  • Don't miss my current 3 favorite bowls of Beef Pho to be found in Saigon, Vietnam. Just by chance they happen to be a southern style, a northern style and one that is a combination of the 2. All are delicious, with my number 1 being different depending on the day. I would say you have to try at least one of these while visiting Saigon.

    I went to the exact Pho Thin by Sol a few months ago and yes that beef broth was very unique indeed and such a cool place to enjoy a meal with family and friend. Pho Viet Nam is on my radar for my next visit to Saigon so thanks for sharing their noodle making process in this video Chad. Hey, just a suggestion. I think that editing to add the VN subtitles directly in the video will give your videos more visibility towards Vietnamese audience, which is huge for your type of Vietnam-food-centric channel. You're potentially missing out on viewers/subscribers that don't turn on youtube subtitles but have massive interest in your channel topics.

    • @MinhVu-zw4ih
      @MinhVu-zw4ih 5 місяців тому +4

      Click on the CC option and you’ll see Vietnamese subtitles. The problem, in my opinion, is his channel needs to have a set “genre”. Whether it’s food reviewing, cooking, or both, it needs variety and frequency; reviewing and cooking of different food and more videos. I love his style of reviewing and I think food reviewers should possess such knowledge of culinary before they can become a reviewer. I, however, need to see more content.

    • @yeschefwithchadkubanoff
      @yeschefwithchadkubanoff  5 місяців тому +17

      I appreciate the advice, it’s hard when I know this content can be enjoyed by both Vietnamese and non Vietnamese speakers and how do we present it to 2 different audiences. We will always have viet subs available and just try to remind people that they are there either a click of a button

    • @yeschefwithchadkubanoff
      @yeschefwithchadkubanoff  5 місяців тому +14

      This channel will be focused on Vietnamese food reviews/education and traveling Vietnam information. I’m going to start another channel purely focused on cooking when my studio is finished. We were debating about doing more cooking on this channel but I just don’t think the views will be worth the effort. We are trying to increase the content frequency but we need more editing team to be consistent. I appreciate your thoughts

      @@crystalwynn3910 Sorry if my comment wasn't clear enough. I meant that some people don't know to turn the CC on because they're not familiar enough with UA-cam subtitles function, which is the majority of older people using UA-cam. Some people will click on video, see no subtitles & click out. I love ChefChad videos so just wanna have a lil suggestion to improve his visibility.

It was my favorite go to place but my last 2 trips there, the flavor was not consistent and believed the quality has gone down since they have been focusing more on quantity since the have been known as a tourist trap. @@yeschefwithchadkubanoffThey definitely have a consistency issue, which happens to most restaurants with broth in VN. I have eaten here so many times.
