What a magnificent human being he was,my sweet George ❤️
He is so straight up and handsome. I miss him much....
This was an amazing interview! Wow, very prophetic. I love how he laughed at the idea of describing himself as a legend. He was so charming! Thanks a million for posting all these interviews. Cheers.
"A good cup of tea" in the hotel!
Beatle code for a good spliff!
Both these men are now passed on...God bless them both!
Amazing, really, the way George was able to kinda keep his cool and a sense of humor while being asked these questions over and over again....
Great to hear that George doesn't like opera - neither do I. Lovely interview. Many thanks.
Three intelligent men. A joy to listen to. Would love to read the book.
What a great interview!
The influence of George and his brothers will live on till the Dawn of man. Hare' Krishner
Thanks so much for this.
Great interview subject, and good interviewer.
Thanks.
That beautiful George smile.
No matter if you like the music or not, they are impressive!! Pure respect.
Quality interview, loved the part about the differing personalities between Derek & George. Nice one, thanks.
interviewed by the legendary Maurice Parker!
Well you ARE a legend though George, sorry!
4:58 ''(Indian Music) It'll be with me till my dying moments''
Ravi Shankar actually played sitar as George was on his deathbed 17 years later.
How awful. I wouldn't want to hear that crap while I'm dying 😖
❤❤✌✌😘😘
George is playing in Sri Krishna's band.
I keep wanting to explain to George that maybe the Beatles and WWII are old hat to you, but to my 8 year old self at the time they were things that I heard about but didn't really know what they were exactly. My *curiosity* compelled me to want to learn about these things from the past that were new to ME. Maybe that's why the media keeps mentioning them so they won't be *forgotten*. Not that WWII is a *pleasant* memory, but the bad things (Holocaust and all that) shouldn't be *forgotten*.
Yes I agree with George! Rock n Roll was back in the '50s with the originators. The stuff that tries to pass for it these days is just derivative Rock influenced music...and thats it! Not to say that there are not any good bands....just very very FEW!
Two legends, both badly missed - the interviewer should have involved Derek a little more.
Well u know..
At 1.10..keith Chegwin and william Shatner's love child...
Uh, Strawman, let me explain how the mechanics of procreation works…
@@jeffkaufman8489 A lighthearted comment Jeff, don't get all pedantic...oh and how about that Superfecundation eh !!
Annoyingly it's out of sync
