Daemon and Billy butcher have a lot of similarities with each other. They’ve both gone rogue. Been told they will die, and their desires are contrasting the protagonists. Really interesting guys. And Matt smith does the Daemon role incredibly
Jace and Baela are a good match. They would do a good job ruling Westeos. Alys Rivers is definitely messing with Daemon... Whether by drugging his food or some greenseer shenanigans... He's going bug nuts.

Ive seen theories where Alys might either be a ghost or she's not actually there and is a figment of his imagination. Don't know how true this is but have we seen her interact with anyone besides Daemon? In that one scene, when she walked past Lord Strong she just vanished... creepy.
I called it a few episodes ago when I said Plagius was behind this. He is using the force to make new bodies to inhabit. But it isn't him, he is using the witches to do it because it takes many of them at a vergance to do it and 1 Sith cannot do it alone. He is likely using the witches for his own purposes and somehow they think it is some kind of partnership. Chimera is likely another creation of his. The twins were likely another experiment also. He likely made 2 in order to hedge his bets so that if something happened to 1 he still had the other. I like a theory someone else had and that was that Anakin was also his creation, but I'm inclined to think it was Sidious' creation and that he intended to take his body. But that is another topic. I liked the plot of hte show, but agree that the writing was less than. I also thought several of the actors did a poor job acting. Of course I did not like the social justice warrior stuff being pushed on us. All in all, I would agree, about a 7. I hope there is a season 2 and more to the story/plot as long as they improve those shortcomings that this season had.

Y'know. Now that it's pretty much a non-stop losing festival for the Blacks, I'm not sure how excited I am to watch the rest of the show. It's pretty miserable to watch literally everyone around Rhaenyra fuck up and betray her and knowing how it all ends...I'm starting to feel like "What's in this for me? To just watch my side suffer and die for the next several seasons?" meh. Maybe they should get away from the source material so they have more freedom tbh. Because I'm not sure I have the emotional bandwidth for this. We've made films on historical events, but usually those don't try so hard to get you to empathize with the people (especially one side) involved. So, the ending and getting there is never really so bitter. For this, to know the ending but to empathize anyway is good. It's an artistic message. But given the actual content of the story...what's the point. If empathizing means you also just kind of feel bad for everyone all the time then why watch the show? Why not just go smash my nuts with a 2x4?

Jon was a bastard at the wall, Sansa was being tormented somewhere, Rickon barely existed, Bran was fucked off on his greenseer journey. Arya was across the Narrow Sea, wasn't interested in ruling, and was a woman. AND since the show outstripped the source material, I *DIDN'T* know the ending. These things are not the same. Idk what you're on about. Also, until the Red Wedding, Robb was winning. After that, Jon had loads of success throughout. Arya, even though she was suffering, was on her way to becoming a badass. It's just not the same for so many reasons.

And she is the one who suffers most while doing the least evil and injustice of any character save Jace, Baela, and Helaena. And it should be noted that both Jace and Baela have already defied her once each.
