Why do people make pulls and then take the car out of gear at high speeds? If something goes wrong you want to be able to use the throttle to balance the car's handling if at all possible.
I've never been in a corvette, the dash and instrumentation set up reminds me of the supra, everything faces the driver, like fuck the passenger, you're lucky you get an A/c vent lol.
My 1990 Corvette also has that driver-focused interior like the MK4 and many other vette generations. The 1990-1996 Corvette interiors are the most similar and retro imo and I absolutely love it but I'm biased lol

Putting it neutral actually doesn’t get you better gas mileage any more than when you are off the throttle in gear, and keeping it in gear actually helps engine brake and can increase the life of your brake pads
Nahh...maybe on a 1992 Civic with 300hp and stock brakes. That won’t happen on a car meant to go fast with adequate brakes. Most of the time, rotor warping is caused by uneven torque on the lug nuts, like when a shop just uses an impact gun and overtightens them.

I’m still learning a few things about cars so if this is a dumb question then I apologize in advance. But I plan to get a c7 stingray sometime soon and this is exactly what I want it to sound like. But my question is, what all is done to the corvette to make it sound like this? I know it’s cammed obviously but does that mean anything was done to the exhaust? Like does it still have mufflers and the resonator? Also, does the cam alone make the car choppy when idling? I would love to know. I love the car man.
i saw nobody ever got back to you, but i would say long tube headers, an x pipe, and honestly the stock mufflers work pretty well if you don’t want to spend money on an axle back and keep the valves. headers are a typical supporting mod for a cam, which gives you the chopping idle, definitely research cams because they can sound different and make power differently, and there are different cams for different builds, like boost cams and naturally aspirated cams. and while technically you would “need” to do catless headers with a cam, it’s dumb not too. the cats restrict the flow of the motor and make the engine work less efficiently. but technically is it possibles also
