Forza 7 Drag race: Ferrari F40 vs Ferrari F50

- Hello everyone and welcome back to the series of Forza drag races, this time on Forza 7. We got two legendary, two iconic beasts of their time. Two brothers, the F40 and the F50. These two machines that give you that nostalgic feeling. We will line'em both down the straight and race them but before we do, lets look at their specifications!
Lets start by the older brother, the 1987 Ferrari F40, an italian legendary mid-engined RWD supercar that was created by Ferrari back then to celebrate Ferrari's 40th anniversary and to replace the Ferrari 288 GTO. And it also served a double purpose as being Ferrari's answer to the Porsche 959. And it was famous for being the first production car to break 201 mph. Nontheless, sitting in the middle is a 2.9 L Twin-Turbocharged V8 that produces 478 bhp and 424 lb.ft of torque. The F40 weighs 1352 kg and the power is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-Speed Manual Transmission. Making it one of the sexiest old school looking fast supercar ever made.
In 1995, the F40 was replaced by the Ferrari F50. Which is also a mid-engined RWD supercar, it is a limited production car that succeeds the F40. Only 349 F50s were produced. Nontheless, sitting above the rear wheels is a 4.7 L Naturally Aspirated V12 that produces 513 bhp and 347 lb.ft of torque, the F50 weighs 1350 kg and the power is sent to the rear wheels via a longitundinal 6-Speed Manual transmission.
Now with both specifications given, lets line'em both down the Le Mans famous straight and find out the results. Will the Wonderful F40 surpass its successor? Or will the F50 proof that the successor is always the best? Lets find out.

How do you guys stage off? Do you guys do 321 go or do you just go when you pass an area. I wish Forza was for ps4 as well. The game looks fun. Also which is the best Forza game out there?
Themattinator 86 the best forza right now is forza Motorsport 4 for the Xbox 360 it had the best car selection and everything from sounds to physics now it's either copy and paste for the sounds and such. The thing that I cant accept is that almost every car revs too 9100 rpm the f40 for example revs to 8000 irl but no not in forza. The sounds I can live with but the rpm always limited to 9100 nah.

What hurts the F50 is the lag time in the shifting. The F40 is geared up totally tighter than the F50....more horse power too. The F50 spins a little to much on the take off.

Lol the biggest reason is they made only 349 of them - most of which were crashed/ruined. People don't talk about mythical cars, they talk about attainable ones 🤣🤷♂️

Someone did this same test in an earlier Forza game, and the outcome was reversed.

I notice you always try and get kinda behind him when you’re losing to draft him.
I only do that for the interior shaking effects, it really doesnt matter because drafting/slipstreaming in this game is very very weak. You don't gain any speed

Well....I want a redo lol. F50 driver botched EVERY shift. These games are similar to real life - redline offers no torque. Don't shift at Rev limit, or even close. You should be shifting around 6200rpm. Listen to me and go again 🤷♂️🤣

Forza is bullshit! F50 top speed 312 km/h ?? Its 325 Km/h. And this is the reason that many people say that F40 is faster?? Only for stupid simulators like this?? In real life, F50 is faster, not for many, but really is faster.
