1990s was the best decade for action movies. Spawn is by far the best movie ever made but by far the best comic book ever created from the mind of Todd MacFarlane.

It will be horror based. Spawn won't be an action hero and there won't be a villain he fights. He'll be lurking in the shadows, most scenes will just be a cape and green eyes. Sounds like the HBO series, only live action. As much as I liked this film it's not very Spawn feel, see Season 3 of the HBO series from 1999. Spawn is almost exclusively cape and eyes, nothing more. Season 2 was my first Spawn experience and as much as I love the comics, this film, the other two seasons and the X-Box game Spawn: Armageddon, there's a certain feeling of dread you get when you're staring at a floating cape with two green eyes looking back at you.
