land being oversupplied for 2 years and the best part of land being put in rebellion cards so endless oversupply
Everyone making videos yet here on the game is constantly proving my main issue. Y'all stomping everyone and banking with Max level decks in Silver and Gold League. I've invested a lot over the years to keep up with maxing Silver decks. It's what my budget allows me to keep up with. Silver was always where the biggest nerfs in earings has been, to combat bots. No bots now but then I get (adult pejoratives) by people hanging out in low leagues with maxed or mostly maxed decks. How is this better than bots? At least in old days I also earned along with the bots.

Wild used to be easier in the past seasons as people who had vouchers let their Alt accounts play. This is now gone which means the competition is much fiercer in wild right now. Overall resulting in maybe less and less players wanting to play in wild. Modern is relatively unatractively, too, as I have a strong conviction that we have many bots, battle helper and/or scholar supported competition. No proof though.

Until we get off of Hive blockchain and onto a chain that people actually use and that has attention, Splinterlands will continue to stagnate and die. Solana, IMX, Polygon, Avalanche, Arbitrum. Also that there wouldn’t be any power creep or anything of that nature to reduce the value of alpha and beta cards (which we should’ve taken as a red flag, but we offer gave them for) being used in battles. The over printing of cards to appease people who couldn’t buy immediately or couldn’t buy as much as they want it, while also simultaneously raising the price of the packs was another major flag, and when most people would’ve been happier, exiting at if they knew where they would be now. The company keeps making these weird ass moves, I wouldn’t blame twelve58 for saying fk it, getting a bot and renting out his deck and spending time with his kids, that definitely has a better return.

You know the rewards are lower and you’re advocating people spend $600 to earn crumbs on a dying game that is wild. They can take that $600 can buy HIVE and make blogs and upvote themselves & make more money. Sht they can put $30 on 3 leg parlays this football season for 18 weeks straight and have a better ROI.

He’s advocating to have people pour more money into cards which is why 6:47 he “literally” says, “YOU can unlock this kind of SPS return for relatively low card investment” prior to having to give a NFA disclaimer. If he didn’t mean what he said, he would’ve said it all. This has to stop. If he’s pushing for people to get SPS tell them to buy it and stake it they’ll earn more faster and not hold on to assets that are being pushed out of competitive play, earn very little (he even calls it inconsequential 7:52). The risk of holding on to SPS until it’s over $0.10 is already wild to consider looking at how the community is pulling out let alone being optimistic that’ll it be over $1.
