Fantastic bike. I had mine for about six years. Decided one day to sell it as I wasn't using it too much...worst decision ever!! I immediately regretted it. It just fitted me perfectly. Not too heavy to push around, and so nimble on the road, and really comfortable. I'm on the look out for another. If anyone's thinking of buying one, my advice is go for it.
10 years this has been up...I have been around the Aero since before I started riding. I have read or watched about everything I can find. YOU are the first reviewer I have read to have mentioned the two spark plugs! 10 years later than you mentioned them! That was the first mechanical thing i noticed on seeing one..and no one mentions it nor the shape of the bars handles. Ane the section about its handling that you were perceptive enough from just experience and brought it up. Nice to see how to really road test a bike instead of reading paid advertising. Too bad the net whent the way it did instead of what you were doing..
I got a black 2009 except mine has snakeskin flames on it...a rare factory option available only in 2009...I can't seem to get a production number on the ones with that paint job, but it must be pretty low, because I've toured it across 10 different states & never seen another one like it in person...I've seen a few online, but very few...I rolled my bars forward till the grips were parallel to the ground...much better handling...
You keep saying the bike is heavy, it has fibre glass fenders and everything is plastic , dry weight is 519 Lbs dry weight it's not heavy at all, I have an 06 and it's really flickable.
I just got one I have a 2007 Honda Shadow Arrow in pearl white I have very little modifications done to mine such as low Pro turn signals and I have Cobra pipes with Cobra floorboards for the front along with a crash bar and Highway lights that which are on layaway it's a very smooth and comfortable bike
I just picked up a 1990 intruder 750 Suzuki that was sitting for 6 years under a tarp outside for $600. It needed a clutch in all the fluids and the gas tank had to be resaled and fork sales in a regulator. But that's not that bad dude. I'm into the thing about 1,500.... And it only had 12,000 mi on it. This was in March like 6 months ago and I've already ridden it 4000 mi... I like to see someone pull a 35-year-old Harley out of somebody's backyard and you ride it four hours straight for 150 mi non-stop on a Sunday... bet it will have way more issues
I know this video is very old, but I'm 6'6 433 lbs. Do you think I would fit on this bike? I have normal sized legs, my torso is the most of my height.
I own one and I'm sorry to say that you exceed the maximum weight. You would probably be okay riding naked but none of us want that my friend. They do make an 1100 which may be more your style. I am 6 ft 270 btw so no offence intended but its a great starter bike for a bigger guy. Just not as magnificently large as yourself.

The flames are sharp-looking. 09 was a great year! My bike is in metalflake white.
I love my Aero. I call it " ChugBucket"
Hi, by any chance you have a manual for it? It's surprisingly hard to find one for 2009 model

I guess it's light for a cruiser but my ninja 650 felt a little porky and this is 100lbs heavier with a rear drum lol

You may be a little to tall to sit comfortably on this bike. On the other hand, you wil only know if you try it.

@@geurvreter1521 Ebay has forward controls and every other accessory you can think of for this bike.

The sign did say "Bump". You know what that means right? Massive bump..
maybe put on some vance & hines exhaust on it, get some noise out of that nice shadow ;)
Not my bike, was a loaner from a friend of mine while my bike was in the shop for a month

They are great bikes but I find sitting upright the wind hits me hard making trips hard
um windscreens exist
yeah totally hear ya about the pulling on the bars, my shadow is the same way.
When I was talkin bout pullin to countersteer, I thought ' these guys are gonna think I'm nutz' lol..Thanks for watchin!
You didn't say why you're friend wants to seel the bike.
The cops bother you guys a lot in the states here in Canada not so much
Speedo/odometers on gas tanks = Beware they are easily manipulated , i.e. fake mileage .
