Love seeing blading making a comeback. This was my life for most of my childhood. Spending most of my days at the skatepark. I am still paying for tons of injuries, but it was worth it. Thanks for the coverage.
was there more than 30 years ago, see hardly any progression, looks like some guys in the skatepark around the corner, if this is top level in the world, don't call it a comeback :-)
I love the big guy towards the beginning. He's inspiration that even us bigger guys can do stuff like that. I'm 38 and slightly overweight, and if I could learn to grind even a little, that would be a dream come true. But I'm absolutely terrified of falling and getting hurt lol.
I'm 109kg. Not really overweight, just heavy. Pro tip: Pad the hell up! Knee pads, elbow pads, padded shorts. Leave rolling around in jeggings with no pads to the fluffy little lightweight men, lol.
@@Kj16V Hard to overcome fear indeed. Go for the basics until you nail them consistently, progressively improving your way to the harder tricks. Don't rush. Enjoy the journey of being proud to overcome fear and difficulty step by step.
Said essansei, met him over there and he's one of the most genuine and humble people I've met. Does some crazy switch ups on P rails and so fun to skate around.
You know what, seeing these guys fall and get back up as if nothing happens and do jumps and tricks immediately while it's still bloody painful, respect!
pretty crazy to see how bad people have gotten at inline. The guy who won looked so goofy, he was so tall he couldn't even skate properly on the course because the rails were so close together. Katayama looked pretty smooth, but almost everyone else was too sloppy. They looked like kids ice skating for the first time. I agree the course was part of the problem, they need an old 90s style park course to really show off the speed and flow that makes inline unique.
honestly this has to be one of the worst skateparks ive ever seen a major blading competition held in. No launch boxes, no spines, no gaps, no ramps at all that are conducive to big air tricks. This is a skateboard park not an inline/bmx style park. having said that though, im really happy to see new blading content coming out, and Ricardo, your commentary was really good. Im just criticising the park and nothing else.
Hello, noticed your channel while I was searching for K2 skates and you gave an excellent review for the K2 redline 125 skates, just clarifying with with you because I trust you, will the K2 redline 100m 4 wheeler be great for speed and overall in an indoor skating rink? Thanks again, subscribed.
It kills me how bad some of these guys style is yet they are suppose to be some of "the best" in inline skating... gotta make it look good so people want to watch.. most of these guys need more practice of the basics and getting completely comfortable on skates all around instead of trying to throw some of the ugliest 450/540 grinds ive seen in competition. 00:41:40 That cab ao fish was perfection tho. Homie got steeze, all them far east riders do,; its like part of the blading culture there, making tricks look as clean and stylish as possible. I wish that was more emphasized in american and western skating, although it seems to be becoming more noticed and appreciated when a skater lands a hard trick but also does it very stylish.
I was wondering why this video had so few views. Then I realized this is a re-upload by you from the original. Did you get permission to upload their content? Are you affiliated with them as a worker? You are not permitted by law to do so, unless you get permission from the Rollerblade company WORLD skate Games. If not, you are a pirate which is illegal. It is an easy way to gain watch time to get paid, but it is not allowed.
Hi. Thank you for your comment. This is a commentary video. I may have used the publicly available content from the livestream of the event but I have made my own commentary of it. On the previous edition of the event in Barcelona I was locally at the event and was part of the official livestream which was never uploaded to youtube. This time the same happened. World skate does not upload this event to UA-cam, so I did it with my own commentary. Also though out this commentary video I said several times that this was not the official stream. Best regards Ricardo Lino
Whoever designed this park has no idea what the right sizes, angles, transition witdths are to get the best flow, speed, amplitude and what not of inline skating. If this is to be a world competition, this is got to be a joke. For a sport that is already more than 25 years old, it's a shame that there's no expert supervising the construction of these skateparks.
In-Line is no more, Roller is the way to go? Are they different skates or something. Honestly clicked on this 'cuase i thought it'd been a minute since i seen what in line street looked like, maybe a decade or so. I see now it's Roller.
Venegas fella looks horrible. Literally looks like a guy who starting learning hard tricks before learning how to skate. Stumbling around. No flow. No ease. No style. Go out and just roll around before trying to 450 royale a rail.

@RICARDO_LINO OMG 😍
love to see inline is still going, dont stop. edit: cant say ive seen that switch up at 16:06, very nice.
Parabéns, meu irmão!!! Você é o cara que faz um dos melhores ou o melhor canal de patins agressivo/ patins do mundo na atualidade. Pode acreditar.
the dentist 😬 has his own skate park. 😂
I think Diaby doing flips is totally fine because he is using them as set up airs for grinds in the middle of the course.

I can't believe this is still a sport🤦
I can't believe you take the time to search and comment on what you don't like. Get a life.
