Great video, I would say the model already painted go to town on it with lighting and aztecs, make it a complete overhaul project and use those other decals/stickers on it when finished then dull them down with a Matt varnish.

i agree about the color, i initially thought the camera's balance was off, its not terrible but its just......weird.

After some time, the nacelles lean back as their weight slightly twists the pylons. Nice to know there's a modern version. Hopefully it's better than the modern version of the Playmates 1701-D.

It's a shame hiw diamond bought out art asylum and because of their dullard management they allowed their whole starship department to collapse. My fav art asylum was of course ent nx 01. We were so close to having the reliant.

I used to have this one, my main gripe with it was the pylons weren't very sturdy and the warp nacelles would really droop after a bit. The diamond select one actually fixed that problem. But this one wasn't a great display piece, definitely a toy. I still have my USS Defiant and Enterprise D and those still look solid though.

The enterprise B was a unique excelsior variant but in all the other series you saw the standard version

i have to pull you on this one, the lakota in DS9 was this variant.
SFX timeline got screwed when they made this ship for generations, all because they wanted a different ship, but wanted to use excelsior, but couldnt damage it, hence the add ons.
