Just subscribed!! I'm thinking about taking on this hobby, I really only fish 1 lure yr round, a 4 in paddle tail. Any idea if after all the start up cost for lure making does it start to be cheaper than spending 6$ on some Rapala swimbaits? For example I may buy 200$ worth of soft lures a season, will thus end up being cheaper than that, or an I doing it for the fun of making my custom colors?

When shooting the 5" wutz-forktail bait using the laminate plate I'm having issues with the second color getting & going underneath the first color. I'm making sure that the bait is down properly before closing the mold before clamping the mold together. Can you help me out?

How the heck does your soft plastic stay liquid and pourable after all the glittering, coloring, and explaining…do you reheat just a bit after adding everything, and just edit that part out of this video? Mine cools too quickly for me not to have to reheat a bit, or hurry up and add everything superfast!

That's crazy that you say to shake it because I'm literally looking at my plastic and it has a clear bright green sticker on the top that says do not shake in all caps 🤔🤔🤔. The manufacturer's over at the factory that makes bait plastics and many of the other plastisol blends out; specifically say to paddle mix and not 2 shake. You are a mold company so how about you stick to using your molds instead of telling people how to IMPROPERLY use and mix their plastics. You see air bubbles are insulators and could cause uneven heating and therefore uneven polymerization. This is why many big plastic companies also recommend degassing for the little bit of bubbles that are already going to be present. By shaking you have increased the volume of bubbles by tenfold. Not to mention if there are too many bubbles in your casting your bait May float rather than sink as well as having bubbles in your cast. This might be desirable for some but not for most.
