But if we're talking about how their *songs* did among the general public, one cannot deny their position as the biggest 4th gen hitmaker was overthrown last year, when "Girls" failed to live up to their hype and become a comparable hit to their previous songs or their peers' hits last year (even Illusion did better than Girls). But of course whether or not a song becomes a hit is unpredictable and not everyone can keep making big hits after big hits. We never know what could happen next. This time, fortunately for them, Spicy seems to be doing way better than 'Girls'.

Kep1er doesn't really have anything that makes them stand out. There's nothing that I can look/hear at in their contents or songs and say "that's Kep1er" 😢 there's no concept at all. Sadly, their music was nothing special and people lost interest eventually 😞 In my opinion, their best album was Lovestruck but at this point, people just forgot them (I've even read comments of people who didn't even knew they had a comeback 😢) Unless they make a powerful move internationally or in korea that makes them get the public's attention, they're doomed 🫣 In japan they're popular tho, so I think since Wakeone is lazy AF, they'll focus on that market.

So proud of NMIXX 🥰 I hope JYPE will continue to push them in the direction they are currently at. I mean NMIXX literally got their first win with LMLT and are charting significantly better than they did with their last comeback. LMLT even was top 10 on Melon and peaked at #6. If JYPE doesn’t see all this success and realizes they need to drop their MIXXPOP concept than I feel I am entitled to genuinely believe that Nmixx are being set up or are just being used as an experiment instead of a real JYPE group.

Not to mention they are not as successful as they should be because of their concept. Nmixx are so ridiculously talented and they aren’t being recognized as they should because of their sound. And dropping the MIXXPOP concept doesn’t mean they will be a “generic girl group” they can do other unique concepts that the general public will also like and that can grow their fanbase and get them music show wins. People really tricked, NMIXX, one of if not THE most well rounded and talented girl group of the 4th gen that they were untalented. The girls expressed how they “couldn’t dance” “not good at dancing” “not pretty enough” on their bubbles during ‘DICE’ era. The hate and lack of recognition, music show wins, popularity, fans, etc is not worth having a “unique” concept which it really isn’t unique because mixing genres together was been a thing. The girls are young asf it’s not worth all the bs. NMIXX has said that they want to win on music shows and be successful and truth is their MIXXPOP sound will not get them wins as obviously proven by the fact that they only got their first win after they released a song that wasn’t heavily MIXXPOP.

The only reason Wadada sales were that high was because it was their debut and people obviously had expectations.
