- I finally made out to The New England Disc Golf Center in Southwick, MA. It was a beautiful day to check it out and I'm glad I did. Definitely a great spot for disc golf with all the different courses to play. I hope I can be back soon!

Just wanted to say thanks to my nephew Casey and Simon for making the trip out to Southwick. This was my first time ever playing disc golf. Amazing watching these guys make it look so easy. Had a blast.

I live near here and I'm pretty sure the highway systems were designed by sadists. They could just be morons, but it seems more intentional.
He was on the Mass Turnpike. In Western Mass the exists are important to pay attention to. We’ve all done it. He won’t do it again.

I used to drive from Rome, NY to CT every other weekend. 35 miles between exits and nothing interesting to see. It's like they are trying to make you fall asleep at the wheel.
I've missed one going from NH to NJ. Only a 10 mile gap, but that's 20 to get back...plus the tolls. Grrr
Even when Simon is on the “struggle bus” his game is awesome to watch.
Couldn't imagine playing in the woods with so many trees on the way.

Absolutely amazing to see you guys play my home course that’s less than 10 mins from my house this is the course I learned to play disc golf on and I absolutely love the guys that run the place in my opinion top3 in New England

Nature appreciation moment was Epic!!
It's actually really cool when you think about it. That tree is infested with Mycelium, which found an almost perfect spot to grow it's mushrooms. Not just astatically, but a spot high off the ground where wind will create a small vortex, which will create more momentum to carry the mushroom's spores.

Played that course a couple of years ago on a super-hot day. It was empty. Really fun course. Challenging and lots of variation. Last two holes are great finishing holes.

Reminds me of Germany and the Autobahn sometimes when you miss a exit, they're not exactly close all of the time.
OMG, yeah the one exit you don't want to miss on the MassPike is exit 41 (old exit 3), otherwise you have to go all the way to exit 10 (old 2) which is 31 miles away. I've been there, done that. It's frustrating.

Oh man, there is definitely a lack of exits on the Pike in western Mass.. it can be rough when you miss the exit.
Y'all need to come play The Bunker in St. Louis, MO. Similar to this course but more woods.
You missed the Westfield exit and drove to Lee?!? Worst place in MA to miss an exit. Probably about the same distance from you, but up in Greenfield is my favorite course in the Valley, Westy Acres. Would love to see the great Simon take that one on.

For the next time, you don't need to take the whole detour - you can get off at the rest stop and find your way through to the backroads. You're not supposed to, but otherwise it's 60 miles! (as you know.)
