Imma say this AGAIN, plz include Nyla in the 40 and under artist interviews. I almost forgot Envy was absent. Her follow-up questions damn near carried this interview. 💪🏾 I think this is the first time I’m seeing Nyla and Jess on at the same time and it went much better than I thought. Yalls vibe matched the guest’s energy. Good stuff
Nyla's and Jess's energies don't match or balance...Nyla is intelligent, articulate and graceful....Jess is just loud and ignorant, she adds no value to an adult conversation. She brings down the intelligence and vibe in any room she's in...she's like the loud friend you hope doesn't make it to the gathering because they're just obnoxious
I totally think that she should be the host instead. She brings a new energy energy. She’s intelligent she can communicate effectively and she has ideas. I’m glad they are going her a chance.
Okkk Rapsody!!!! We need her for balance in Hip Hop right now.. Big ups to Nyla!!, with the thoughtful questions, song references and black women insight!!! She understood the assignment.. Bfast club needs her...
I’m a fan since the Eve album. It changed my life. I’m not a Sexy Red type of girl, I’m a Rapsody type of queen. I love you and grateful for you and what you bring. ❤️
Rapsody, since you like reading comments, read this one! You’re a dope artist and a breath of fresh air. Continue to carry yourself with dignity, we appreciate it!
I love her so very much 🖤🖤🫶🏾🖤🖤🫶🏾🖤🖤 This Is What We Need & Appreciate! I miss Envy being there but sooooo so appreciate Nyla being there and showing her true journalism skills while still being a HUGE FAN 💐
Shalom, WAKE THAT MIND UP! Thanks for sharing this conversation with Rapsody, I appreciate her down to earth real-life views on life, her career and the future. Rapsody's comment "I think big" is dope, we all should "think big". Rapsody, thank you and kudos.
The first time I heard Rapsody was randomly on Pandora. I don’t remember the name of the song, but it had me balling 😭 I was like who tf is this??!! I’ve loved her since.
Rapsody is and always has been in my top 5 ever since I first heard her music!! I love to listen to her speak and share her perspective. Thank you for sharing!!
Yup, cause Jess sure as hell served no purpose and made no significant contribution. Now admitting she doesn't like to talk, then why the hell would you force Charlemagne to get you a job (over several more qualified and experienced candidates, like Claudia Jordan) why would you force Charlemagne to get you the role of Radio TALK Show Host if you say you don't like to Talk!?
I love this interview. This album has been in HEAVY rotation since last Friday. To hear the interpretation of how she worked on the album is DOPE!! I knew she put her heart and soul into this. Thank you, Rapsody!!❤💐👑
Nyla being on this panel of interviewees made this interview even more 🔥 Jess, CTG & DJ Nyla…absolutely amazing job interviewing Rapsody. We love you too Envy..don’t worry lol MORE NYLA THO 🙏🙏🙏
Yo I listened in this morning but missed the beginning; and that whole time I did not know they were interviewing Rapsody! *Shouts to the Young Music Queen* 👸🏾 🫡
Rap's mentioning of the feelings she experienced with anxiety mimics what I went through. It is a beast and can be the worse emotional feeling next to grief. Glad to see the likes of Charlemagne and Rapsody are more open to sharing their mental health battles so they can help others cope.
This makes me miss Mac Miller....he was such a real HipHop head and he collabed with Rapsody. RIP. Rapsody, you own your artistry. Is organic and can grow as the soul pleases. You cool and thank you for your new work.
I can see how much she has gone and been through since her last album. In the very beginning years of her career she was vulnerable. And talked about her best friend a lot. And how he just dipped. Her family etc.I’m happy to see her bring back this side of her. Of her personal life and how she deals with things.
I really wish Jess would do some research or even ask for some before interviews because you really don’t even know she’s in the room most times. She’s come such a long way with her reading on air! Front page news commentary and interviews need some work.
Sighhhh and I actually like Jess but you’re right. Doesn’t feel like she researches on subjects she’s not that familiar with… Yee always came prepared 🥴
Watching the album rollout, and coming here from the back in Mt bag video, I think rap would do great in film too. I'm excited for her creative journey! One of the goats!
That dementia song hit me I dealt w my gma. & when my gma said she didn’t remember me no more shit hurt like hell. Much love 2 those who lost somebody 2 dementia
Why she not getting the recognition she deserves? You got people giving attention to these talentless female rappers who can’t write, stay on beat or switch up their flow to save their life. That’s why hip hop is down bad now because folks focus on looks and popularity vs real talent
But we as consumers HAVE the power to keep sistahs like Rapsosy, Sampa the Great, Tierra Whack, Lady Leshurr, Nitty Scott, Sa-Roc, Noname-etc, IN rotation. The same way this “blackout celebs” not speaking out on what’s going on in Palestine is making these folks backtrack faster than MJ’s moonwalk, THATS the same energy force we need to put in for ALL of these lyrical queens out here.
Man ppl don’t even see how Charlagmagne be low key putting Nyla and Taylor in great opportunity exposure between TBC and Brilliant Idiots by always putting them on. He’s literally tryna put them on before he calls it quits so that they can carry the torch. Specially for Nyla. But he’s been doing this for other ppl for years
Something that I love about this interview is that they mainly asked Rapsody about her own music. Other interviews spend half of their of asking Rapsody questions about Drake v Kendrick.
I’ve been listening to Rap since she was rhyming with Mac Miller early in her career. Her very first album “Beauty and the Beast” is a classic. “Laila’s Wisdom” is a classic. “Eve” is a classic. Her mixtapes are fire. I saw her perform live, she’s ill. She’s the quintessential hip hop artist. Period. She puts on for us swaggy girls trying to find our way in the world. She’s my favorite. I’ve put so many people on to her. Growing up it was Ms. Hill for me. In my mid 30s, it’s Rap. Hands down.
Please never put RApsody in the same category with Nicki latto cardi Meg. They should be calling her and apologizing. Commercially she’s not where they are but lyrically and maturation no comparison
Others have already said it in the comments, but wow. Nyla was really great during this interview. You can tell she rocks with Rapsody as an artist. They need to bring Nyla in more during these types of interviews.
I propose a ‘Black Star’ -esque supergroup in the rap world. How about Jean Grae and Rapsody with strong female R&B artists such as Alex Isley, H.E.R. and We are KING? A response to counter the attention rap beefs attract, which really counteract hip hop cultural solidarity/progression.
Man shout out to Rapsody for dropping this amazing album. May she get all the support, success and happiness she deserves.
CTG always advocating for her 🙏
I listened to it this morning. It super good
We must support Rapsody at all cost
At all costs!
Nothing speaks louder than your dollars!
Most definitely
Real talking
AMEN

I love her seriously she's very knowledgeable and actually enjoys hip hop
Nyla is a Beast as a Co-Host
I’m saying, Angela g vibes. Does her homework sooooooo well!!!!!! 👏🏽
She more into music and more intellectual than Jess honestly. I think she more passionate about music that’s why
I totally think that she should be the host instead. She brings a new energy energy. She’s intelligent she can communicate effectively and she has ideas. I’m glad they are going her a chance.
Energy will be different interviewing politicians etc
Keep Jess and replace DJ Envy with DJ Nayla@@kcakiid
Love they gave her the full hour!
Because Envy isn't there. He's quick to rush ppl out.
You’re probably right but they love Rhasody! This is like the 3rd time that she’s been on the Breakfast Club. S/O to the Queen Rhapsody! 👸🏾👌🏾💕

Rapsody is sooooo underrated!
Rapsody, since you like reading comments, read this one! You’re a dope artist and a breath of fresh air. Continue to carry yourself with dignity, we appreciate it!
Here it is ladies and gentlemen, a true female rap artist. Post her, market her, and stop complaining about Sexy Redd. We can have both
We need a Lil ratchetness... Balance baby 🏌🏼♂️
@@thetrueone30I think we're a lil oversaturated with ratchetness honestly lol
Nyla is up next! Sis really is a star!

My favorite rapper favorite rapper big up to the queen Rapsody
I feel the same. I just wonder why she is not MY favorite rapper...
Rapsody new album, Please Don’t Cry is great because she got lyricism, she got bars and she got punchlines. I like Rapsody so much, congrats! 🎊🎉🥳💐🔥👑
She's great and real. The ladies running the show today!
Show up how you want to show up, don't seek validation, make your own lane. Good gems.

Need that Rapsody/Kendrick collab album ASAP
Thank you for this interview Rap.
I definitely have bad anxiety and it keeps me from going to sleep, feels like my heart is going to explode.

Thank God CThaGod and Nyla are here to facilitate this

These Ladies need to have their own show!!! They are so honest and transparent.
I'm glad ya'll got Nyla here for this interview.
I love her...I can listen to Rapsody speak all day. She's so genuine

Nyla needs to be a regular on the show. She balances out Charla's pettiness.
You mean Nyla counters Jess's lack of intelligence and lack of contribution.
@@Importeknika316Lord 😅
There you go! Just like Angela Yee. Jess doesnt fit
Rapsody is talented, intelligent and angelically beautiful! 🙌🏽👏🏽
This is such a beautiful interview- loooove the energy❤

S/o to Rapsody, looking forward to seeing her on tour. ♒️ love always
Love her, love her and LIFT her up! Rapsody actually has something to say that’s meaningful and that’s why she’s supported by men.
Give this Queen her flowers while she can smell them!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Rap is an incredible MC, been a fan for a long time. Thanks y'all for this interview🫡🇿🇦
Loved everything about this interview. Rapsody is the ish. Please don't cry is 🔥🔥
This felt like a conversation amongst friends not an interview. I think it worked well.
Yes, Rapsody! Finally really standing on business and what sets YOU apart.
She look like Laila Ali, the Champ's daughter.
That's her little sister 😂
She’s where my Grandma from and she’s been getting told that since she was little 😂
Shiiiiii...and Ava DuVernay
I love this woman. So under-rated
This makes me miss Mac Miller....he was such a real HipHop head and he collabed with Rapsody. RIP.

Absolutely love this interview. 💛💛💛💛

I'm glad they got someone who knows Raspsody's work and invested in the dialogue.
Rapsody is a gem in the rap game, and hip-hop, great interview and very introspective album..Nyla did great as a cohost also. Much Love
Who is the young lady in Envy chair? She ask great questions and knows her stuff.
This was such a beautiful conversation! Loved the feminine energy!
There it is, Rapsody is the greatest female emcee of this generation. I would like to hear a record with Rapsody & Nas tho
Finally! A good bfc interview!
