You can reduce the amount of fumes coming into the cabin by putting the heater/air con into recirculate mode.
If I may… Koni shocks and raise it up a schoshe. Level out the corners with some larger swaybars… add a Wavetrac diff. May the force be with you young Skywalker.
The car might feel boaty and slumped around turns if your tires are cheap or old try a increased sidewall it helps with handling
I have the e92 335d and its extremely fun and really feels smooth on the road I love it

Base model is better bc there is less to break
Get a square set up on the tires and you will double the miles before you have to replace

It’s not terribly boaty but I’m used to driving a brz so the comparison is quite different lol

Here in the UK there are loads of 335d's in all e9x platforms. Saddle brown interior on the other hand is very, very rare. Good video bro.

Not to bring you down or anything - these 5 things are compared to what? Interior, rwd, diesel smell, efficiency, handling - for the year it was made, and for the engine it has, it's fuel efficient, powerful, handles pretty well, has pretty modern looking interior/exterior (you have the old steering wheel), and the diesel smell - if you removed any of the catalytic converters or the dpf, of course it'll have the stronger smell. Keep on uploading, but just some criticism - don't compare todays cars to 2011, thought this video will be more about the car from the owners POV instead of generalization of every 2005-2012 bigger engine rwd diesel.

100% the smell is the worst thing about these cars. They literally smell worse than diesels trucks some how. I’m going to try switching to a different oil since I’ve heard Rotella T6 can add to the smell. Also throw in some hotshot edt in hopes

I just got mines and damn I think ima regret it csuse it smells so bad I hope the smell isn't harmful for kids and that it doesn't stick to clothes I don't wanna walk into ppls house reaking of diesel
Try Motul oil

did u upgrade your subframe bushings ? these things get squirrely when u put ur foot down while ur going fast
I have not but that might be a good idea, I know exactly what your talking about
@@Brzjohn yea it's almost a must do once u tune these things, torque is no joke has the car all over the road without some more solid bushings
@@sn1291 A diff brace helped a ton on mine! Also eliminates wheel hop at the quarter mile. Super good value for $130 and 10 minute install

Help 🆘 got 335d mapped 340hp dpf gutted at full throttle hitting 120mph goes into limp mode only at that speed
Has a fault ( faults for exhaust gas cooling switching valve open circuit.,) the coded was removed the car was running okay after few days same problem.

U probably have a exhaust leak, mine only smells when I'm doing 170
You might have a rear alignment issue because my 335d has 2.8 Jr tune and I rag on the car and my tires don't wear crazy quickly. That being said you might drive more than me
Alignment is perfect! But these tires i have on are just super soft compound that wears super quick with this torque

Supposed to be like 350 wheel and about 500 torque supposedly
Kassel performance typically tunes their 335d to 350whp and 560wtq

Yep, she eats tyres. Maybe buy cheap road legal semi slicks for the rear. You get to play, but dont have to pay!... Well not nearly as much.

I live in PA, now. I drive a 2010 328i. I'm looking to possibly replace it with a 335d. I drive 50 miles/day. I fill up once a week, driving like a grandma. $60 for a tank. This will get much better gas mileage than the 328i and has more torque and power. Speaking of the sedan vs coupe, the coupe is slightly longer and can be heavier. I have AWD, which is definitely heavier than your RWD. But the fuel economy is what entices me the most. I've been daily driving my 328i for the past 2.5 years, now. It's been great, but $240/month on gas hurts. The 335d will put me around $144/month. I'll also keep the 328i and fix up some of her issues. She's got 224k miles and a couple leaks, but still very reliable.
One question I have is what smell are you speaking of? I'm not familiar with diesel engines at all. And what did you delete?
He deleted the emissions equipment, which means he can smell diesel when he sits with the car idling. It definitely sucks, no windows down at a stoplight unless you want to hold your breath
This dude complayning about diesel at $4.85 per galon, (1.28 per liter) in the US
In porttugal the min. wage is 700 euros and when this video was released diesel was around 1.8 euros per liter, around $7.42 dollars per galon
Oh u think US has expensive fuel? Don't worry, In estonia we pay roughly 8€ per gallon and my full tank(70l or 18.5gallons) cost 150€ :D Also get urself camera stabilizer, i almost got seizure :D
