I never cared for gin at first. I tried beefeater and hated it. Then my step-mother got me a nip of aviation and I still don't know how I feel about it. But when I tried Taquerary I suddenly understood. You are 100% right about the right gin for you being critical
Hey Lui, great content my man! Would love to see more content exploring gin!
I personally love Bombay and Star of Bombay, Sipsmith, Roku, and Arapuru.
Cheers from Brazil!
I know that this is a "celebrity" spirit but James May's Gin is absolutely amazing for a classic gin & tonic.
My favorite Gimlet is made with Tanqueray No. 10, but I have to try that St. George Terroir. Thanks for the tip.
I love gin, Tanqueray and Bombay, nice to hear there are other options
I love how informative your videos are🌟you’ve definitely influenced me to stop drinking casamigos and trying unknown quality liquors.
Thank you friend! Happy you're enjoying the content 😁🙏
Really enjoy your channel Lui. Wow-two gins I was not familiar with and look forward to checking out (Amazonni and Scapegrace)-thanks. Current favorites for me are the Botanist, Loch & Union, Roku, and Gunpowder. NOT a fan of Aviation.
I love hendricks and as of yet to try sipsmiths and the botanist. As of now totally in love with the cucumber and rose notes in hendricks.
Video about gin, yay! I have a sealed bottle of Amázzoni, the standard one. Gonna check him out this month.
I'm such a big fan of them! Great people who run the brand as well
Great Gin vid, Can we get a top 3 cognac?
The St George Botanivore makes a great Tom Collins. The Barr Hill makes a nice gin and tonic w lemon, or neat because of the slight sweetness. Ford’s London Dry is a great all around option.
Definitely try Silent Pool and Highclere Castle.
Just picked up a bottle of Mojave High Desert and it’s amazing. Uses prickly pear and other botanicals. Makes a great Rickey with Topo Chico and line. Might have to try their Low Desert now.
IMO the High is the better of the two, far more unique. The Low was closer to an orange citrus.
Damn I wish I had your knowledge 👍🏼
Gin on the rocks is one of our favorites!
LUI!!! This was awesome!!! Different styles of gin make a HUGE impact on a cocktail!!! If you can get it, try PiuCinque gin. Its an Italian gin that's citrus forward and delish!!! That is the one Gin that one could sip neat!!! CHEERS!!!
I haven't seen that one yet but I'll keep an eye out for it Tim!
St. George is my favourite! I also have everything they make and I adore their gins!! Cheers!!
Happy you agree! St. George is my favorite!
Piucinque is an incredible Italian Gin and i always use it to create a 100% Italian Negroni... I highly recommend it.... Love all of your suggestions Lui🙏🔥
I'll have to keep an eye out for that one!
Somewhat like St Georges, consider Gray Whale, a moderate priced California gin made with organic California botanicals including kelp. It is a very fun, quality gin. I make G&Ts and martinis with it.
YESSSSS!!!! First in!!!
I love Conniption navy strength. It goes well with Noilly Prat extra dry vermouth and Malort for an albino Negroni.
Gimlets are a favorite, but I usually drink it with an ice cube and a slice of citrus. As always, an excellent video.
Thanks friend
Great video as usual my man. I'll be picking up a bottle of Bar Hill next week probably and I'll see if I can find that Amazzoni. I actually have a bottle of Scapegrace. I saw on the internet at some point they had a black gin. I've yet to see it in the wild. My three favorite gins are Bluecoat, G Vine, and Three Pillars (particularly their Navy Strength).
Thank you friend! And yeah! I've been trying to find that Black Gin myself! I'm super interested in it. I love what they do and it sounds fascinating to me
@Lui_Fern oh, so you've seen it too? I thought I was mistaken or being trolled. Now I'm really going to find it.
@@kawonewilliams1949 yeah i heard about it ! Apparently it's the mixture of their botanicals that makes it that color. I'm curious to see if it's a gimmick or if it's actually good.
Omgoodness I'm a tequila gal but just started having an interest in gin. Ty!
Barr Hill is my favorite of all the gins that I have tried so far. I haven’t found St. George in PA.
Barr Hill is so good!
Try Empress 1908 gin. Canadian and its purple colour makes your drinks look beautiful. It's amazing
Empress gin is a gimmick.
In a g&t. Hendricks>Beefeater>Sapphire/Sapphire East. Bombay n beefeater right at $20 where i live. Have Flora Adora left and using Mediterranean tonic to finish this bottle and the next 2
Have u tried bulldog?
here are three gins you can't find
You can find Barr hill anywhere
Aviation was the best gin I’ve tried so far. Good job Ryan Reynolds
Hendricks, 135 East, Monkey 47, 3 gins i could drink exclusively
Roku gin! The best I've had.
I'm so spoiled here with local distilleries making top quality gins
I sip gin haha.
Terroir is good, more unique than a top. Tasts like Coastal California.
The Bontanivore is my favorite for a G&T as it's one of the few gins that stands up to the tonic.
Rye Gin is a no, just drink whisky. the whisky nose overpowers anything.
Have you tried Roku Gin? Its my go-to and its quite delicious
I like Roku quite a lot actually.
Are you familiar w Tuck gin?
Gin is a liquid sex enhancer from my experience. Just don't go overboard or it's night nite 😆😆😆
Hahahaha I'll take your word for it
@@Lui_Fern 😃 😃 😃 You right though. Some folks don't like drinking gin. I would sip on mines Str8 and mix with pineapple or O.J every once in a while. Had to put that seagrams bottle down for a while it was getting me into trouble lol. Got to try the gin's you reviewed today especially the one made from honey. Glad I came across your videos been watching since late last year year. Great content. Take all the things you review and mix em all together like Tipsy bartender. Lol. And there you have it homeboy 😂😆😁
@@crazytiger8614 thanks friend! Happy to hear that. 😁🙏
@@Lui_Fern Fasho Bro😎😎😎💯💯💯
Wouldn't. Bees Knees be fabulous w the Barr Hill!
Bees Knees with Barr Hill is out of this world!
Yes!! Cannot wait. Ty for this review. I knkw you from tequila reviews. As I mentioned, gin is 'up'.. I'm learning. Xo
@@donnatecce1884 happy to help 😁🙏
all these gins shown and tasted, while you have a bottle of Bobby's gin sitting on the shelf right behind your head. Are you trying to tell us something?
The absolute best gin in a negroni is st. George terroir.....not even debatable.
I'm with you 1000%
My wife loves gin and scotch I cant stand either one. I have no idea why. Maybe that honey one will be the breaker. She loves Bombay Safire.
so, i take it you've NEVER tried Australian gins? EXTREMLEY BIASES
Beard trim is 💩
I love gin, and absynth, Absolutely!
