Great times hanging out with my long time friend from Germany, Jerome Braun. I've known his family pretty much ever since I started playing disc golf events in Germany back in 2005. He's joining me for a couple big pro tour events and the World Championships coming up at the end of the month!

Some interesting facts about Canadian geese (from a Canadian)....
Fact #1: Although Canadian geese seem harmless, they're generally very aggressive when grazing and/or especially with their goslings. They'll often "hisss'' at whomever comes close and their long, strong necks allow them to ''strike'' with a pretty strong thrust (this is on top of them spreading their wings as they charge towards you so they look huge and sound scary).
Fact #2: Although they're only in the Greater Toronto area for about 8-9 months of the year, they do a considerable amount of damage to lawns and grass fields. Canadian geese need to keep eating because their stomach only retains about 10% of the food it ingests (the rest is pooped out...wherever Canadian geese graze, there's TONS of acidic poop and torn up grass patches making a big mess).
Fact #3: Some Canadian municipalities have ''trap & kill'' time periods where Canadian geese are rounded up because of how numerous and destructive they are in the Spring & Summer. Some other Canadian municipalities have protection periods for Canadian geese (never has a Canadian icon been so loved in some parts and so hated in other parts). ;)
Are they good eatin? Replace the turkey for a bit.
@@aaronmayhew2.0 I've yet to try it myself, but supposedly it's not like regular goose. Very gamey. They actually used them as part of a food drive during Toronto's first year of population control, but it was quick dropped because it wasn't well received.

The Canada Goose (Branta Canadensis) is native to arctic and temperate regions of N America. It was first described by Carl Linaeus in the his 18th century work Systerna Naturae. Though some birds would be seen in Europe during migration. The Canada Goose does well in urbanized settings and as such has been introduced to other parts of the world where they were domesticated and sometimes have become a bit of a pest.

The thumbnail shot is the one we amateurs dream of: wide high powerful hyzer over water to bullseye or ace. Watching it played to perfection on coverage makes it seem approachable. It is not, it’s how you lose discs.

I wonder if Europeans get the drop first? I noticed that with a lot of friends the only way they get their hands on that stuff is through auction online or they know a distributor. Which sucks for your average player/fan who really wants the products.
@@Peterisheree I honestly don’t know how people get this stuff. I wish they’d make enough for everyone that wants it. I’ve been on there at the exact time as the drop. By the time you enter your credit card info it’s sold out.

It was great to see you making more videos for us fans. I live in southeastern CT and today as I went outside, I could not believe anyone would be out playing any sport, including disc golf. Being plus 90º and humid, you and Jerome played cool as cucumbers. Having German roots myself, it was "ALLES GUTE" to see you and your friend back together and playing the game you both love to play....no matter how hot and humid it is. We fans all wish you the best in the coming weeks, and a huge congratulations on your upcoming wedding. You will turn your beautiful little boy Emmitt into a great player like yourself. As a wedding gift to your son and soon to be wife, go out and WIN that 2022 Worlds tournament. You have all the experience and talent to do it. Put your mind on that goal and your first major tournament will happen. Even though the USDGC is a course that you never conquered, put your mind on winning that one as well.
