My husband was a hard sugar adict 4 years ago and he refused to eat vegetables and fruit until he got cancer. We worked with a Biblical nutritionist who put him on a raw vegan diet. For two years his body detox the first several months off sugar he lost 35 lb. He did end up having medical treatment but he have less treatments and whose body was more receptive and he had fewer complications and, side effects because of the diet. He is still 90% raw vegan and cancer-free for the past 2 years. If we knew then what we know now we would have switched over to avoid all this

You are both so awesome. I did raw vegan diet before in my early 20s and fell off. But I’ll never forget how great I felt when I did it correctly. I’m raw vegan again for 2 weeks now (i’m 34) and I feel amazing again! You guys are both my inspiration… not just to live a healthy life, but I admire your beautiful partnership. 🎉

GM loves!!! I adore these little “resets”! I have to say, it is easy to be raw vegan if you live alone or have a partner who also contributes to the lifestyle, and it IS a lifestyle. I’m 53 and look physically like Cara. Former bodybuilder, parent of two, but I didn’t FULLY transition until I lived on my own while my husband was in the hospital (1.5 yr) that I could only take care of me. My husband is a full blown hunter. We are total opposites, but at some point you have to do what you believe. I am trying to transition him over, but he has the standard American brainwash. So, here’s my advice to newbies; start with Markus’ book. Take it slow and do one thing at a time. One or 2 items a week. Somewhere in there get the cookbooks. Secondly and I feel most importantly is you have GOT to work that piece of machinery, your body. I like to work out first thing in the morning on only water. I find that this suppresses my appetite until about 3PM. That is the only time I eat fruit, something low in sugar (papaya, half green banana,. 🍏, dinner I come to the table w a massive Cara salad, next to my husbands dead whatever. It’s hard, but do the very best you can and your body will reward you!
Markus, I love ur shirts! I wish I could meet you guys some day but Vegas is too far from Nashville for us. All my love and blessing to my 2 favorite peeps! 💕 💕 💕

Oh boy, i am so ooooo thankful for your comment
I am in exactly this situation. My other half is.a real meat, bread, chocolate, cake, pizza, take away, coke, Ribena and crap. I teid sooooo hard last year with my raw diet, I felt soooo great but gave in and have suffered the consequence. How are is it living like this, buying different meals and meat eating and crapola is soooo expensive! Thank you for posting I am 50 and although slim, am not looking like Cara...yet! xxxxxxxx...

@julieellington1480 Hi. Have you made raw versions of dead animal entrees, and given them to your husband to try? Pizzas, burgers, etc? Maybe have one meal a week, or one day a week where they have to eat raw like you.
      Possibly start with desserts.
      Blessings!!

I needed this today. Have gone thru some big life changes and fell back into a partial SAD again after several highly vibrant raw years. I just turned 65 with no major illness but the inflammation is knocking at my door. Your lifestyle inspiration is priceless. Thanks so much for the love to help people get on track! Love you both for doing what you do. I know what that reset does and the clarity and rejuvenation is mind blowing. Excellent video! Your products are amazing too! God bless you!

This video literally made me cry. You both have had such a huge impact on me already, I have followed you for a couple years now. Because of your inspiration I've lost 40 lbs, but I'm still not vegan, but you inspire me to fearlessly take that next step. Previously, I've been afraid that I would suffer nutritionally (for example, deficiencies), and therefore would suffer physically and mentally, if I switched to a vegan diet. But seeing your example demonstrates that's not the case. I'm ready to finally read those books and go to the next level. I'm so excited!

I'm going through 101 right now (2nd time) - it really is transformative. My energy levels skyrocketed on water fasting, which I did 5 days a week, and juices on the weekend for an entire month. I'm a month and a half in, mainly juicing now - which I LOVE. And it's just now that I am really seeing the detox symptoms. I've gone through the program before, back in 2018, and there I did the parasite cleanse and literally felt illness leaving my body - I'm not kidding. I knew what was happening, and I was eliminating some pretty sick stuff. This time, It seems like I'm going DEEPER. I don't know how to explain that, but that's what my body is telling me - that I'm going deeper. You can do this safely, I think. It's been a real game-changer for me. I thank God for Cara and Markus, this channel, and all the fantastic products and resources. Not to mention how incredibly amazing these two are - they are like family to me, and I haven't even met them! God Bless You Both!

@@honeyspoonbeewrangler4550 talking about bible , this verse : “It is written: ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.’” for me this mean diet or raw vegan alone will not heal us completely, how about clean fresh air . clean fresh water , sun bathing , fasting , be with nature , even our lord Jesus, always in wilderness and mountains as an example of how to live. , also this man " en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Li_Ching-Yuen" always in the mountain or nature.

In frigid weather, I like to take cold raw food out of the fridge and set it out on the table in a warm room for a while until it is closer to or reaches room temperature. That way it feels more gentle on my system when consuming it and I don’t feel the need to heat it up unnaturally.

Ive done this with heal yourself 101 when i was pregnant with my 2nd baby because i wanted to take my health up a notch. I was homeless and then lived in a shelter bc my boyfriend did drugs and it brought us to the streets. I wasnt rich, I had no car and i was breastfeeding my 1st born. I learned you can lose material stuff/assets and people (house, cars, job, relationship etc) but if that should happen to you, like Markus says THE BEST INVESTMENT YOU CAN MAKE IS IN YOUR HEALTH AND YOUR CHILDREN'S HEALTH. Going through tough situations you also need to know true health isnt just what you chew up but like Markus says, healthy people, sun, good water, sleep. You dont want to stress out or you're still drinking and smoking but claim you eat healthy- thats not true health! Ive been homeless for 5 years and i havent been super consistent bc ill go eat regular vegan food sometimes bc really it is a stress overload for one person but in my car i have all my kitchen stuff like cutting boards, knives, bowls, silverware, machete (for the coconuts) blender and juicer. When i shop at grocery store i buy 95% from produce section. Ill get probiotic drinks and kombucha and fresh made soups. But you dont have to have a perfect life to start being healthy!! In life when you fall 7 times get back up. If you have the passion you'll fight for commitment. Ive done it and im doing it. You can too! No one will come through for you but you especially with true well rounded health. It is a simple life and what you reap is such a treat.💛

Thanks for another excellent video, Markus. I have one question though. When it comes to healthy nutrition, there seem to be many (diverse) things which are best taken on an empty stomach for optimal effect. Would you have advice as to a good chronological order if several such "first" things are consumed? Perhaps you've already done a video on this topic in the past, but if you have, I've not seen it yet. Would be delighted to hear more about this, if you get a chance.

I think people think they need to go all in but it makes a huge difference just replacing one meal a day to raw vegan. Learn recipes as you go along. Eventually you’ll notice a difference after meals you feel so much more energy no bloating no heart burns no burnouts no gaining weight vibrant skin etc. I noticed it keeps you full all day compared to heavy carb cooked meals as well. Caras recipes really helping me learn and now I crave raw foods. Will definitely get the cook book. I actually got off raw vegan for 5 years and I can’t believe how much I aged. Everyone thought I was a college student well into my late 30s but I’ve aged like 15 years going back to processed cooked foods. I gained so much weight felt depressed and totally burned out. Once I started eating raw again my wrinkles are disappearing (I developed a large age spot that has faded 80% already) most importantly I feel amazing! I’m not strictly on it though I do cheat days when I’m out with friends. Thank you Markus and Cara for all the wonderful information, you guys are saving lives!

Hahahahaha, Markus is a legend! (And Cara too of course). I am just 2 minutes in and actually I think it is really funny. I don't mean this in a negative or bad way, only love ❣ I don't know what makes it so funny. I think it is Markus who is explaining everything with the attitude "I am explaining the obvious but I am doing it anyway" and then she is talking about the bloating and the expressions are just funny to me.
Thanks a lot for taking the time on educating people including myself! I have been vegan for years now. I had been eliminating more and more unhealthy foods within in the vegan spectrum and the last two years I have been raw for periods of times and then going back sometimes to some cooked foods, but I always feel the best on raw! I am now also fully raw and I feel great and happy! It takes some dedication but it is definitely worth it!
I made the raw vegan sushi from one of your other videos and me and my parents (they are not even vegan, let alone raw!) loved it. Thanks for the inspiration! Much love!

After almost 3 years with zero cheats we have been having vegan treats the last few months after moving to a “vegan friendly” city there are too many treats here lol, so it’s time to go raw again. The video reminds me why we went plant based our Health time to reel it in.

Wonderful reminder. I just came off of a toxic diet I had to eat to prepare for a colonoscopy exam. I had so much fiber built-up from my regular high raw vegan diet that there was residual waste in my body. As a result I'm going to need to repeat the process but this time I'll just fast before and do enemas to get ready.

Markus, Cara - question about mushrooms. What is your take on incorporating mushrooms into raw plant based diet? How would you do that?

I have been put off eating certain vegetables that I like, because I get too gassy! I'm sooo glad I came apon this video! I want to start eating a raw food diet, but a little bit more slack, because I do want to eat things like chicken and fish and my no flour breads with butter. Nuts, seeds and grains, kinda thing. But in moderation

I am vegetarian but I desperately want to be raw vegan, I try then give up after a few days as I start getting awful headaches and just want to eat something warm and sugary. It doesn’t help living in London especially now in the winter, I’m sure it would be. Much easier living in a hot country. I need some help, wish you guys had a healthy life retreat.💕🙌🏽

Hi Pauline, maybe my advice can help you as Im also on my raw vegan journey as well as sugarfree und glutenfree. So what helps me overcoming my sugarcravings is hot chocolate. Warm ricemilk in the blender with 2-3 dates and chocolate powder. Will replace the chocolate powder soon with carob powder as chocolate has small amounts of coffeine.
Also golden milk is super cozy and warming in winter thanks to the ingrédients. Also here im using dates to sweeten it. I hope this helps you 🤗💗

Cara! OMG! Your abs are amazing! I love Mediterranean food. I'm all for raw Mediterranean food! Is that the cookbook you created a few years ago? I have that cookbook. I know you updated it. My husband appreciates that you put your whole selves into this. He's not fired up by raw foods. I'm trying to drag him off sugar. He loves his sugar.

I have been following Dr Morse and eating high fruit to heal my organs and tissues and my stagnant lymph system. So are you saying I can regenerate my body and heal my gut issues eating less fruit. I have been doing this for 3 years and feel much better but my issues were extreme and have weak adrenals and lots of congestion in my bowels, lots of mucus and sulfur. I bloat with everything I eat. I do eat one huge salad every day
