Hi guys , Glad to see you are underway again . I have been riding off road for a long time . I have a quick sad story first , UA-cam Channel from Norway Ride The Bean , His name is Dave and her name was Pia ,she had not been riding long He had been riding for a long while . They got her a 700 Yamaha Teneri the same as he had . On their first day of a around the world trip they were blasting along a dirt trail along a dike , then the poop hit the fan a small bridge was gone and I guess it was not marked , it was only about 10 feet across and about 3-4 feet deep ,he crashed into the bank on the other side and she did the same . Both had to be airlifted out to a hospital . She wasn’t hurt as bad as Dave , he was in the hospital for while .Well she had some depression issues in the past with crash and recovery it was just to much for her and she committed suicide some months later . Please put some tape on your trip mileage and forget how much mileage you making , you will get there . Lavi listen to Ollie take your time you will learn more . Keep the story above in the back of your mind . Your not in a race .
Well done guys. You have an awesome goal to complete the TET. Just take 1 day at a time. Ive been riding for years and if I can give you 1 bit of advice.....RELAX...when you are all tence and your body is too stiff...it can cause all sorts of probs... just go with the flo.. Stand up on your pegs.. Stay in gear.. NEVER freewheel...(out of gear) and let your bike do its own thing. You will find that its so much easier when youre relaxed and not fighting your bike. I wish you all the best 😁
Lavi--a great start--just jumping in! I'm sure you'll gain confidence & comfort with each mile! Remember to look/focus on where you want to go, not on the bad stuff, else that's where the wheel will go!
You guys deserve the hit on the like js for having to edit 4 cameras! That might have been quite a day's work... Awesone as always, let's start a new adventure through all of em
Great to see you back on tour. You done great Lavi, no shame in paddling your way through difficult sections. I've just started doing some TET from the North down, and even with 40 years riding experience I had to turn back on some difficult tracks. Good luck and ride safe
I’d honestly recommend you book an off-road riding course before you get too much further North. The narrow tracks you’ve been on so far would not even warrant a grade. Once you hit a rocky track things will get very challenging!!! Good luck 👍
great to see you back on the road/track! Lavi, you are doing very well for the first time offroad; some recommendations: speed gives stability, press your knees and feet close to the bike and on a straight section keep your view not directly in front of you. small changes, big impact. happy and safe travels !
I'm about 20yrs older than you both, without doubt the best camping equipment tip is comfort first, size and weight second. None of us are getting any younger. A great night's sleep makes all the difference. 😊
considering Lavi you had never been off road before, I think you would put most off us to shame on how well you handled your maiden trail, helmets off to you! you should be proud.
TOP!
Goooo Team Lavi&Ollie ✌️ The best is yet to come 🤟 Now the passenger gets to know 10 % of what it was for the rider to get a big bike aaaaalllllll around the world. Outstanding job man. You nailed it perfectly 💪 Now it's ladys turn to master the art of not falling to many times 🤭
At low speeds, I keep my visor up one click... enough to stop the fog, & enough to stop things going in the eyes (hopefully not foreshadowing). The first time I rode through mud on my bike, I could feel the V patterns in the tread pushing the bike from side to side as they "paddled"... but previous "car in mud" experience had me keeping my feet on the pegs and maintaining my speed & throttle position, and only changing direction very gradually. So It was fine, just a little mud on the tyres and around the back fender.
Just a comment about the lone rider tent. There are 2 vents, one at the head and one at the foot. You can keep them open with the rod and velcro. Helps with condensation. Since Argentina enjoyed very much your adventures !
You both are brilliant. I’ve loved watching this video and will follow your journey. I’d recommend goggles for the off road bits and most of the low speed road sections. Keep your visors up, your eyes will be protected but your breathing etc will be easier. I’m sure it will help in this heat. Stay safe and well done so far.
Lavi, you are doing a fantastic job, after a few days you will find that if you stand up on the foot rests you will find it easer to ride off road and as has been said in other comments look where you want to go. At the end of the day I bet that you fall off less than Ollie did on your round the world trip 🙂
Yay, awesome you're now on your way!! Really looking forward to following this one! Lavi, you're doing fab... off road isn't easy to start with... I did a trail riding course a few years ago in Wales; for the first 3 hours I didn't fall off once... and thought that I was a born expert. Then it began.... I fell again and again and again... sometimes within 5 meters of my first off!! I remember the last time I fell off on that day, I was going quite fast, hit some slippery grassy ruts and it flung me about 10 feet from the bike, I landed on my back in a load of heather and just burst out laughing... It happens, it's all part of learning and makes you a better biker! Fab adventures to come! Dale
Great to see the "better hit the road, let's go" camera slap again! What a cool little trail that single track is! Such fun on little bikes! It's amazing that you're allowed to ride down those small tracks in the UK! Yeah that first campsite looked really inviting! 🤣Bread and cheese! Of course! 🤣 Your camping gear has improved significantly since the start of the world trip! Well done Lavi, amazing effort riding that slippery terrain with such little riding experience! 👌
You are riding on chalk there, very slippery when damp. Try and look further forwards down the track, speed is your friend in these situations generally. Standing up will also help. Easier said than done though. Good luck !
You should say, “Time to hit the trail, let’s go”. 😂 Glad to see you guys starting another adventure. You have a good safe pace going. Don’t get into any hurry, you have plenty more miles and days to learn and get better. Won’t be long and Lavi will be riding as good as Ollie.
Ollie's patience and understanding for Lavi's inexperience speaks well for their relationship. You two are so well suited for each other. Lavi, by the end of this journey your off road skills will exceed those of many seasoned riders. Be safe, enjoy your journey together!
It's been really great watching you both. I am living in Kent, and it's been along time since I have been on them byways bringing great memories back I wish you both a safe journey
A great first episode. Two key learnings. 1) Ollie accepts that we only follow because of Lavi. 2) Lavi has stinky boots and socks. This was possibly too much information and could affect point 1. Looking forward to the next one. Stay Happy and Alive! xx
We've stayed on Norwood Farm a couple of times. Nice quite place where you get left alone if that's what you want. (No we don't work for them) Just had a real nice time there driving around taking pictures in Kent. :) Dungeness is amazing.
Awesome! Lavi, I fell off my bike the other day in a car park at a service station on the motorway right by the side of 4 parked up police vans. I came to a stop to allow a vehicle to manoeuvre and the next thing I fell over. I have absolutely no idea what i did 😂 so what I’m saying is falling off is cool 😎 and it reminds us we have to pay attention all the time on a bike and not get distracted. Your attitude means you will become an amazing rider and you have such a patient and kind partner. You guys are the best, thanks for all your content, it’s a joy to watch.
All good. A few days of those conditions and you'll be pros in the dry. Rain, well that's another matter. Great gear. About time. That's a beautiful area lots history small villages. Great way to see the country side. Next time. Cameras and audio great
I think you're doing really well Lavi . Do what you're comfortable with. Riding on clay is so slippery but thankfully not all of the uk has it. Can you tell me what bag you are wearing on your front. Looks really useful and easy to access, not like my rucksack that i have to take off every time i need something lol x
Following this adventure for sure! I loved my little VV, I'd still have it now if a BMW hadn't decided otherwise... Hoping to hit some parts of the TET myself when I have a new bike!! Enjoy your adventure! 👊💥
Cant believe you are riding through my home county, I know Dover and Folkestone so well, believe you are riding through my home town near Tenterden in the coming days, 😁
Just came across your channel from itchy boots, very interesting to compare the riding skills, It also shows what an excellent rider Noralay is and how she navigates all the conditions with such ease. Im sure in time you skills will improve.. Enjoyable vlog. Good luck with your journey..
Fantastic, very we!l done Lavi👍 doesn't matter how you do it, the important thing is that you're doing it and enjoying it. You'll soon be overtaking Ollie !!
Brave start guys 👏 I’m sure it will get easier if you are determined! This comment is probably too late if you are way ahead of your videos, but.. the TET can be seriously difficult in places and can be hard to make any progress in a day! The ACT (Adventure Country Tracks by Touratech) is designed to be a bit easier for big adventure bikes, the uk track is a similar route to your plan..?! I rode the Portugal ACT with my friend (both rubbish at off road! Vids on my channel) and it was amazing adventure! 🤩 If you end up in Scotland I’d love to meet up! 😎
Lavi, what an awesome job. I just wanted to say, don't worry about looking silly or being bad at things! You guys went around the world, you know a lot of stuff, and being willing to continue growing by trying to do something new (both of you!) is amazing. You guys are doing great! Thanks for taking us along!
If you need a refreshment stop can feed you both😉. Yeah everywhere is overgrown, I had to cut back the stinging nettles on my running route. Still great adventure cant wait to see more. P.s Must get out n green lane myself but got a demo ride soon and a bday party to plan for. Oh and we have had quite a bit of rain, I was put off going a few times thinking I would encounter something like you did. Check OS map maybe read up on the area you will getting to i.e soils+mud or slate etc..avoid quagmires of doom😂
Those bikes are perfect to ride through the single track as you begin your off-roading experience. Stalling and falling are all part of the fun. FUN Fricken Utter Nighmare. J.K. You'll come to love it. Soon you'll be popping wheelies as you fly through the muddy trails in a few weeks. 🤪 Excellent Cool 😎
Hola L&O, Oh, Lavi, I am so proud of you. That is one crazy trail. I felt claustrophobic just watching you two making your way through those very narrow areas. You handled it well for being so new to this. Well, done, Ollie! Safe and happy travels and see you in the next one. Happy and alive! Love, Sue ❤❤❤
Lavi you are a total badass! you are killing it! Pay no attention the the old misogynistic views....you are amazing!....and i cant wait to see more of your trip and watch as you kill the riding skills!....and Olie....good supportive energy! keep it going.....cant wait for more!!!
Wow thats more than one too many Lordy lords in a day .. i thought this would be relatively easier compared to the world trip but Day 1 itself proved me wrong ... Keep rocking !!!
Keep your weight on the pegs not the seat in the sketchy parts. Grip the tank/ seat with your legs. Stear by shifting your weight on the pegs. Ease up on the arm pump, just kinda follow the bike. Let some air out of the tires.
Great to have you guys underway on your new adventure together. An enjoyable watch which was a difficult start Lavi but before too long you will be flying through the different terrains once you and the bike become as one. Looking forward to the next one. All the best John & Penny 'Old and Alive' 😊✌✌🏍
For your first time you did wonderful on ur bike don't ever down yourself even experienced riders fall a lot . There will be tough times keep ur chin up have fun can't wait to see more !!!
I used to find that if you are in a rut , stay in it ...if it looks like an easier rut the other side ..the bit that will throw you is crossing over .. great effort ,good content.
You two are nuts! In a good way :) Lavi you are amazing! When I got my full licence I was sweating just riding on gravel. You young Lady are awesome! I am excited to see how your adventure unfolds.
Hi lavi and ollie, lavi you are a brave young lady, I have never ridden off road in 50 years riding and not going to start now, and to think you have just passed your test 👏👏👏. Only 3 times coming off well done you, cool hair cut ollie. Enjoyed your video and look forward to the next one. Take care from Roy 😊👍❤.
Lavi and Ollie, great video. Nice camera work and excellant audio! The map of the TET tells us you have great fun ahead. Lavi, excellant first day riding! Best way to become great and confident rider is in the dirt, on the trails. We are hoping it will be a lot of fun and very relaxing, riding in the country, away from tarmac is so wonderful. You guys are great!
How exciting! I'm looking forward to seeing you two facing new challenges. Great camping kit you have there! Just need B.O.W. stickers on those bikes to watch over you. 😉 Ride On, Ride Safe.
Great first video. Guys When you get to the peak district you will be spoilt for choice camping .looking forward to seeing u in my area .I have been watching you from the beginning of your world tour and even though I have been riding on and off road for over 40 years watching both of you inspired me to go of on my own and spend a month in Spain on and off road at 65 Lavi you are doing brilliantly for your first day I bet you slept well that night .
Big well done to you both on your new adventure. Lavi, you did so well on foreign grounds (muddy pathways 🎉). Soon you will be a pro with the mud🎊 Keep riding on forwards and happy travels to you both. 💕🌿🏍️🏍️

A motto to live by when on a bike, look where you want to go, not where you’re going 👍
a motto for moto :P
Just 3 falls on your first day off road - You did epic. Give it a few days and Ollie will have trouble keeping up with ya. Awesome Videos :)
🤪
Nice to note that Lavi, as a new rider, realises that she is not on a bicycle (4.28).

Thanks for the tips!😊
Amazing job, Lavi. For a new rider to tackle tough off road trail, you did awesome.
❤️
Lavi--a great start--just jumping in! I'm sure you'll gain confidence & comfort with each mile! Remember to look/focus on where you want to go, not on the bad stuff, else that's where the wheel will go!
Yes! Thank you!🥳
Pour l'herbe et la boue 1'8 barre dans les pneus sa change la moto !🎉😂❤
As a beginner rider ALWAYS keep your eyes on the road, don't be looking around if you have to just stop, and you will be safe !!!
I’m so proud for Lavi, what a wonderful job she did on basically her first day of dirt bike riding. 👍
Thank you ☺️
I'm happy to see you traveling again, especially by motorcycle. Lavi is quite the trooper! Actually you both are. This is going to be fun!
❤️
The best part always is enjoying what happy people the two of you are, whatever you're doing.
❤️
You guys deserve the hit on the like js for having to edit 4 cameras! That might have been quite a day's work... Awesone as always, let's start a new adventure through all of em

Great day in the slippery clay. lavi did very well. We all have had trouble on that type of track even after 50 something years
brilliant lavi the next itchy boots
🤪

1 easy thing stops fog - Pinlocks. Would never get a helmet without that again. They're amazing.

That’s awesome 🤩
The best way to learn is to be thrown in the deep end! 👌
Carlos Freire - Brasil - Welcome back.
🥳🎉
Good to see you back , try motocross goggles to protect you eyes and have visor up to cool off
Yes perhaps a good idea 😊
You both are brilliant. I’ve loved watching this video and will follow your journey. I’d recommend goggles for the off road bits and most of the low speed road sections. OLLIE to the rescue :) x.
Always 😊
Bravi e specialmente Lavy poco esperta alla guida 👏👏👏👏🥳🥳
Thank you ❤️
Can't wait to see you back in America. Rattlesnakes, tarantulas, and scorpions, at least in southwest. You might put on knobby tires for dirt.
Exciting

Yay, awesome you're now on your way!! Really looking forward to following this one! Lavi, you're doing fab... off road isn't easy to start with... Haha the heather saved you 😍 love it
Great to see the "better hit the road, let's go" camera slap again!
What a cool little trail that single track is! Such fun on little bikes!
It's amazing that you're allowed to ride down those small tracks in the UK!
Yeah that first campsite looked really inviting! 🤣Bread and cheese! Of course! 🤣
Your camping gear has improved significantly since the start of the world trip!
Well done Lavi, amazing effort riding that slippery terrain with such little riding experience! 👌
Very nice video, the video shooting is more than wonderful❤❤
Thank you so much ❤️
Welcome back! We have missed your exciting and fun trips. Wonderful to see the English countryside.
😍😍😍
Watching from Australia and really enjoyed the new adventure kicking off.
Awesome ❤️
You are riding on chalk there, very slippery when damp. Try and look further forwards down the track, speed is your friend in these situations generally. Standing up will also help.
Easier said than done though.
Good luck !
Thank you 😊
How exciting to begin a new adventure! Give yourselves time to adapt. Hope you can enjoy each day.
❤️
Yes, you started...good luck but I'm sure there will be harder parts which you will have to cross. 😄
That was already super hard 🤣
I'm really excited about this season. I'd love to travel through the U.K. countryside. I've only seen London and parts of Surrey on the train.
🤩
You should say, “Time to hit the trail, let’s go”.
😂
Glad to see you guys starting another adventure. You have a good safe pace going. Don’t get into any hurry, you have plenty more miles and days to learn and get better. Won’t be long and Lavi will be riding as good as Ollie.
Sorry next time 🤪
Ollie's patience and understanding for Lavi's inexperience speaks well for their relationship. You two are so well suited for each other.
Lavi, by the end of this journey your off road skills will exceed those of many seasoned riders.
Be safe, enjoy your journey together!
Thank you so much ❤️
Very well done Lavi. New rider on wet clay, you did amazing and were really brave. The more you ride the easier it will get
❤️
You two are doing fine. Take it easy, learn and enjoy. Keep it up!
❤️
It's been really great watching you both. I am living in Kent, and it's been along time since I have been on them byways bringing great memories back I wish you both a safe journey

❤❤❤ looking forward to the rest of the episodes.
I would like to take you guys on the trans American trail or T.A.T. great ride through Colorado, Utah, Idaho and Oregon. Lots of fun . Enjoy your ride
We would love that
Cant believe you are riding through my home county, I know Dover and Folkestone so well, believe you are riding through my home town near Tenterden in the coming days, 😁

She looks like she s having fun. It will get better. Lots of luck

🎉🥳
Rule no 1: keep your chin up and try to look 10-20 meters ahead of you. Rule no 2: take it easy, you are learning and doing good Lavi :)
😎🎉
Great to see you tackle the TET, looking forward to seeing more. Love the fact Lavi was just smiling the whole time, even when it was tough going.
😍
Wow thats more than one too many Lordy lords in a day .. i thought this would be relatively easier compared to the world trip but Day 1 itself proved me wrong ... Keep rocking !!!
Brill to see you out on the UK green lanes... Lavi has done far better than most would... especially as you are loaded up with kit too!
Keep your weight on the pegs not the seat in the sketchy parts. Grip the tank/ seat with your legs. Stear by shifting your weight on the pegs. Ease up on the arm pump, just kinda follow the bike. Let some air out of the tires.

For your first time you did wonderful on ur bike don't ever down yourself even experienced riders fall a lot . There will be tough times keep ur chin up have fun can't wait to see more !!!
🥳
Off road is fun 😅
Totally 🤩
Hey Lavi, enjoy this part of the learning process because 'when you don't know what you don't know, you'll give anything a go'.
Haha so true 🤣
I used to find that if you are in a rut , stay in it ...if it looks like an easier rut the other side ..the bit that will throw you is crossing over .. great effort ,good content.
Good advice 😊
You two are nuts! In a good way :) Lavi you are amazing! When I got my full licence I was sweating just riding on gravel. You young Lady are awesome! I am excited to see how your adventure unfolds.
❤️
Your Adventures(escapades) are AMAZING.🏍🏍🏍
🤩
Hi lavi and ollie, lavi you are a brave young lady, I have never ridden off road in 50 years riding and not going to start now, and to think you have just passed your test 👏👏👏. Only 3 times coming off well done you, cool hair cut ollie. Enjoyed your video and look forward to the next one. Take care from Roy 😊👍❤.
Thank you so much Roy ❤️
Nice to see you back on the road again. YAY! Lavi, don't give up. I look forward to watching this new adventure. Watching from Orlando, Florida. 🙂🙂🙂
Awesome 🥳
It's great that you are on the road again and you have new adventures, take care of yourself and be safe.
Way to go!!!
Woohoo 🥳
I guess you already know it, but your really lucky to have such a lovely partner. And she likes BIKES 😲😲😲😁😁😁😁
❤️
How exciting!
I'm looking forward to seeing you two facing new challenges.
Great camping kit you have there!
Just need B.O.W. stickers on those bikes to watch over you. 😉
Ride On, Ride Safe.
Haha yes will add that 😎
This is a good start to the adventure. You did not disappoint. Have fun and enjoy the trails.
Best of luck, oh! Great Mullett Oli :)
😎
Great first video. Guys
When you get to the peak district you will be spoilt for choice camping .looking forward to seeing u in my area .I have been watching you from the beginning of your world tour and even though I have been riding on and off road for over 40 years watching both of you inspired me to go of on my own and spend a month in Spain on and off road at 65
Lavi you are doing brilliantly for your first day I bet you slept well that night .
Thank you so much 🥳😍
Yep! Definately not V-Strom 1050- friendly lanes, those!
Lavi's gonna be an expert off-roader in no time at all if this keeps up!
😍
The camera does not show how steep that chalky slope is. I don't that same track about a week ago, went down some of it side ways! Lavi you done well.
Yes the cameras didn’t do justice to the trail 😵💫
Big well done to you both on your new adventure. Lavi, you did so well on foreign grounds (muddy pathways 🎉). Soon you will be a pro with the mud🎊 Keep riding on forwards and happy travels to you both.
💕🌿🏍️🏍️
😍😍😍
Nicely done you two. Nicely done. Happy and Alive!
Happy and alive 🎉🥳
And I'm hooked again. More great adventures. Love you guys. Hope to see you as you pass by Hampshire.
😍😍😍😍
Really good choice of bike it seems. Easy to handle and not too taxing if you drop it. Better than a 1200 GS (or whatever they are now lol).
Haha oh yes
